You wake up around 7:00am to get ready for the day. You wanted to wake up early so you could try and think of a way to get outta of this place.
You thought of talking with that blue dog... What was his name? Barnaby? Eh all you had to do was ask if he had a phone, you noticed you didn't have one at your house maybe he had one at his.
It wasn't hard finding Barnabys house considering that there is only one house that has dog prints on it. You seen it when you were running over, right before you ran into Wally.
You decided right after Wally shows you around you'll ask Barnaby or anyone that can help you and if none of them do you'll make a run for it and see how it goes from there.
You get outta bed and grab a change of clothes. It was an yellow dress with orange at the ends of it along with white stockings and black small heels,. You style your hair in a swirly bun and you also add some accessories that consisted of clouds and some light colored charm's. You put some white gloves on and looked in the mirror.
You kinda started to fit in considering that everything was with bright colors but that wasn't a good thing. You head out your bedroom door and downstairs to your kitchen, you found four slices of bread and a small amount of butter but that was all.
You decided to make some toast for breakfast. After breakfast you also made an mental note that you would also go and buy some food, some that was small enough to take with you if you had to make a run for it.
You straighten out your dress and went towards the front door, you wanted to look around for a few before Wally got here but i guess you used up to much time making breakfast and getting ready that right when you went out of the kitchen and towards the front door Wally was already standing there.
"Oh would ya look at that! Your gonna fit right in with that outfit!" Wally's says with a small smile on his face.
You look at him still on edge, you didn't trust this puppet one bit considering all he's been was creepy.
Wally helds out his hand and says "shall we get going? There so much to show you today!" Wally says.
With a little hesitation you take his hand and his eyes grow bigger. He then leads you out the front door and down the yellow path towards a house with sunflowers.
It wasn't very far and when you got there Wally knocked on the door. It took a few seconds for the owner to open the door.
It wasn't much of surprise when you saw them considering that you saw blue clues brother not to long ago. The owner was another puppet but this one looked like they walked in on there parents.
He was by far the grumpiest one You've seen here. He had on a gingham vest with dark blue lapels and red buttons, over a fluffy white long-sleeve button-up shirt. He also had on a yellow, butterfly-shaped bowtie, tight-fitting dark blue pants, reddish pinkish socks, and dark blue loafers. His skin was grey and his hair was a really dark blue close to black color in his hands was a red book.
He also had a long yellow nose with some THICK unibrows and he also had red blush circles on his cheek along with small black eyes. Instead of a smile on his face like Wally has, he has a frown instead.
"ᴏʜ ʏᴏᴜ ᴍᴜꜱᴛ ʙᴇ ᴛʜᴇ ɴᴇᴡ ɴᴇɪɢʜʙᴏʀ ɪ ꜱᴀᴡ ʏᴇꜱᴛᴇʀᴅᴀʏ" he says with a neutral tone in his voice.
"Wait you saw me yesterday?" You asked confused since you didn't see him yesterday.
"𝚖𝚑𝚖 𝙸 𝚜𝚊𝚠 𝚢𝚘𝚞 𝚘𝚞𝚝𝚜𝚒𝚍𝚎 𝚝𝚊𝚕𝚔𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚝𝚘 𝚆𝚊𝚕𝚕𝚢 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝙱𝚊𝚛𝚗𝚊𝚋𝚢 𝚠𝚑𝚒𝚕𝚎 𝚒 𝚠𝚊𝚜 𝚘𝚞𝚝 𝚕𝚘𝚘𝚔𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚏𝚘𝚛 𝚋𝚞𝚝𝚝𝚎𝚛𝚏𝚕𝚢'𝚜" he said looking at Wally.
"𝙾𝚑 𝚑𝚎𝚕𝚕𝚘 𝚆𝚊𝚕𝚕𝚢" he says now standing right infront of Wally.
"Oh hello! This is the new neighbor who just moved in!" Wally says wrapping an arm around you and pulling you towards him. It was like he was kinda showing you off.
