at kartik's apartment
naira's breath hitches as kartik pulls her closer his fingers gently tracing her jawline their eyes lock the unspoken desire between them growing stronger with each passing second without wasting another moment kartik cups her face and crashes his lips onto hers the kiss is slow at first filled with longing and love but soon it turns desperate needy like they're making up for all the lost time
naira: (softly between kisses) kartik
kartik doesn't reply instead he lifts her up in one swift motion making her gasp and carries her toward the couch he lays her down gently hovering over her his lips trailing down her neck leaving a burning trail of kisses
kartik: (husky voice) tumhari yaad me jee raha tha naira ab aur nahi seh sakta
naira shivers as he moves lower his lips finding the sensitive spot on her collarbone she tilts her head giving him more access as he nibbles at her skin sucking on the delicate flesh leaving behind love bites marks of his love his possession naira moans softly gripping his hair as he continues
naira: (breathlessly) kartik
kartik looks up at her his darkened eyes filled with desire he leans back up and captures her lips again this time with even more urgency naira responds with equal passion pulling him closer her hands slide under his shirt feeling his warm skin beneath her fingertips she tugs at the fabric and kartik quickly helps her remove it revealing his toned body
kartik's hands roam over her waist pulling her against him as they deepen the kiss his lips travel back to her neck his teeth grazing her skin before he leaves another love bite naira gasps her nails digging into his back
kartik: (smirking) yeh marks sirf mere hain samjhi
naira: (challenging smile) sirf tumhare lekin mujhe bhi haq hai
before kartik can respond naira flips them over straddling him she leans down pressing a teasing kiss on his chest before moving up to his neck kartik closes his eyes groaning as she sucks on his skin leaving her own love bites on him
kartik: (grinning breathless) naira
naira: (whispering against his skin) ab tum bhi sirf mere ho
kartik flips them back again pinning her beneath him as their passionate night continues
after hours of being lost in each other kartik and naira finally slow down kartik still shirtless pulls naira into his arms as they lay on the couch catching their breath he gently brushes his fingers through her hair
kartik: (softly) bhook lagi hai
naira: (smiling against his chest) thodi si
kartik reaches for his phone and orders dinner for them they sit together on the floor feeding each other laughing stealing kisses in between after dinner they cuddle up on the bed wrapped in each other's warmth and soon fall asleep in each other's arms
next morning
kartik stirs awake to the soft feeling of naira's lips against his skin he opens his eyes to find her placing small teasing kisses along his jawline and neck his smirk deepens when she suddenly bites down lightly on his shoulder marking him again
kartik: (huskily) yeh kya ho raha hai Mrs Goenka
naira: (smirking) jo kal raat ko tumne kiya tha wahi sirf badle me
kartik chuckles and flips her onto the bed hovering over her
kartik: (grinning) toh tumhe badla lena tha abhi batata hoon
naira giggles but soon their playful moment turns into another round of passionate kisses kartik pulls her closer but before things escalate again naira stops him
naira: (breathlessly) kartik mujhe jaana hoga
kartik sighs pressing one last kiss to her forehead before pulling away reluctantly
kartik: (softly) chalo main tumhe chhod deta hoon
at outside of singhania sadan
kartik's car pulls up in front of singhania sadan he turns to look at naira not wanting to let her go
kartik: (gently holding her hand) kal raat tum mere saath thi ab lag raha hai jaise phir se door ja rahi ho
naira: (smiling softly) main door nahi ja rahe kartik
kartik sighs and kisses her hand before she steps out of the car naira quickly enters the house where naksh and akshara are waiting for her they give her knowing smiles but don't say anything naira blushes and rushes inside
