꧁eighty-eight꧂
Before the War I
The same night, someone requested an audience for (Name) at Tokyo Police Station. Not asking for further details on who it was, (Name) used her holographic data system to look into who was requesting to see her.
Dropping all her dinner utensils caught the attention of Lancelot and Carlitos. "Is something--"
"Izea." She began with a shocked expression. "Izea's here."
Wasting no time, the three of them glitched to an alleyway (Name) remembered going through near Tokyo when she and Kirishima went on a little crepe trip. They didn't even bother to bring a change of clothes, so a few people were looking at them run under the snow with only pajamas and hoodies on.
As they neared the police station, (Name) felt a familiar aura. One she never thought she feels again. They quickened their pace, anticipating the reunion between the old friends.
As they stepped inside the police station with their snow-soaked pajamas, there they saw the green-haired lady wrapped in a brown winter coat, sitting next to the pro-hero: Manual.
Izea turned her head when she felt three figures looking at her. Her eyes fell wide, ready to burst into tears when she saw the three. She stood up as she locked eyes with (Name).
(Name), who stood by the door breathed heavily with a large grin on her lips. It's been a.long time since they've seen each other and all of them were happy everyone was safe.
While (Name) went to the side to arrange some papers regarding Izea's identity, Carlitos and Lancelot sat on a bench inside the building. "Why are you here?" Asked Carlitos breaking the silence.
"Are you not happy to see me?" Asked Izea as she feigned a frown. "I thought you'd at least be."
Lancelot chuckled and shook his head, "before that." He intervenes. "Why do you look like that? And yeah, how come you're here?"
Izea's small smile turned pensive., She clutched on the coat draped on her shoulders tightly. "It's the Emperor." She began. "He's waging war against the Utopian Continent."

Midoriya tossed and turned. He can't forget the look (Name) had when she brushed him off. It kind of pained him to see her look that way, but he was more concerned about what exactly caused happened.
He tried to ask Bakugou a few questions, but he just slapped him off angrily. Everyone seemed a little off today. Todoroki stood in the kitchen staring at a plate for a few minutes until Mina called him out, Ochaco seems to be avoiding the crowd, but what's most suspicious today was Momo's arrival at the dorms after her usual late-night stroll.
The teachers did a good job not raising suspicions that they knew what Momo was doing. Bakugou almost slipped a word before but Todoroki managed to swerve the topic.
Can't find himself to sleep, he stepped out of his room and made way toward the common room. Stepping out of the elevator, he held places his phone in his pocket as he tied his bangs back.
Then there he saw Momo clearly walking the other way with luggage on hand. Midoriya, knowing him, ran toward her. "Momo!" He called.
Momo was startled. Briefly looking at her wristwatch, she was confused why Midoriya was up this late. She didn't bother replying to him but halts her step to wait for him.
"Where are you going?" Asked Midoriya with a small chuckle. "isn't it late?"
The clouds briefly let the moonlight pass through its holes, and there it illuminated Momo's glare. Midoriya was taken aback. "Is everything alri--"
"We don't have to act, Midoiya." She cuts him off. "I know I've been found out."
"Huh?" Asked Midoriya, "what do you mean?"
Without answering him, she walked away. Midoriya's feet felt like they froze and sunk underneath the heavy snow. He didn't know what to do. The class feels like it's falling apart. Weren't they all heroes in training?
Too drowned in his thoughts, Midoriya didn't notice the figure that walked inside the dorms.
--
The next day, the class heard about (Name)'s withdrawal from school. The reason being: "She needs to focus on their growing business--"Aizawa cuts himself off when he saw his student's shocked faces. "which we all know is not true."
"Then.."Kirishima managed to ask. "Why did she go?"
Mina's eyes started to tear up, "without even saying goodbye?"
Looking around, Aizawa made sure all doors were closed and all windows here shut. He also noticed Yaoyorozu's seat empty. "There have been traces of magic found in your dorms yesterday." He started.
The class gasped unanimously. They all felt something off in the dorms as if the air was heavier and the lights were dim even at maximum brightness. They all thought it was just because of the winter season. Turns out it wasn't.
"Is it safe for us to go back to the dorms? kero." Asked Tsuyu with her hand up.
Everyone in the class didn't know what to feel. At first, the thought of fighting magic and new villains thrilled them. Learning new stuff, learning about a whole new world would be very interesting. But now, they were starting to see why (Name) wanted to do this alone.
