Laura's Pov
Before I knew it, the plane landed. I got off and before I even had the chance to look for them, Nash, Hayes, and Sky ran over to me. I picked up Sky and hugged the guys.
"I've missed y'all so much." Sky said, "How long are you staying?"
"5 months.", "You're gonna be with me, right?"
"I have to go to my dad's house for some of the weeks." She nodded.
We went and got my luggage. We went out to the car and went to mom's. We went in the house and mom immediately hugged me.
"Hey mom. I've missed you." "You don't know how much I've missed you."
"I think I can kinda tell." She let go and said, "I'm sorry. It's just that you're my first born and you moved to the other side of the world."
"But I was always a call or text away if you needed to talk." "I know."
Nash said, "We are gonna take Laura upstairs so she can settle in. We'll be back down in like 20 minutes, okay?" She nodded and we all went upstairs.
We went in my old room and it was exactly the way I left it. I put my stuff down and said, "Nothing's changed. I thought Yall would've made it a guest room."
Hayes said, "Sometimes a few of the guys will sleep in here. Other than that. It's the same." "Y'all are the best."
Nash said, "Come to my room. I have a surprise for you." He took my hand and we went in his room. All of the guys were there.
I hugged all of them and said, "This is crazy. I can't believe all of Y'all are here." Tay said, "Nash thought that since you were always surrounded by boys back in Australia you would like to be surrounded by us here."
"Well wasn't that thoughtful of my little Nashty." I hugged Nash and said, "Thank you bubs. I needed this." I pulled out of the hug and he looked down at my hand. He pulled me out of the room and said, "Did he? Like for real? When? Why didn't you tell me?"
"Nash. Calm down. He proposed last night at dinner. He thought it would be a nice seven year anniversary gift." He hugged me and said, "My big sister is getting married."
"Keep it on the DL. I don't know how I'm going to tell the rents. I know dad won't approve. He's never liked Calum." He rested his chin on the top of my head and said, "If dad doesn't approve, I know mom will. She's always liked Cal." I nodded.
I pulled out of the hug and said, "This stays between us okay?" "I can't even tell Hayes?"
I shook my head and said, "I am going to go put it back in its box until I figure out a way to tell everyone." He nodded and I went into my room.
I went in my suitcase and grabbed the box. I took the ring off and before I put it in its box I saw there was something written on the band. "For the love of my life. Love calum"
I smiled at it and put it in the box. I put it in my bag and went back to Nash's room. I said, "So what are we gonna do?" Carter said, "Well, there is this rager tonight."
"Little Haysie boo is only 14." Tay said, "Anyone can go to a rager doll baby. He's been to one before."
I gave Hayes a look and he looked away. Shawn said, "So rager it is?" Everyone nodded. We went downstairs and Nash said, "Mom we're going to a party. We'll be home whenever. Bye."
Before she could say anything we were all out the door. It wasn't too far so we decided to walk. I jumped on Hayes's back and said, "I feel guilty for leaving right after I got there."
"You'll be here for five months. They'll get their time with you." "I guess you're right."
We got to the party and I hopped off Hayes's back. Before we went inside, I said, "Hayes, Nash don't drink too much, okay? You know mom will kill me."
They both nodded. We went inside and immediately a bunch of people recognized me. Someone screamed, "Hey look party girls here! We've missed ya!" Everyone cheered.
Tay said, "And you said this wasn't your type of stuff." I rolled my eyes and went to get a drink. Gilinsky came with me and said, "So the little angel used to be a party girl?"
"I used to sneak out all the time to go to ragers. Everyone loved that Laura. But I've matured since then." "Deep down, you're still the same."
"Maybe." I got a fireball and chugged it. He said, "See. Still my little party girl."
"The burning sensation from the fireball is the reason I chug it." He laughed at me.
He handed me a glass. I said, "What is this?"
"Cherry Vodka. It's like a Shirley temple with vodka instead of sprite." "I've had it before Jack. Remember, I was party girl."
"True." "I remember, I used to always sneak out with Calum. And sometimes Nash. But that was rare. Considering he's like 5 years younger than me."
He nodded and said, "Are you okay with Hayes being here?" "As long as he doesn't get hammered, I'm fine with it."
"Then you won't be fine with it." He pointed and I saw Hayes was already tipsy. Ugh 14 year olds can't hold their booze.
"Can I watch when you reprimand him?" I laughed and hit his arm.
"No. You will have to help me sneak him upstairs after the party without mom seeing him." "Only cause I love both of you."
At about 2am, we went back to the house. Hayes was drunk. Like to the point where he wouldn't shut up. And he could barely walk. Nash was drunk too. But nowhere close to Hayes. I taught Nash how to handle his drinks, I was hoping he would pass it along. I guess not.
We got to the house and knowing it was way past everyone's curfew but mine, I said, "Okay guys. Keep it quiet. We can not wake up mom or Sky."
Hayes said, "fuck that." I covered his mouth and said, "Hayes shut up!"
I kept my hand over his mouth and walked him upstairs to his room.
"Now. Benjamin. You need to be quiet unless you want mom figuring out." "Fuck you bitch! I'm a big boy now."
"Gilinsky help me." He came in the room and said, "Hayes shut the fuck up and go to sleep!"
Hayes said, "You don't control me! I'm 14 now! I know what I'm doing. I control myself!" Right after he said that, he passed out.
Jesus. I took his shoes and jeans off and covered him up. This kid is going to be in so much trouble tomorrow. I hugged Gilinsky and said, "Thank you."
"I didn't do much." "You helped. That's all you had to do. Go get some sleep. I'll see you in the morning."
He kissed my forehead and went to Nash's room. I went in my room and changed into spandex and a sports bra. I went in the bathroom and washed my face. I threw my hair up in a ponytail and went back in my room. Nash was laying on my bed asleep. I laid next to him and wrapped my arms around him. Soon after that I fell asleep.