in goenka villa
kartik steps inside goenka villa his face unreadable as soon as he enters he finds his entire family gathered in the living room their expressions range from concern to anger manish and suwarna look furious while dadi's sharp gaze pierces through him akhilesh surekha kirti mansi luv kush and shubham stand on the side observing silently
the room is thick with tension
manish: (sternly) kahan the tum puri raat kartik aur phone kyun nahi uthaya tumne
suwarna: beta hum kitne pareshaan the tumne ek baar bhi call nahi kiya
dadi: yeh kya tareeka hai bina bataye ghar se gayab hone ka yeh koi tareeka hota hai
kartik rolls his eyes slightly shoving his hands in his pockets completely unbothered by their questioning
kartik: (calmly but coldly) mujhe kisi ko jawab dene ki zaroorat nahi hai
his tone is firm making everyone pause before anyone can react vedika steps forward concern evident on her face
vedika: (softly) kartik aap theek toh ho na then she notices the love bites on his neck and gasps yeh… yeh marks
at her words everyone's eyes follow her gaze manish's expression hardens suwarna looks confused and dadi narrows her eyes luv and kush exchange a look while kirti and akhilesh share a glance
kartik notices their reactions but remains unaffected his lips curl into a smirk as he looks directly at vedika
kartik: (rudely with disinterest) tumse matlab
vedika flinches at his harsh tone the room goes silent for a moment before manish's anger flares up
manish: (furious) kartik yeh koi tareeka hai baat karne ka hum tumse pooch rahe hain kahan the tum raat bhar
dadi: haan kittu sanskari ghar ke ladka is tarah raat bhar bahar nahi rehta
kartik lets out a sarcastic chuckle before tilting his head slightly his eyes still carrying a teasing glint
kartik: (nonchalantly) main apne ek dost ke ghar ruk gaya tha
his casual response fuels manish's anger even more
manish: (gritting his teeth) kaunsa dost
kartik: (shrugging) koi zaroori nahi hai ke har baat apse share karun Mr Manish Goenka
the way he addresses his father makes suwarna gasp slightly even akhilesh looks at kartik with concern
suwarna: (softly) beta aise kyun baat kar rahe ho tumse sirf pyaar se poocha ja raha hai
kartik scoffs slightly before stepping closer to them his jaw clenched
kartik: (mocking) pyaar aap logon ka pyaar sirf tab dikhai deta hai jab sawal jawab karna hota hai tab nahi jab sach mein zaroorat hoti hai
everyone falls silent kirti watches him with soft eyes knowing how broken he truly is from within
dadi: kittu beta hum sirf chahte hain ke tum apni zimmedariyan samjho
kartik chuckles bitterly shaking his head
kartik: (mockingly) zimmedariyan matlab woh zimmedari jo mujhe zabardasti di gayi thi
his words send an uneasy wave across the room vedika looks down while manish's patience starts thinning
manish: (firmly) kartik bas karo yeh koi tareeka nahi hai ghar walon se baat karne ka tum badal kyun gaye ho
kartik takes a deep breath his gaze turning sharp
kartik: (coldly) main badal gaya hoon ya phir mujhe badalne par majboor kar diya gaya hai
his words sting and for a moment no one knows what to say
vedika still trying to process everything steps closer again
vedika: (hesitantly) kartik aap sach batao na kya ho raha hai aap mujhe bilkul bhi pasand nahi karte aap mujhse nafrat karte ho
kartik turns his head towards her and smirks leaning in slightly
kartik: (in a low sharp tone) Tum ko abhi bhi samajh nahi aaya
vedika looks hurt her eyes filling with unshed tears but kartik doesn't care he has had enough of this forced drama
without another word he turns and walks away heading straight to his room leaving behind a shocked and family
luv and kush exchange glances their lips twitching in amusement.
luv: (whispering to kush) bhaiya ekdum savage mood me hai
kush: (chuckling) haan vedika bhabhi ke toh bure din shuru
mansi nudges them to stop but even she hides a small smile knowing that kartik is finally fighting back in his own way
kirti however looks after her brother with worry she knows he is hiding something deep something painful and she is determined to find out what it is