Even before Aizawa can answer, Bakugou exclaimed "It's that Yaoyorozu bitch, huh?" He points at the empty seat next to Todoroki. The class gave him curious stares but Midoiya, Todoroki, Jirou, and Aizawa's jaws fell open.
Jirou didn't know some knew of Yaoyaorozu's plan, and the boys were shocked to hear Bakugou almost announce it to class.
"Bakugou." Warned Aizawa. "Keep your mouth sh--"
"We've dragged this too far, teacher, "Bakugou replied with a glare. The students of 1A gave him a confused look, their brows furrowed in confusion and some were starting to connect the lines.
"It's already a mess," said Bakugou. "She left the school, right? That's why she's not here."
"Bakugou." Aizawa's eyes started to glow red. He was serious and pissed this time. "I told you to keep your mouth shut."
Everyone felt the tension between the student and his teacher. It felt like the class was falling apart--everybody felt that and couldn't help but be sad.
New villains were rising and as much as they didn't want to blame (Name), they knew the villains came for her. Mina raised her hand, demanding an answer to what was happening--which seemed to break the deadly silence that filled the room.
Aizawa explained, not hiding anything from them. Aizawa knew they deserved to know the truth. They've been caught in the mess.
Once again, the class fell silent. They couldn't believe that their vice-president would not only risk their new friend, but also potentially put the school in danger. The very reason why the dorms were assigned was to keep the students safe from villains, but little did they know it was their students bringing villains in.
"She.." Jirou spoke up. All eyes turned to her as she looked down at her table. "She was just conflicted and jealous." Jirous began to defend Yaoyorozu. "She felt as if (Name) took everything from her ever since she came to Japan. Her model career Uwabami, her title in class, her frie--"
"But that does not give her the right to put her in danger." Mina cuts Jirou off. "That's never a sufficient reason to put us all in danger--."
"And (Name) can?" Jirou snaps.
"Please don't get me wrong here, as of right now I'm not on any side. I know Momo's wrong but Scorpion, Scopi--whatever, wouldn't be here if (Name) didn't come here. We have our villains and she has hers. Momo's only trying to get rid of the problem through the root--"
Jirou cuts herself off when she realized the class was giving her an unbelievable look. It was as if they were glaring right through her words. "We are heroes, Jirou." Kirishima started.
"You guys are acting on your emotions! Isn't it practical to--"
"Jirou, you need to understand another's situation to be a hero," Ochaco added. "We don't know what (Name) went through in her world and she needs help. She might not say she needs it, but we all know she does. We're training to be heroes, Jirou."
Jirou was taken back. It seems like the class was not getting her point. Now she can see why Momo was doing everything she can to bring her back. "You're willing to save one person, who belongs in another dimension, in exchange for our very own people?" Jirou snickered. "heroes my ass."
"No." Midoriya mustered up the courage to intervene. "We just have to bring Scorpius back to Glitherial and by doing that, ever--"
"How are we going to beat magic, Midoriya?!" Jirou snaps up her chair with rage printed on her face. "Have you not heard? Learning magic can cause our lives! We could die in the middle of learning something we're not even supposed to learn!" This was the first time they saw Jirou lose her cool.
"Why do you keep destroying yourself? You're already breaking your body with that quirk of yours and now you want to learn something more destructive?! That's how much you want to save (Name)?! So much you're willing to die for her?!"
The class felt like what Jirou said stepped over the line, but to Midoriya, he knew this was true. Just with One For All, his body was already breaking.
"Jirou-" Kaminari called. "That was not cool."
Jirou just kissed her teeth. "I guess your silence means yes?" She asked Midoriya. She relaeased a small laugh of mockery. And again, the class fell quiet. "Then go die in war." She grabbed her bag and stormed off the classroom.
The reason why Aizawa stayed silent was for him and the kids to know what Jirou and Momo were feeling. By letting her speak, all of them got the chance to understand both side's feelings and intentions.
"Why don't we," Aizawa added. "End class today? I'll send out an email for any changes tomorrow." And with that, he was the very first one to dash out the door, heading to the principal's office.
"War?" Aoyama asked. His face morphed into fear just by the word. "What does madam Jirou mean by 'war'?"

Hey yall!!!
We're getting a bit serious now LMAO
sorry for the long wait! I literally had no idea how to space out the final parts of this book and was struggling to find the right words to deliver the chapter.
Starting from her on out, we might focus a bit on the Glitherial Empire!
Things can get a little bit informational, so I'll leave a glossary at the end of every chapter!
That's all for now! Stay safe and drink lots of water!
