Phoebe's P.O.V
"Hey, look at you on your first day of work," I said. "You even look adorable covered in Splat spew. "
"Yeah, I'm all dirty from cleaning the tubes. Jay Jay doesn't know how I do it, " Link said as he used his powers to clean the tubes. I then left him to his work.
Max's P.O.V
"Guys, I found us a new drummer. This is wolfgang, " I said as I walked in with Becca. Her sister was picking her up here instead.
"That's a weird name. What's up? I'm Oyster, " Oyster said as he shook his hand.
"And I'm Gideon. I'm kinda the heart throb of this band, " Gideon said
"Yeah, I don't think so," Becca said
"Where are you going, Becca?" Oyster asked
"To spend time with my sister, oh and look there, she is now," She said
"Hey, Bec, I'll be in the car," Emily said.
"Got it!" Becca said "Bye babe! Bye, guys!" She went to say bye to Phoebe and Link, and with that, she left, and I don't know when she will be back.
" Anyway, Wolfgang is exactly what we've been booking for." I explained." There's just one tiny catch. He's a foreign exchange student who only speaks German." Jay Jay then told us he was holding auditions for a band to play at Splatburger. I then played a song, but people threw tomatoes after me
At Home
"A band needs a new hit song, and I've got nothing." I said," Colosso, what rhymes with snot rocket
"You stink at writing songs-ocket," Dr. Colosso said. Phoebe then came in talking about her diary, so I planned to steal it. I planned on hiding in a giant teddy bear, which is what I did. She then placed it in her secret place, and now it's my turn to grab it and make a new hit song.It was our turn, and we sang our song called "Bonus toe" after we performed Link asked if I found out about his bonus toe from Phoebe so I told him yes.
Phoebe's P.O.V
Hey Link, what time are you getting off work?" I asked as i came in."I actually flushed an earring down the toilet."
"Was that before or after you flushed my trust? he asked
"What are you talking about?" I asked.
"You know what you did," he replied. "I don't think we should see each other anymore?" And with that, he left to head back to work.
In my room
"That link is such a jerk for breaking up with you," Cherry. said, "Hey, I know what will make you feel better. She then beat up the teddy bear
"Well, it won't tell me what I did wrong - so probably," I said. "I wish Becca was here,"
*Time Skip*
Max's P.O.V
I walked downstairs well and fell down the stairs. " Cherry, wait, don't go," I said
"What's up?" she asked.
"I really need to talk to you," I said as I reached the door
"Aw, max. I'm flattered, but you're my brother, and I don't think. " She started
"I'm not asking you out, and you know I have a girlfriend," I said as I took the note, and she left "Hello new hit song."
The Next Day
Phoebe was in the kitchen crying about Link, I really need to apologize to her. We were at the Splathurger about to play when Phoebe came in. I then played a song, and finally, they apologized. "Look, Phoebe, I'm really sorry I did that to you," I said
"It's okay," She said and walked away. My phone started ringing, I looked at the caller ID and saw it was Becca.
"Hey," she waved.
"Hey princess. How's it going?" I asked
"Eh, it's going fine. We just reached, and I thought I would give you a call, " She explained. "So, how's it going on your side?"
"Horrible, Splatburger was looking for a band to play, so we auditioned, but I stole Phoebes diary to make a song." I explained
"Did you apologize to her, at least?" She asked
"Yes, I did. Anyway, I miss you. When are you coming back? " I asked
"I don't know about that as yet, but hopefully soon," she replied
"Wait, are you in Metroburg?" I asked
"Who's in Metroburg?" Phoebe asked as she came by me. "Oh hey Becca,"
"Hiya Pheebs," Becca waved "Fine yes I'm in Metroburg, Emily wanted us to come here,"
"For what?" Phoebe asked
"I don't know about that as yet anyway. I gotta go, " Becca said and hung up.
"Why wouldn't she tell us she's going there?" Phoebe asked
"I don't know, but I trust her," I replied, then we left to head home.
Becca's P.O.V
I can't tell them I'm here for training from my sister and probably my father. "Em, where's Ethan?" I asked
"He's over there being a little goody two shoes," She responded.
"Oh, hey Ethan," I said. " I didn't see you there."
"Hey, sis," He waved. Emily and Ethan both have no powers, and I still wonder why, but at least Emily can fight.
"So sis, you ready for that 'training?' " Emily asked.
"I guess I am," I answered
"Ok, think fast," She said as she tackled me to the ground. "I said think fast,"
"How am I supposed to think fast if you just rushed at me?" I said, raising my voice
"Jeez, fine, we'll start slow. Have you figured out your powers? " she asked
"Yeah, I have," I replied
"Okay, so let's test them out," She said. I used my powers to create a force field, then an energy blast, and then I levitated. "That's it?"
"Oh, can also do this," I said as I used heat vision to hit something.
"Woah, watch it," Ethan said as he moved
"Oops, sorry, still learning how to aim," I said. For the rest of the day, we practiced using my powers and teaching me how to fight. I think I got the hang of it by now."Are we done yet?"
"Yes, Becca." Emily laughed as she went to her room.
"Finally," I sighed, causing Ethan to laugh at me.
"Goodnight, sis," He said and went to his room.
"Yeah, goodnight." I said.
"What's on your mind?" I heard someone say, I recognized the voice.
"I don't like lying to the Thunderman's," I said.
"It has to be done, but one day, the truth will be out," He said and walked away. Probably, my dad was right. The truth will be out soon. With that, I just went to bed tomorrow, was another day.
