Outside of the Hot Dog 'Kingdom', which was a dog house with a fence, Finn and Jake stared at the stars. Nearby, two Hot Dog Knights played in the mud beside their princess, Hot Dog Princess.
Jake pointed at the sky with a gasp. "Dude! Shooting star! Make a wish!" A small orb of light hovered slowly over the boys.
Finn chuckled. "That's not a shooting star," He grabbed the small orb and cupped it in his hands, "It's just a firefly." He gave it a small kiss while releasing it. There was a glowing stain left on his lips.
"What are you gonna wish for dude?" Finn shifted, staring Jake down.
Jake just shrugged. "Oh, you know. That something special only two bros can share." He smirked.
Finn sat up in excitement. "I think I'm wishing for the same thing!"
"You mean the...Ancient Psychic Tandem War Elephant!" Both boys shouted together with huge grins. They imagined riding the elephant as it hovered and spun around, shooting lasers out of its trunks.
Jake kicked his feet giddily. "Oh, man I wanna ride it so bad!" He squealed.
Finn hummed. "How do you even control those things?" He asked while leaning on his hands.
"You can't control it, dude. You have to let it give you control." Jake pointed to his head.
"Oh wow!" Finn smiled at the thought.
While the boys were talking about their wish, Y/n let out a small groan while sniffling. They glanced at her, worried about her. "Man, I feel bad. Carmelo hurt her ego." Jake pouted.
Finn furrowed his brows, looking away. He felt bad for her, but he also felt off about the whole ordeal. "Yeah. She wanted that second date, huh?"
Y/n turned and looked at the two, her expression was solemn but she was also annoyed. "I can hear you both. Shut your pie-eating holes." She mumbled.
A huge firework flew in the sky far off in the distance. Jake was in awe at it. "Start wishin'!" He cheered, thinking it was a star or something else he could wish on.
The firework exploded and it spelt out B.U.T.T. Finn looked at it, his expression faltering. "What the..." He murmured, his brows furrowing.
Y/n saw it and sat up. She stifled a giggle at the word before Hot Dog Princess gasped loudly.
"That's a distress flare from my other Hot Dog Knights. I sent them to rescue my other other Hot Dog Knights who got trapped in a labyrinth! Their message says..." She squinted trying to think of the code. " 'Baby... us... trouble... time....' They must be in grave danger!"
She then turned and leaned in closely. "Hot Dog Knights are slow."
All three of them turn to look at the other two knights who were still playing in the mud while making dumb noises. Y/n narrowed her eyes at them. "Yeah, that makes a lot of sense."
Finn took a small knee as he pledged to help Hot Dog Princess. "Don't worry, princess. We are on it."
Outside of the Labyrinth, Y/n looked up at the tall walls. Each wall was adorned with eyes. "Dang..." She whispered.
Finn smiled. "Whoa! Fudge, man! This place is yoga balls huge!"
"Yoga balls aren't that really huge, dude." Jake chuckled. Y/n started to giggle with him.
The boy huffed while crossing his arms. "Hey, man, I can't analyze everything that comes out of my mouth."
He walked closer to the labyrinth, just barely going through the door. Jake stepped closer and put a hand on his shoulder. "Should we like, try to cheat and stretch over the walls?" He asked.
Y/n was staring at a sign that shifted from math equations into a warning sign. "I wouldn't if I were you. This sign pretty much screams 'danger'." She hummed.
Jake pouted a bit. "Okay, well... then..." He looked around before spotting a stump. "I'll just hook my legs around this stump and stretch us through so we don't get lost. Like this, see?" He wrapped his legs around and started to use his hands to walk around.
Finn laughed at him. "You're a cool guy, Jake." He complimented him.
"Thank you."
They entered through the Labyrinth and glanced around at the different paths. "Man, there're so many passageways and stuff." He huffed.
Y/n pouted dramatically while her arms hung loosely. "It'll take us forever to find those Hot Dog Kni-...iights?" She paused her sentence before finishing it slowly. In front of her feet were four Hot Dog Knights who were cowering in fear.
