**Izuku**

Two years. Two years since I started to hurt myself.

Three years since I stopped showing joy to everyone but Mum.

Four years since I joined Aldera.

Five years since I moved to this hell hole.

Seven years since I was diagnosed quirkless.

Seven years of pain, torture, sadness, isolation.

I kicked a stone, sending it skidding across the rough pavement of the alley. It hit the wall and cracked in two, falling to the ground.

I let out a sad chuckle, "Why me.. why did it have to be me. What did I do to deserve this.. what did I do?!"

The last part came out as a choked scream.

Bakugo had put me through hell today. My chest had never fully healed from the cracked rib and he had managed to re-break the same wound. The school nurse had told me "Shoo! I have more important things to take care of.", before kicking me out of his office.

It hurt so bad.

A soft thud behind me put me on high alert.

I span around (mistake with a broken rib) and moved backwards, watching the shadows.

"Hey! I didn't mean to scare you. Sorry kid."

A small, balding man came out of the shadows in an adjoining alleyway. He had a white coat and some weirdly thick glasses on.

"N- no worries.."
I took a breath, stopping in my tracks.

"If you don't mind, would you be able to direct me to the shopping centre? I seem to have taken a wrong turning and have gotten myself lost."
The small man rubbed the back of his neck, looking up at me awkwardly.

"Oh.. it is just to the end of this alley and to the right."

"Thank you young man, here, some money for your troubles."

The man reached into his coat pocket, taking out a few coins.
He came forwards to give them to me but tripped, dropping his money over the floor.

"Oh dear lord.."

"Don't worry sir, I will pick it up for you."

"Thank you child, you are too kind."

^Yeah.. that's new to hear.^

I knelt down, picking up the coins from the floor.

I was about to stand up again to give him the coins when I heard a grunt and something hard hit me around the back of my head, knocking me out cold.

"Hey kid, you up?"

A voice came from my side, familiar in a way.

My back and head was killing me, my entire body feeling heavy.

"Ngh- my head hurts like hell."

I raised my right hand to my face, pressed down in one of my eye sockets to try and clear the stars blurring my vision.

"That would make sense seeing as I knocked you out."

"You- you what?"

I moved my hand from my face, opening my eyes and looking up to my side.

I was in a white room, a singular bed and chair, both white, in it. A glass window spread across the length of the wall infront of me, a door with bars across the top of it in the corner. A man with black hair sat on the chair beside the bed, one leg crossed over the other, fiddling with a black glove on his hand.

"I knocked you out. Do you not remember?"

I shook my head slowly, not looking away from the man for a second.

"No..? That's a shame. Do you even realise who I am, or where you are?"

I shook my head again.
I felt dumb, feeling as though I should know why I was here.

The man sighed, "I was the doctor who diagnosed you 'quirkless'."

^And.. is that a big deal..?^

I raised an eyebrow.

The man looked at me in disbelief. I mean, his eyebrows were in his hairline. Not like I can remember every tiny little thing when I was four. I was a child!

"Well I was hoping I could get this done quickly and get onto the interesting stuff. But, alas, I must tell you this first."

The man stood up and came over to me, crouching in front of me.

"You are quirkless because of me boy. You had a quirk, but I took it away from you."
He spoke in a sickly tone, pleasure creeping in.

"No.. no you didn't. I never had a quirk! I- I saw the xrays! Quirked people have a joint in their little toe, I don't have a joint!"

I pushed myself away from him, trying to fold myself up into a protective bubble.

"So, you don't believe me?"

"No I don't! You can't fake xrays, or take away quirks! Your a strange person who kidnapped me! Why would I believe anything you say?!"
My voice raised an octave or two, fear obvious in my high pitched tone.

"Your right. I can't fake xrays, however, I can change out the images. You saw an image of a actual quirkless person, not of yours~"

I shook my head, furrowing my brows. I wouldn't, I couldn't believe him!

"Wasn't it strange me injecting a numbing cream into your veins. To Numb the pain from the needle I needed to take your blood. Don't you rub on numbing cream?"

"No! Shut up! Shut up! Your lying, your a liar! I do-"

My voice cut off as the man pressed his gloved hand over my mouth, muffling my shouting.

"I injected a part of someone's blood into you. A quirk destroying personel whose blood had been taken years before. They died and we were saving it for a special someone. Someone who would be a good.. Well, that isn't what I should tell you."

The man smiled coldly, his hair falling over his face.

I pulled his hand off my mouth, pushing it away, making him stumble.

"My mum will tell the police! They will find me! Mum loves me!"

"Oh right, that's what I forgot to tell you! You no longer exist~ my quirk allows me to make things.. disappear in ways. I can make your life invisible to the human eye. I can delete every part of your pathetic life. Only the people who live here, work here, know of your where abouts, of who you are.

No one remembers you. Not even your mother."

My heart seemed to have jumped into my throat but I swallowed it before replying.

"Prove it."

"Prove it..?"
The man seemed taken aback by my request. He thought for a minute before grinning widely.

"You want me to prove that you no longer exist? Sure thing kid."

He reached into his pocket and opened it before handing it to me.

"Search your name up."

"Huh?"

"Go on. Search your name."

I did as he said, slowly typing 'Izuku Midoriya' into the Search bar. On entering it nothing came up.

"No.. no this is impossible! No quirks like this exist?! They never have!"

The man took his phone back, sliding it into his pocket.

"Your in denial kid. The reason you don't know of my quirk is because I hid away all record of me using it. And those who saw me use it just.."
He clenched his hand together then spread his fingers wide, mimicking an explosion.
"..Disappeared."

I shook my head, reaching up to grab my hair and tugging on it.

^wake up Izuku, come on. Wake up, wake up, wake up!^

"There's no waking up from this nightmare kid. It is all real."

The man stood, stretching his arms behind his back.

"You have five minutes. Put those clothes on the bed on, leave your current clothes by the chair then meet me outside."

"No.. this isn't happening. I am dreaming, I'm dreami-"

My head jolted sideways as the man's hand slapped my hard across the cheek.

"Shut the fuck up kid. Get dressed now or I will do it for you."

I nodded slowly, the sharp stinging in my cheek seeming shocking me back to reality.

This man was probably a villain. He had brought me here. He probably took the little old man aswell! Or killed him.. no. He wouldn't have killed him.. right?

The door swung open and shut with a click. I stared over at it, hands still clutching at my hair.

The entire room seemed to be pressing in on all sides around me, shrinking, becoming tighter, harder to breath.

^Stop! Stop it. This is a dream. Just do as the weird, creepy, scary man says and you will wake up.^

I let go of my hair, standing shakily and going over to the bed. White cloth covered it, tucked in neatly at the corners and sides. There wasn't a pillow on the bed, or a duvet. Just the thin sheet.
A bundle was set at the top of the bed where the pillow would be. I picked it up and looked at it.

A simple white tank top and thin white pyjama bottom-looking trousers.

I shivered as I took off my school shirt, the room was freezing. As quickly as I could I pulled on the tank top, though it didn't do much. My shoes had been removed along with my socks (for some reason), so I just slipped off my trousers and pulled on the trousers.

It felt weird, having to wear such bright clothing in such a dismal, creepy.. whatever this place was.

I kicked my clothes next to the chair before going to the door, waiting for the man to open it from the outside.

[Now. Did any of you see the hints I dropped? There is quite a lot really. And please do say if you are enjoying this. I promise it will get better if you aren't!]
