ELOISE WOKE UP WITH A POUNDING HEADACHE.
Her eyes were still closed but she could feel that she was no longer on a cold hard floor but what felt like a warm bed. Slowly, she opened her eyes only to be met with the ceiling of the hospital wing. The curtains were drawn around her to give her privacy while she slept.
Eloise sat up with a wince, her head was killing her. The memories came flooding back to her. She had been hit with the cruciatus curse. She certainly was not expecting that.
Worry flashed through her mind next. What about the others? Were they okay? What about the prophecy? Her father?
Eloise looked down to see she was wearing a familiar old t-shirt and biker shorts. Ones that she could have sworn she left at home. Confused, she slid out of the bed and pulled back the curtain.
"She's awake!"
Eloise was scooped up into a tight embrace by her father.
"Darling," Dimitri led his daughter back to her bed, forcing her to sit back down and drawing the curtain around the bed again. "You need rest. Lay down."
"How long have I been out?" She asked, trying to sit up.
"About two days." He replied, pushing her hair back and making her lay down again. "I've been visiting everyday to check on you. Look, brought you your clothes and everything. Lucky I got here at the right time. Do you want anything, darling? Water? A snack-?"
"Dad, I'm okay," She reassured him, sitting up again. "Really. My head hurts a bit but-"
"Can we get some painkillers over here?" Dimitri shouted, not realizing Madam Pomfrey was right next to him. "Pomfrey? Pom- oh hello there you are."
Madam Pomfrey rolled her eyes at Dimitri as she tended to Eloise. The cut that was on her eyebrow had been healed and aside from some bruises ("Do they hurt darling? I can find something for that, money is no issue- Pomfrey I never said you can't do your job I was just offering-") she was fine. Eloise was given a potion for the pain and she was starting to feel okay again.
Dimitri filled her in on everything that happened after she was knocked out. It was not what she was expecting. They managed to get the prophecy away from the death eaters. But Voldemort himself made an appearance. Harry had a run in with him after-
"Sirius?" Eloise breathed. "Oh god..."
She had only met him once. But she could tell he was a good man. He cared about the Order, about his friends, about Harry. She could only imagine what he must be going through right now.
"Okay," Dimitri was sitting on the bed next to her, holding her hand. "Better now? You're feeling alright?"