The group spotted the taller heroes and they screamed. They then ran around before falling over on the ground.
"Don't eat me, man!" One of them pleaded while holding his arms up.
Jake let out a snarky laugh. "Nah, we're here to save you, guy!" He grinned.
One of the knights let out a sigh of relief while placing a hand on his chest. "Oh, thank the stars. We were lost!"
"How didn't you guys get lost?" Another questioned.
Y/n stared down at them while giving Finn a look. He too gave her a look back showing that they both were concerned about the lack of awareness they all had.
"We're just gonna follow Jake's body back." Finn pointed at the entrance where Jake's legs were stretched out.
The Knights all gasped in amazement at Jake's ability. Jake took the compliments with a smirk.
"At the center of the maze, there's a magic creature that grants wishes." One Knight spoke up.
Finn's eyes widened. "Wishes?" He muttered before turning to Jake. "Are you thinking what I'm thinking?" He smiled widely.
"Ancient Psychic Tandem War Elephant!"
"Therap- Yeah whatever that is," Y/n spoke at the same time with them before she changed her sentence. She looked away with her hands on her hips. The boys stared at her, giving her blank yet concerned glances.
Jake gave another glance before he diverted his attention away. "This is our chance!"
The knights then cheered loudly. "Hot dog!" They cheered.
Jake slid under the knights, picking them up on his back. "Hold on boys, we're gonna get us some wishes!" The knights cheered again while Jake moved around a corner. "Choo-choo!" He made a train sound which faded as he got further away.
Finn stared on before following.
It seemed like they had been walking for an hour. Jake and Finn moved their heads around while singing a small song. They stopped singing, making them chuckle.
Y/n stared at Jake worriedly. He was getting thinner while he continued to stretch out. She nudged Finn, getting his attention. She then looked between him and Jake like she wanted him to see what she was seeing. When he didn't get it, she moved her hands to show that he had gotten smaller.
Finn's eyes widened while he nodded. "Dang, Jake. Your body's getting thin!" He commented.
"Yeah, I got a nice bod!" Jake chuckled while looking back at his thinned-out body.
"Yeah, but now..." He made a small face like he was hesitating to continue speaking. "Not so nice."
Jake frowned. "Okay, well you can take your weird body issues and tuck them somewhere private." He scoffed.
Y/n made a small face. "I don't think he has body issues."
"Too bad mama, I'm going where I can take my healthy body issues... and-" Jake gasped as a large creature appeared from a pile of mud. "FIGHT A GOLEM!" He screamed.
The golem roared while punching the group. Jake dodged the attack while the Hot Dog Knights were flung off. Finn got knocked down while was Y/n flung in the air. The golem grabbed her and held her tightly in his grasp
"TRESPASSERS!" He yelled.
Finn stood up and was quick to cover the golem's eyes with his shirt. His grasp on Y/n loosened and she managed to get out. She then jumped from his hand to kick down on his arm right where a pressure point was. He went weak, which was a perfect opportunity to get him.
"Wrap 'im up, Jake!" Finn called out.
"I'm on it!" Jake started to quickly wrap himself around the golem. He began to struggle while the golem tried to move. "Stop flexing. I can't... stretch.... anymore." He stuttered while starting to strain his body more.
One of the Hot Dog Knights noticed and started to cheer for him. "You can do it, Jake! Stretch stretch stretch! Wrap him up more!"
From the encouragement he got, Jake groaned while wrapping himself quickly around the golem. He strains in agony before causing the golem to topple over.
The knights continued to cheer loudly as Jake stretched over to Finn, panting heavily. "Golem... taken care of... dudes."
Y/n pulled out a water bottle. "Catch, dude." She called before tossing it. Jake narrowly missed catching it before he took a long swig of the cooling water.
"Jake, you're amazing." One of the knights complimented him before they all jumped on his back again. Jake choked on the water when they landed on him before he handed the bottle back to Y/n.
Finn leaned down close, a worried expression on his face. "Jake, you need to take it easy on the stretching, man."