"We're on a tight schedule friend! Your the first person we have met today and we have many other's to meet as well so why don't you two introduce yourselves?" He says his eyes turning a bit smaller then usual.
"𝚟𝚎𝚛𝚢 𝚠𝚎𝚕𝚕 𝚝𝚑𝚎𝚗 𝙸'𝚖 𝙵𝚛𝚊𝚗𝚔 𝙵𝚛𝚊𝚗𝚔𝚕𝚢 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝚢𝚘𝚞?" He says holding out his hand.
"My name's Y/N" you say shaking his hand.
"𝚗𝚒𝚌𝚎 𝚝𝚘 𝚖𝚎𝚎𝚝 𝚢𝚘𝚞 𝚈/𝙽 𝚠𝚘𝚞𝚕𝚍 𝚢𝚘𝚞 𝚕𝚒𝚔𝚎 𝚝𝚘 𝚌𝚘𝚖𝚎 𝚒𝚗𝚜𝚒𝚍𝚎?" he asked you.
"Oh sure!" You say with a small smile.
Frank nods his head and opens his door letting you and Wally enter.
What you first saw when you entered was a ton of butterfly's flying around. The next thing you saw was tons of bookshelves filled with books and shelves filled with jars, you also saw some chairs here and there and a desk that had some papers on it . The walls were a dark green color and the ceiling was a brown color along with his floor.
"So you a fan of butterfly's?" You asked the obvious.
"𝚢𝚎𝚜 𝚒𝚗𝚍𝚎𝚎𝚍 𝙸 𝚊𝚖! 𝙸 𝚕𝚘𝚟𝚎 𝚛𝚎𝚜𝚎𝚊𝚛𝚌𝚑𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝚕𝚎𝚊𝚛𝚗𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚊𝚋𝚘𝚞𝚝 𝚝𝚑𝚎𝚖!" Frank says with a Cheerful tune.
"I have a question Frank why were you outside at that certain time yesterday? Were you enjoying the sunset? You asked curious on why he was out.
"𝚠𝚎𝚕𝚕 𝙸 𝚠𝚊𝚜 𝚕𝚘𝚘𝚔𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚏𝚘𝚛 𝚊 𝚜𝚙𝚎𝚌𝚒𝚏𝚒𝚌 𝚝𝚢𝚙𝚎 𝚘𝚏 𝚋𝚞𝚝𝚝𝚎𝚛𝚏𝚕𝚢 𝚝𝚑𝚊𝚝 𝚘𝚗𝚕𝚢 𝚌𝚘𝚖𝚎𝚜 𝚘𝚞𝚝 𝚍𝚞𝚛𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚊 𝚜𝚞𝚗𝚜𝚎𝚝" Frank's explains.
"So what kind of butterfly is it?" You asked.
Frank goes and grabes a book and starts flipping through it while explaining the butterfly
" 𝚝𝚑𝚒𝚜 𝚋𝚞𝚝𝚝𝚎𝚛𝚏𝚕𝚢 𝚒𝚜 𝚌𝚊𝚕𝚕𝚎𝚍 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚜𝚞𝚗𝚜𝚎𝚝 𝚋𝚞𝚝𝚝𝚎𝚛𝚏𝚕𝚢! 𝙸𝚝'𝚜 𝚑𝚊𝚜 𝚊𝚕𝚕 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚌𝚘𝚕𝚘𝚛𝚜 𝚢𝚘𝚞 𝚠𝚘𝚞𝚕𝚍 𝚜𝚎𝚎 𝚍𝚞𝚛𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚊 𝚜𝚞𝚗𝚜𝚎𝚝 𝚜𝚎𝚎?" Frank says showing you a picture of the butterfly. He then starts geeking out over the butterfly until you stopped him by asking him a question.
"Hey Frank what's your favorite butterfly?" You ask head tilted to the side.
