"Ughhh there's nothing to dooo!" Ink whined, her legs hanging over the back of the couch. Blue sat on the couch next to her, reading a book. She glared at Ink and raised a brow.
"Why not go to your Doodle Sphere and check on the AUs?" Blue suggested.
"I do that all the time...They'll be fine for a few more hours," Ink replied with a dismissive wave of her hand.
"...Ok. How about you read something?"
"I don't feel like reading right now..."
"How about you get up and clean then?"
"But I don't wanna cleaannn..."
"Go draw, Ink."
"I'm too tired to move and get my stuff, Blue."
Blue put her book down and looked over to me pleadingly. I put a hand to my mouth and giggled at their shenanigans. Blue sighed and got up, realizing she'd get no help from me.
"I'm gonna go clean something, you're driving me nuts," Blue stated as she got up and left the room.
I put down my book and got up as well, straightened out my clothes, and headed for the doorway. "Where're you goin' Dream?" Ink asked, falling over to her side, and sitting correctly onto the couch now.
"I...I was just going for a walk. To clear my head," I said softly. Ink raised a brow and shrugged.
"Aight. Have fun. Just text me if you need help or something." I nodded and teleported away.

I walked into a clearing in Outertale, my hand fiddling with the small belt around my wrist.
I sensed negative feelings here...From what I know, it's possible Error could come here. It might be him. I kinda hope it is him. I want to help. I want to know why he does what he does and maybe...just maybe, I could change his mind?
I stood at the edge, looking down into the abyss of stars. Colors of purples, blues, and yellows mixing below and around me. My thoughts trailed off as the silence settled in. Just for fun I called out into the abyss, wondering if it'd echo.
"Hello!" I grinned as the echoes of "hello" sounded around the cliffs.
I felt a pebble below my feet crumble from the sound. I stared wide eyed in front of me as I lost my balance, my body tipping over the edge. "No, no, NONONONONO- A-AH HELP- HELP-!!" I yelled out, flailing my arms for anything to hold onto.
Suddenly, I felt something tight wrap around my torso, pulling me roughly from the edge. I fell onto my side, back on solid ground, my arms tied behind my back. I looked up, my breathing still frantic, and was met with my rescuer.
"You're asking for death leaning over that far," Error said, giving me a frown of mild distaste. I opened my mouth to speak, but nothing came out. "What are you doing here anyway?"
"I-I sensed negative feelings...I came to check it out a-and to see if I could help..." I said, trying to steady my heartrate and breathing. I wincing as the strings became tighter; Error's glare hardened.
"What can you help with?" He asked.
"A-anything, please, I want to help, p-please let me help, p-please."
He released the strings from around me. I gasped for breath, my hand instinctively rubbing around my neck. Error sat on the edge, hunched forward with his hands gripping the stony cliff.
Hesitantly, I sat next to him. "Sorry," he said quietly. I looked to him, surprised at his sudden apology. I didn't expect him to apologize at all, he was the God of Destruction and didn't ever apologize for anything (according to Ink).
"I-it's alright," I replied, giving him a small smile, though he kept his gaze on the stars above us.
We sat in silence for a few moments.
"...So...Would you like to tell me what's bothering you?" I asked timidly. He sighed, turning to face me with a straight face.
"Do I scare you?" he asked simply, a small grin forming on his mouth.
I couldn't help blushing a little, and so I bowed my head. "A-a little bit, yes," I said.
I heard Error laugh. I looked to him and smiled slightly; we held eye contact. We smiled at each other.
NO! Keep your guard up you dumbass!
Don't let her think you're weak!
You idiot!
Slowly, I saw Error's face melt to something sadder, his brows furrowed, and he looked away, his hands clutching his skull. He began to shake violently, his breath coming in short gasps.
"M-make them sToP, p-PleAse, make th-thEm SToP-," Error said, his voice glitching along with his body.
"E-Error are you ok? Make who stop? What's wrong?! E-Error?!" I panicked, not knowing what to do. I looked around, and then came to my senses. He needed comfort.
I scooted closer and wrapped my arms around him, pulling him into my chest, and shut my eyes tightly. Slowly, Error stopped shaking and glitching; I still held onto him. We pulled back a bit and made eye contact, both of our faces flooded by yellow blush.
Error lost his balance and fell back, pulling me with him. I let out a yelp and landed on top of him, our faces now inches away from touching. Error's eyes became a blank red, "error" signs and ones and zeros flooded his sockets, and his body became stiff.
I scrambled off him, my hands pulling my gold-colored scarf over my mouth. I heard Error grumbled to himself and sat up, rubbing his face and eyes roughly.
"Oh that's just fantastic. Now I can't freaking see. Whoop-de-doo-!" he said irritably, more to himself than to me.
"I-I'm sorry, I didn't know that I would do that, I'm sorry..." I said quietly, looking at him with concern; and also being very grateful he couldn't see how hard I was blushing. Error sighed and shifted in the direction he heard me.
"You don't know then?" He asked, raising a brow.
"N-no?"
"I've got this magical thing called "haphephobia." I'd rather you not touch me without some sort of warning," he said. He scoffed and stood up, dusting off his trench coat and blinked multiple times, his eyes slowly returning to normal. "So when Ink talks about me, she doesn't say important stuff? Gee, what a great guy that squid is."
"N-no...she really doesn't. Just mostly bullies you," I said, trying to suppress a laugh. Error visibly rolled his eyes, smiling faintly as he crossed his arms. I stood up, placing my hands behind my back, and returning the smile.
"...D'you happen to have any chocolate on you?" Error asked, stuffing his hands in his pockets and looking down.
"No...I don't. But I could get you some!" I replied happily. "What for exactly?"
"It'll help my vision get back to normal," he said. I nodded and opened a portal.
"Got it. I'll be right back!" I said, hopping through the portal to the Sanctuary.

Blue trailed behind me as I returned to Outertale, a bag of chocolates in my hands. I saw Error sitting against a tree, his head in his knees.
"Why's Error here?! I thought you said you need them for a friend!" Blue asked loudly, causing Error to notice them.
"And he is, he needed help, so I'm going to help. Now c'mon," I said plainly. Blue huffed but walked alongside me.
Just as I was in front of Error, my foot caught on a stray root and I fell forward. Error reached out and caught me, holding my shoulders firmly as I clutched onto his coat. Slowly, our eyes met, and we blushed profusely, scrambling off each other and avoiding further eye contact.
Blue looked at us quizzically. "Uhm- Did I miss something or...?"
I looked to Error for an explanation, though his attention was on the ground. I sighed and fiddled with the bag still in my hands. "H-he was just being nice. It was my mistake, a-and I'm sure it was just because he didn't want his chocolate to be crushed...?" I said, not as convincing as I would have liked.
"Oke. Makes sense," Blue said, not wanting to pry further.
Error held out his hand in my direction, waiting for the bag. I set the chocolates in his hand and he quickly opened it and ate some.
"Thanks for the help," he said, closing the bag and blinking several times. His vision cleared considerably, and he seemed back to normal. He nodded to Blue and walked past her and opened a portal.
While Blue wasn't looking, Error turned and smiled at me. He smiled, his cheeks a bit yellow as he left from view.
I couldn't help but smile back.

writing do be hard sometimes. thanks for reading though, and have a fantastic life <3
((NOTES: The voices? They're creators. Ink can hear them, and so can Error, though his are more... well, they're not as nice to him as they are to Ink. Or at least he doesn't take them as well)).