One of the knights overheard him and his face fell. "Wha... n-no Jake, you can keep going, man. Right guys?" He started to pressure the poor dog. "Come on, Jake, you can go!"
"Jake! Jake! Jake!"
The knights continued to chant for him. Jake, still exhausted, let out a sigh. "Alright. Come on, guys. The stretching train is leaving the station. Choo-choo." He weakly made a train noise before continuing.
Y/n crossed her arms before looking at Finn. He was staring worriedly at his brother. She let out a sigh. "No wonder Hot Dog Princess sends them away. They're a royal pain." She mumbled.
Jake let out a groan, his face was covered in sweat. "Just gotta... keep stretchin'." He grunted. He had gotten thinner, making his eyes pop out more than they should be.
"Uh, yeah," Finn murmured while rubbing his head. He was getting extremely worried. He stopped at a sound nearby. "Wait! Stop, Jake. Ya hear that?" He looked around, trying to find where it was.
"No."
"This place is weirding me out. Keep your eyes open for traps and junk." Finn shivered before they started to move again.
Jake gasped. "Whoa! Check that out!" He pointed at a yellow line that was strung around.
Y/n let out a hum. "Dang Jake, that's you."
Finn skipped forward and poked Jake's skin. "Boop."
Jake flinched as he felt it. "Hey, man. Watch it. I think that's my nerp, but like super stretched out." He tried to not laugh
"Boop boop. Boop boop boop boop boop." Finn continued to poke Jake's nerp making him giggle uncontrollably.
"Stop man!" Jake continued to laugh before a scorpion landed on him. It viciously stabbed his nerp with its stinger making Jake yelp in pain. "NERP!"
Y/n pulled out her retractable spear and let it go off. The spear immediately popped out and she smacked it away like a baseball bat. More tiny scorpions appeared from some holes in the labyrinth wall. They start to sting the knights repeatedly.
"Oh, my Grob!" Finn cried out while being attacked.
"It's okay, hot dogs are immune to poison." He held up a thumb while being stabbed with the stinger.
More scorpions spilled out of the holes making it nearly impossible to get away from them. "Sick!" Finn cried out.
Jake let out a grunt. "I got it!" He enlarged his hands and caught the falling scorpions before forcing them back into the hole. He then gasped in pain as the scorpions stung him repetitively.
"Jake! Jake! Jake!" The knights cheered.
The scorpions left them alone while Jake pulled back his aching hands. "I'm good, man. It's the small scorpions you gotta worry about. Or is that just with snakes?" He coughed before his stomach rumbled. "Oop, nope, wait, poison's kickin' in." He then fell with a groan.
"No Jake no!"
"Work through the pain! Let's get wishes!"
"Wishes!"
The knights continued to pressure Jake while he lay on the ground. He squinted his eyes before sighing. "Alright, you guys, hop on!" He picked the nights back up and placed them on his head. "Let's do it."
Y/n stepped forward. "Jake, stop man. It ain't worth it." She mumbled.
"Yeah, I don't think this is a good idea, man," Finn spoke up.
"I'm fine, guys. We'll have that war elephant in no time!" Jake spoke, his voice was slightly off as he struggled to move.
Finn scratched his cheek nervously. "Ah, uh, okay..." He sighed before following.
A scorpion tried to get out, but Y/n shot her head over and glared at it making the creature curl back in fear.
Jake came to a halt at a large door. "Woah!" Finn gasped. The door had a statue next to it with a sliding puzzle. It was further up and hard to reach. "Hmm, looks like the final puzzle." He glanced at Jake in worry. "You think you can stretch up there, buddy?"
Jake's eyes were now fully popped out, almost to the point where they were about to fall out. "Yes." He whispered, his voice was raspy and strained.
"Gah! What the dang, dude!" Y/n shot back at the sight. "You're eyes... they're..." She couldn't get the words out
"Huh, yeah, I just... can't close my eyes... lids... too tight." He muttered.
Finn stood in front of the puzzle, his arms up in an 'x' to keep Jake back. "Okay, dude this is too far! No more maze, we're going home."
