Three days have passed since I had Hana. I wish I knew when I was going to be able to go home. The nurse hasn't said much to me about it all day. I miss Grandpa. I wish I didn't have to wait for him to come to me. I sigh.
Since Hana's birth, only a few people came to see her. Grandpa was the first one. He fell in love with her. Haha, I'm sure now he's wrapped around her little finger just as I am. Later Joey, Tea, Tristan, Ryou, Seto, and Mokuba came to see her. Of course we already know why the others haven't seen her yet. Don't worry guys. I promise that we're gonna find and rescue you. Despite the others not being here, they loved getting to meet my little rose flower. Tea awed and cooed. Joey awed then said he had dust in his eyes. Tristan smiled and called her cute. Ryou smiled and talked to her while she was slightly awake. Seto cracked a smile, but forced himself not to show too much emotion. Mokuba was really happy to meet her. He smiled and talked to her. It was really sweet.
While Joey was there, he updated me on what was going on. So far they've found a few leads. Also, they've been trying to contact us like they would if they were here. They believe they can track their cell phones. Which Kaiba has volunteered to do as Joey's request. Joey said it would be a faster way to find and rescue them. I smiled at the thought. I have such good friends.
Hana's fast asleep for the time being. I just fed her less than half an hour ago. Since I'm not a true woman, I can't breast feed her. But then again there are some mothers that can't even if they wanted to. I wanna hold her some more, but mostly I want to see Yami holding her in his arms. The sight would make my heart melt. I'm sure once she meets him she'll love him just as much as she loves me.
The nurse comes in, doing her routine with me. Making sure everything's okay with me and with the baby. She smiles at me and says everything's fine. "Oh, before I forget, the doctor wanted me to tell you that you can be released today." She gives a nod of her head and leaves out the door. This is great. I finally get to go home.
I wait until after lunch to call Grandpa. I waited for two reasons. One I was hungry (Lunch food isn't that bad. It's just breakfast and dinner I don't particularly like.) and two I was giving Grandpa a little extra time to wake up. Even when he gets up early in the morning, he's still tired and not completely awake. I don't want him driving still sleepy.
After making the call to grandpa I sit in wait for him. Here's how the call went. "Hello?" I hear grandpa's voice on the other line. "Hey grandpa, it's me Yugi. Guess what. They're finally letting me come home." I say excitedly without trying to disturb the baby. "Yugi? Oh Yugi my boy!" Grandpa chuckles. "That's great Yugi. I'll be there soon to pick you up. I'll bring you a change of clothes, Hana's things and her car seat." I hear the cheerfulness in his voice as he shuffles around to get ready. I tell him I'll see him soon and hang up the phone.
They eventually release me after lunch time. Something about they had to make sure everyone got their lunches and stuff. When grandpa came in, he brought everything he said he would. I changed into the clothes that were brought to me. A navy blue t shirt and khaki cargo shorts. Huh, I forgot I had these. I left the hospital gown on the towel rod. I sit on the edge of the bed and slip on my tennis shoes. I carefully help grandpa put Hana into her new car seat. I smile at her lazy sleeping state that she's in. I grab the stuff we're allowed to take home then I pick her up. Even though she's not that heavy, 6 lbs and 1 oz, the car seat is. I laugh, slightly blushing a little. Grandpa takes the other side of the handle and we walk out of the room. Finally I get to go home with my new born rose flower.
Me- Awe, she's so adorable. I'm so happy that she's finally here!
I squeal. Yugi chuckles.
Yugi- Thanks and me too.
Me- I thought she'd never get here. Wish I could update more often, but there's just not enough hours in a day sometimes.
Sighs and half smiles.
Yugi- Took us long enough just to get here.
Yugi sighs relieved.
Me- Hell yeah it did. Anyways, I hope you guys liked this chapter. Two in the same month?! Hope you guys are proud of me. Planning on doing that with the other two stories, updating twice. It won't be an all the time thing, just depends on how long each post is that I'll do it.