"𝚘𝚑 𝚖𝚢 𝚏𝚊𝚟𝚘𝚛𝚒𝚝𝚎 𝚋𝚞𝚝𝚝𝚎𝚛𝚏𝚕𝚢? 𝚃𝚑𝚊𝚝'𝚜 𝚊 𝚝𝚘𝚞𝚐𝚑 𝚚𝚞𝚎𝚜𝚝𝚒𝚘𝚗.... 𝙷𝚖𝚖𝚖.. " he says head tilted to the side with a finger on his chin and a thinking face on. His face soon light ups and you could of swore there was stars in his eyes.
"𝙸 𝚠𝚘𝚞𝚕𝚍 𝚑𝚊𝚟𝚎 𝚝𝚘 𝚐𝚘 𝚠𝚒𝚝𝚑 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚘𝚛𝚊𝚗𝚐𝚎 𝚜𝚑𝚎𝚛𝚋𝚎𝚝 𝚋𝚞𝚝𝚝𝚎𝚛𝚏𝚕𝚢 𝚒𝚝 𝚑𝚊𝚜 𝚋𝚎𝚊𝚞𝚝𝚒𝚏𝚞𝚕 𝚙𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚎𝚕 𝚌𝚘𝚕𝚘𝚛𝚜! 𝙰𝚗𝚍........" Frank says with a smile on his face as he starts geeking out again.
"Well it was nice seeing you again Frank! but me and Y/N have to go we have other people to meet" Wally says cutting Frank off from his rambling.
"𝚘𝚑 𝚘𝚏𝚌𝚘𝚞𝚛𝚜𝚎! 𝚂𝚘𝚛𝚛𝚢 𝚏𝚘𝚛 𝚝𝚊𝚔𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚖𝚘𝚜𝚝 𝚘𝚏 𝚢𝚘𝚞𝚛 𝚐𝚞𝚢'𝚜 𝚝𝚒𝚖𝚎... 𝙱𝚞𝚝 𝚈/𝙽 𝚢𝚘𝚞 𝚜𝚑𝚘𝚞𝚕𝚍 𝚌𝚘𝚖𝚎 𝚜𝚝𝚘𝚙 𝚋𝚢 𝚜𝚘𝚖𝚎 𝚝𝚒𝚖𝚎! 𝚈𝚘𝚞 𝚜𝚎𝚎𝚖 𝚝𝚘 𝚋𝚎 𝚛𝚎𝚊𝚕𝚕𝚢 𝚒𝚗𝚝𝚎𝚛𝚎𝚜𝚝𝚎𝚍 𝚒𝚗 𝚋𝚞𝚝𝚝𝚎𝚛𝚏𝚕𝚢'𝚜 𝙼𝚊𝚢𝚋𝚎 𝚢𝚘𝚞 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝚖𝚎 𝚌𝚘𝚞𝚕𝚍 𝚐𝚘 𝚘𝚞𝚝 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝚌𝚊𝚝𝚌𝚑 𝚘𝚗𝚎 𝚝𝚘𝚐𝚎𝚝𝚑𝚎𝚛!" he says with a small smile on his face looking towards you.
"Well then off we go!" Wally says grabbing your arm and pulling you away from Frank.
"By Frank! I'll see you next time!" You say waving towards Frank who waves back.
"Huh what a nice guy.." you say while walking right besides Wally. Wally eyes went Smaller and he looked displeased.
"Yes yes he is indeed he is also one of the grumpiest neighbors here, but also the Smartest if you ever have a question you could always ask Frank!" He says looking away from you so you couldn't see his face.
You and Wally walk down the yellow path until you stop by another house, but this time you know who's house this belongs to.
"Oh I know who's house this belongs to! It's Barnabys right?" You say to Wally who nods.
" Indeed it is how did you know?" He asks his eyes looking right at you, he still had his smile on his face but something wasn't right.
"Well on my way over here I saw a house with dog prints and the only dog I've met was Barnaby" you explain.
"My my! What great eyes you have!" Wally says praising you.
"Thank you?" You said more in like a question.
Wally walks towards the door of Barnabys house with a big smile, he seemed more happier to be here.
He knocks at the door and you both wait. You soon hear some noise inside the house.