Jake let out a small breath of air. "Yeah... I'm feeling a little thin."
Y/n scoffed. "Little? You're built like a toothpick." She commented.
"No! Don't stop! Keep stretching!" One of the knights started up.
"You stretch good!"
"Jake! Jake! Jake! Woohoo!"
Y/n covered her face while shaking her head. "Not again." She muttered bitterly.
Jake just shrugged. "Ah, alright."
Finn pressed his lips together. "Jake, no! You're gonna get hurt." He tried to reason with him, but the knights just continued to cheer. Their cheering overpowered Finn's pleas.
"I'm goin' for it!" Jake grunted while slowly stretching up to do the puzzle.
Y/n stood under the door, staring up at Jake while he moved painfully. "It ain't worth it man, don't."
Jake ignored her while grunting. His arms moved the pieces around as he solved the puzzle. "Done!" He panted while moving back down. The door, which was in the statue, opened up revealing a podium with an orange floating orb. It was further away from the group.
"Woah," Y/n murmured. (imagine the Sonic 2 dub when Eggman is in awe when seeing Shadow)
"That must be the wishes!" Finn smiled.
The other knights cheered before one of them stared at the image, completely enamored with it. "Kitty!" He cheered.
"You did it, man. Now we can go wish for a...Ancient Psychic Tandem War Elephant." The two boys did a fist bump.
Everyone walked through the gate, only leaving one knight behind.
"Gotta move carefully. My internal organs are super stretched, I'm paper thin!" Jake chuckled. Y/n was tempted to pluck his body like a guitar string.
"I love kitties!" The one knight cheered. He jumped around before climbing on the puzzle. He then jumped on the image before the puzzle fell and chattered. The statue's mouth turned to a frown as the door started to close. "I am sorry!" The knight cried out as he was left behind.
The door closed on Jake's already thin body. "Ow! Ooh!" He moaned in pain.
"JAKE!" Finn screamed, holding up his brother's head.
"My insides are all mashed up!"
Finn helped him down slowly. "I knew we should have turned back!"
Jake coughed weakly. "You were right. I pushed myself too far. I'll never fall victim to peer pressure again!"
Y/n shook her head while staring at the two. She saw one of the knights bring up his arms to chant. "Uh oh." She muttered.
"No! Jake! Jake! Jake!"
Jake lifted himself, still in pain. "Actually, I'll do anything you guys want if you say my name three times." He then laid back in agony.
Finn held what was left of Jake's head up. "Just hang tight, buddy. I'll use my wish to save you." He whispered.
"Congratulations, warriors." A voice called out. A muddy serpent appeared at the podium, which was just a tub filled with mud. "Step forward, and take your wishes." He held up a hand while gesturing for the group to get closer.
One of the knights cheered happily. "Ah! I'm gonna wish for a hat! Woohoo." He charged forward before stepping on the pressure plate. Immediately, he got splattered to pieces by a cannonball.
Y/n's mouth hung open in shock. Her jaw started to hurt from how quickly she did it. "What?!" She shrieked, her voice high-pitched. She then turned and looked at the others.
They, along with her, also screamed at the sudden death.
"Who's next?" The voice chuckled.
"Nuh-uh, that floor got traps! Jake should stretch us across" One of the knights suggested.
"Jake! Jake! Jake!"
Jake started to move slowly before coughing. "Here we go!" He then groaned.
Finn pushed Jake down quickly. "No! Jake is all jacked up." He pointed out.
One of the knights started to pout. "Then how else can we get wishes?!" He asked, crossing his arms.
Finn tried to look around for some form of inspiration, but all he saw was Jake. He sighed through his nose before opening his eyes. "Jake! Get up and carry us across!"
"Finn, he can't." Y/n tried to reason.
Jake let out a moan of pain. "But I'm too weak!" He whimpered.
Finn started to hold up his hands and started to chant Jake's name. The other two knights followed with the chant. Y/n shook her head in disbelief. The chanting grew louder before Jake shouted with determination. He wrapped his thin arms around Finn and Y/n.
