Peter's POV
Today was the day. The day I asked Maisie to come to Neverland with me. I was so nervous but so excited.
I flew as fast as I possibly could, her house coming slowly into view. Her light was the only light on in the house.
I loved that she waited for me. It made me feel so special to know that she though I was worth waiting for.
As I reached her window I noticed that she was drawing. I still hadn't seen any of her sketches and I was desperate to see them.
I landed gently on her windowsill and stood with my hands on my hips; my signature pose.
I watched as she drew. She hadn't noticed me yet and I took this opportunity to see her in her natural element.
Her nose was scrunched up and she furrowed her brows in thought. She used her finger to smudge the pencil and placed the sketchbook down on her bed, admiring her finished work.
At this moment I walked quietly into the room. "Hello Maisie." I smiled.
She jumped slightly and placed her hand on her heart. "Oh, hello Peter." she smiled back at me.
I walked over to her and sat across from her on the bed. "Can I see?" I asked, hoping by some miracle that she'd say yes.
"You know what, why not?" Maisie replied. She laid down and covered her head with a pillow as I picked up her sketchbook.
I opened it to the first page and began flicking through. All of her drawings were of me...and they were impeccable.
"These are absolutely amazing!" I exclaimed. She looked at me expressionless. Slowly a smile spread across her perfect face.
"No-one has ever seen any of my drawings." She mumbled, "I always thought people would say they're terrible."
I shook my head, "If they did they'd be lying."
We sat for the next few minutes in silence, looking at each other. I spent the time to admire her. She was the most beautiful human being I 'd ever seen.
"Come with me, to Neverland." I commanded, breaking the silence.
"Sounds good." She smiled.
