After the Rainfall: Episode 9

"Izuku and Ochaco: Climax"

Izuku continues running towards the direction Ochaco ran. He didn't have a plan, nor did he even know where she was. All he knew was that he wanted to apologize for the mistake he committed. Dark thoughts begin entering Izuku's mind as he continues mindlessly dashing towards the forest.

As he continues talking to himself, and blaming himself for letting her get away, Izuku manages to make it to the end of the forest at the peak of the hill. There, he notices Ochaco sitting at the edge of the hill — her face buried in her knees. Izuku's heart begins pumping as the adrenaline from overusing his quirk starts kicking in.

Izuku takes a deep breath, and slowly walks towards Ochaco, still audibly sobbing. He tries to catch her attention, but guilt seeps into Izuku's mind as he continues to listen to Ochaco's genuine tears — tears that she had been crying for him, and only him. Izuku then decides to walk up beside her, and to take a seat beside her against the grass.

Ochaco: *Sob* D-Deku... I-I'm... I'm so h-happy for you...

Izuku: Ochaco...

Ochaco sobs even more after hearing Izuku's voice. She tries to stand up to escape, but Izuku holds her by the wrist before she can get up.

Ochaco: *Sob* L-Let me go, Deku... I wanna be alone right now...

Izuku: N-No... I don't want to...

Ochaco looks towards Deku with a frustrated expression in her gaze.

Ochaco: What do you mean "no"?! You already shattered my heart, you don't need to lead me on anymore!

Izuku: Ochaco... Melissa and I never meant to kiss. At first I wanted to leave, but she pulled me in... I couldn't help myself...

Ochaco: *Sob* Th-Then... go back to her! You deserve so much more than someone as stupid as me!

Izuku: Ochaco, you aren't stupid...

Ochaco: *Sob* I AM stupid because I fell in love with YOU! Why are you making my heart hurt so much, Deku?! Whenever I'm doing something, my mind always immediately goes to the thought of you!

I just can't stop thinking about you! Every hour of every day, my heart keeps on pleading for YOU. I tried to push these feelings down, but every time I see you smile at me, or blush around me, those feelings just begin... resurfacing!

I love you so much, Deku...! I'm in so much dang love with you! I LOVE YOU, I LOVE YOU, I LOVE YOU! There, I said it! I love you so much it hurts! I want to be around you constantly, I want us to go on dates, I want to be like Yao-momo and Todoroki!

I want to eat meals with you everyday, I want to be able to go to your room and talk about our future, I want to spend the rest of my life with you by my side! I-I want to be yours, Deku...! I don't care anymore... I don't care how much I'm embarrassing myself right now!

Izuku looks down at his feet after hearing Ochaco's lengthy speech. He also begins crying to himself in the tense situation.

Ochaco: I'm... I'm so happy whenever we're together. You make me the happiest woman alive whenever we're together... I just wish you could see that sometimes...

Izuku: If... If it's okay, I want to say a few things to you too...

Ochaco buries her face back into her knees. Izuku takes a deep breath, and looks towards Ochaco.