Finn had the knights in his arms while Jake quickly stretched everyone over to the podium. Finn shouted his name one last time.
Jake fell over with a groan, everyone collapsed under him as they were dropped. "Yeaargh! That's it, I'm dead." He was now thinner than Finn's arm.
Y/n held his head close to her. "Jake? Buddy, it's okay. Stay with us." She cried out in worry.
"Nah."
Finn started to stutter while kneeling. "But we did it, okay! I can wish you out of here, man!"
"Oh yes, now you may each receive your wishes. For real!" The serpent let five orbs go over the four. "But be warned. There are no do-overs!"
Finn nodded while holding the orb close. "Okay, so you guys should wish to get your buddies back, right?" He asked the two knights.
"I wish for a box!" The orb disappeared and a cardboard box appeared next to him. "Sweet!"
"And I wish to blow up! I mean like get big!"
Y/n closed her eyes as she heard the knight explode. "You guys are stupider than I thought." She commented, wiping a piece of hotdog off her face.
The knight with the box slowly crawled out. "What do you mean?" He narrowed his eyes.
"Dog, you're next! What do you wish?" The serpent pointed at Jake suddenly.
"Huh?"
Finn leaned over him. "Jake! Wish for the Ancient Psychic Tandem War Elephant! Then I'll wish to save you!" He spoke happily.
"Right. So hard to think on an empty stomach." He moped while his stomach rumbled far off in the distance. "I wish I wasn't so hungry." Jake's orb disappears and a sandwich appears on top of him. He leans up to take a tiny bite before falling back.
"Dude." Y/n smacked her head.
Finn's mouth hung. "You wasted your wish, man!"
Jake groaned. "I know. You should wish for the Ancient Psychic Tandem War Elephant. It's what we wanted."
"That's crazy, man! I gotta save your life." Finn held Jake's head up.
"Do it... for... me!"
Finn put Jake's head down and slowly stood. Y/n stepped forward as well. "I wish that Jake-"
"I... wish... for... the Ancient PSYCHIC TANDEM WAR ELEPHANT!"
Finn interrupted Y/n by making his wish.
"Yes!" Jake weakly put his hands up, cheering.
"Your wish is granted." With a snap of his hand, the orb turned into a giant elephant. Finn gasped while it spun around. Lasers shot around.
"It has to give you control! Remember!" Jake reminded him.
Y/n staggered back at the large elephant. "Ding-dong that's cool!" She smiled.
"I'm on it." Finn narrows his eyes before leaping up on the elephant's leg. He climbed it before getting close to the eye. He held his head while furrowing his brows.
Y/n glanced around, confused by the scene. "What? What is happening?"
The elephant's eyes widened while staring back at Finn. The boy opened his eyes suddenly. "Now wish for my friends to be healed!"
The elephant slowly turned as an orb floated above him. "I wish... for what Finn... desires." Y/n, Jake and the Hot Dog Knights were all back together while they sat on the elephant's back.
"Yeah, boyyy!" Jake cheered, putting his arms up in the air. He was back to his normal self.
Y/n hugged him from the back. "Oh, I missed your plush self." She commented while hearing some weird noises in the maze, presumably caused by the lack of Jake being stretched around.
"No! You weren't supposed to have your wishes come true! You were supposed to die!" The serpent yelled while hitting the mud with a fist.
Finn pointed towards the sky. "Now, bust us outta here!"
The elephant nodded before flying out of the labyrinth. "No!!" The serpent cried out in defeat.
"Yeah, boyyy!" Finn chuckled as they all flew out.
Jake then turned around to face Y/n. "What 'bout you, mama? What happened with your wish?"
Y/n smiled before bringing out a small glowing orb. "I'm gonna save this for a special day. When I'll really need it."
I will say it again, I love Brianna Mazzola. Also, I made a financial decision and bought an iPad! So now I can do digital art better than before. I already drew myself as a Mount Rageon and a troll. I'm just drawing my best friend and he legit looks like Branch with a buzzcut.