*CRASH!*
*BANG*
*BOOM*
"IN A MINUTE!" you heard Barnaby say before coming to the door. He looked sweaty and out of breath but when he looked at you his face brighten
"Oh its you! What's up kid top of the mornin for ya!" He says tipping his hat off to you once again.
Barnaby then looks at Wally and smiles.
"Whaddya need pal?" He asks leaning on his doorway.
"I'm showing Y/N around the neighborhood today and I believe you guy's didn't have a proper greeting" Wally says with a smile on his face.
"Yea I guess we didn't Names Barnaby B. Beagle!" He says full of pride and a bright smile on his face.
"Y/N L/N!" You say back.
"Here come in let me show you around!" He says Opening the door for you.
You walked in his home and saw a big dark blue couch and a small table in front of it. The walls were a light blue with white bones designed on it and the ceiling was a white color. The floor was a black color. There was pictures on his wall that consisted of some bones and some color balls.
His house was a bit messy and there was clothes on the ground along with different sized balls. You saw a shelf that had 7 different balls on in with different designs.
You heard footsteps near you and you turned around to see Barnaby with a smile on his face.
"Hey kid wanna see a trick?" He ask and you nod.
He grabes goes and grabes the balls off the shelf and shows them to you.
The first ball had a bone on it, the second one had butterfly, the third had a star, the fourth hade a bracelet, the fifth had a heart, the sixth had a paint brush and the last one had a cloud.
He shows you the one with the cloud on it and says. "This is my newest ball! Anyways now watch this!"
He goes in the middle of the room afn starts juggling all 7 balls.
"Woah that's so cool!" You say.
Wally chuckles at his friend with a big smile.
Barnaby then soon stops juggling and put the balls back on the shelf in the same order they were.
"Wally wanna hear about this new ball I got? It's amazing!" He asks Wally who was about to say something but Barnaby beats him to it.
"Say kid, why don't you go and look around more? We won't take long" Barnaby says looking at you who which you reply with a nod.
"Great!" Barnaby says turning back towards Wally.
You walked around his house and went to the kitchen that had a basic design but the only difference was that everything had bones on it. You were about to leave until something caught your eye.
A phone!
You went over towards where Barnaby was with Wally who looked like he wanted to leave.
"Hey Barnaby"you say which cought Barnabys attention and he turned towards you.
"Yea kid?" He replies.
could I use your phone? I don't have one at my house and I would like to call someone" you asked. You looked at Wally who's eyes were really small and he was starring at you.
"Oh of course you can! Thanks for asking!" He says with and smile and return back to Wally.
You thanked him and ran back into the kitchen and started dialing your mom's number.
It started ringing and you crossed your fingers hoping your mom would pick up.
After a few seconds you heard a click which meant someone picked up.
"Mom? Mom!? I need help I need you to come get me I'm stuck in this weird colorful town and I don't know where I am! You gotta-" you stop mid way when. A voice is heard threw the phone.
"Oh silly you! Ha ha ha!" The voice said.
"You can't leave I won't let you... You are home... This is your home" The voice said again which you replied.
"What!? Who the hell is you? What did you do to my mom!?" You asked.
"Ha ha ha.. your a funny one" the voice says.
"Y/N!? HONEY IS THAT YOU? HELP THERE THIS THING HERE! HELP-". you heard your mother in the back screaming for help but her voice soon gets cut off.
"MOM!? MOM!?" you yell.
"Run along now Y/N I'm waiting and your making me impatient" the phone hangs up on the other line and you put the phone back in it's spot. Shaken up about it you were about to go find a bathroom but when you turned around you saw Wally standing there with Barnaby next to him.
"Y/N? Are you okay? We heard you yell" Barnaby asks with his hat in his hands.
"Y-Yea i-i" you couldn't finish your sentence you were about to cry.
Wally goes over to you and starts bringing you towards the door.
"Well we must get going see you later pal!" Wally says not wanting to be here longer.
"See you later! Oh and Y/N come over sometime I'll show you more tricks!" Barnaby says with a smile on his face.
You both walk out the door and down the yellow path towards the next house and on the whole way there Wally wouldn't stop staring at you....
