"Please have a seat Count"
My father offered the count a glass of finest blood, "From the 17th Century, pure blood of a virgin. Care to take a sip?"
Drac shook his head, while Norris sighted deep.
He placed the glass down, "I haven't touched this bottle, until now. I kept it locked till that very special day." Drac has no idea what he was talking about and kept silent. Norris stood in front of the Count with a smile, "My daughter is going to get married soon."
Dracula feels a little uneasy at this announcement, "Well Sir, we aren't...I mean...we are not..."
Norris turned his back to him, not listening to his mumbling, "She will be a fine wife for Laurence."
The lord of Darkness was in shock. Laurence, he thought, that young vampire she had talked to is her...no...it can't be. Drac stood up from his chair, "Since when was..."
"This arranged?" interrupted Norris, "Since the day of the accident. Laurence will not only make her his wife but also a vampire. This way the ancient vampire cannot hurt her anymore."
"Does she know about this?"
"No...it is better that way. It will be announced at the end of the hunt ball" Norris gave Drac a very stern look, "I hope you can keep this secret for yourself Count."
With a little hesitation, he nodded.
"You may leave."
Outside the door was Mavis, still listening to the conversation. The moment the door opened, she pretended to pass by, "Hey dad, how are you?" He...stood there...emotionless. "Dad?" Mavis got concerned. Drac looked slowly at his daughter, "She...is taken."
"Taken? Who is taken dad?"
"N/A"
"To who?"
He looked away, "I can't tell."
"Dad please tell me."
He left his daughter, walking out the hotel, "I can't Mavi...I can't."
This bothered Mavis and at the same time angered her. Who the hell was N/A married to? There was only one way to find out for her...and that is asking me in person.
Here I thought I had enough problems, another one came up.
The waitress lady from before came over, "N/A, the sauna Dragon needs his food. He stopped producing steam." I looked at her, not impressed to hear that, while I was melting away like butter. Once in the sauna I will be a puddle, I thought. Like that was the worst. It gets better. Inside were only old vampires, with only a towel wrapped around their waist. I had to stop myself from throwing up at the sight. I admire their self esteem, thinking they are still hot and sexy but come on...a pug is cute...with all their wrinkles...but not that! Everything is falling to their knees! With my eyes covered, I got around them into the back of the sauna. The dragon is also at an old age but still good enough to make steam. It was happy to see me, licking me off as a greeting. Great! My sweat was gone and now...I am covered in drool. I faked a smile, "Sweetie...you shouldn't have." With a few throws, it caught the meat and chewed it down in delight. Not five minutes later, it continued its job.
Vlad watched me pass by, "Having a good time dear?"
"Of course...it couldn't be any better!" I lied. Inside I was begging to get released from this nightmare.
