Enemies - the updated version | dm

Over 3 months have passed by, and not much has happened. Draco and I have gotten closer, as we talk to each other normally everyday now. I haven't told anyone about our kiss, as I thought that Draco wanted to keep it a second, but I still wondered if he told Blaise or Flint. Professor Umbridge is slowly controlling the school, as there is a new rule everyday now.

I was doing some homework in the Great Hall, when Draco, Blaise and Flint come rushing towards us. "So guys, Professor Umbridge is having  some group called the Inquisitorial Squad, and she's looking for students to join" Draco says as he sits on the table.

I look up at him, "Hold on, what's this for? Why is she asking students to join?"

Draco shrugs, "She thinks Potter and his friends are up to something, and obviously, I want to go against him" He mumbles.

"We already signed up, it's just you ladies that have to join" Flint says.

"I'm sorry, 'have to'?" Alexa asks.

I look back at Draco as he looks at me, "Come on Blackwood, live a little"

"I'm living perfectly fine now Draco!" I say.

He scoffs, "I mean join us, it'll be fun, we can skip our classes together," He looks at Blaise and Flint, "As a group.." He mutters.

He looks back at me, "We can stay up late, lurking in the halls, we can bust Potter and his friends out"

I sigh, "Fine, I'll do it.." I see the small smirk on Draco's face rise, "Where do I sign up?" I ask.

"Just go to Professor Umbridge's office and tell her that you want to join" Blaise says.

I nod, "Mila, lets go there now as we have a free period" Bella says.

"Alright" I say as I stand up with Bella and Alexa, before we exit the Great Hall.

After dinner, we enter the Slytherin common room with Bella and Alexa, when I see Draco and Blaise talking on the couch. I smile, "Shouldn't you two be in bed right now?"

"And doing what exactly? Sleeping?" Blaise and Draco laugh.

"Yeah, like normal people" I say.

"What's sleep again? Never heard of it" Draco says before they laugh again.

"Yeah, very funny.." I say as I fall on the couch. Bella and Alexa sit next to me, as we were surrounding the fire.

"Well? Did you guys sign up?" Blaise asks.

"Yeah, although she was surprised once she saw that Mila wanted to sign up" Alexa says.

"And why's that?" Draco asks.

I shrug, "I have no idea"

"Was she surprised in a good way, or a bad way?" Blaise asks.

"It was sort of good, I mean she was smiling but when doesn't that hideous smile wipe off?" Bella says.

I chuckle a little, "Maybe it's because I had detention with her, and she's surprised that I actually want to help, or maybe it's no big deal" I say.

"Your right, it could mean anything.." Alexa says.

We continued to talk for a while before Draco stood up, "Where are you going?" I ask.

"Professor Umbridge said I have to watch the Room of Requirement," He say, "Why? Are you going to miss me?" He smirks.

I roll my eyes, "As if, but she didn't tell us to do anything once we went though.."

"Guess I'm just just lucky" He says as he walks around the table in front of us. "Are you going to come with me Blackwood, or are you just going to sleep, like a normal person?" He asks as the common room door opens, as he stands next to it.

I look at Bella and Alexa, when they both give me an encouraging smile and nod before I turn back to Draco and stand out of my seat. "Oh, so she breaks the rules" Draco says as I walk out of the common room.

"This isn't rule breaking.." I mumble.

"Sort of is, Professor Umbridge only told myself to come, with no one else" He says as walks behind me.

"Well then you can just say I'm here to keep you company or something.." I say.

He chuckles, "Right.."

"Where did she say we had to go?" I ask.

"Just outside of the Room of Requirement, she wants us to be outside for once they exit and see us" He says.

I scoff, "Whatever she says"

We continue to walk in silence, till we we're outside of the Room of Requirement. "So what do we do now?" I ask.

"Now, we just wait.. but now.. I'd like to ask you something" He says.

I nod, "Alright, what is it?" I ask.

He stands right in front of me, as we were about 5 centimetres away from each other, "Why'd you decide to come with me?"

"What?" I mutter.

"Why did you come with me Mila? You could've said no once I asked you to come with me, so why didn't you? Why did you say yes?" He asks.

I look around for a few seconds, "I don't know, probably because I had nothing to do and I was bored"

"Oh, yeah right, you have a million things you could do, so why did you come with me?"

I stammer, "I don't know Draco, I was just bored-"

"You could've been enjoying your time with Alexa and Bella, so why did you decide to be with me?" He repeats.

I sigh, "Because.. just forget it-"

"No I'm not just going to forget it-" He says.

"Oh my god! If you really want to know, I wanted to fucking be around you Draco! I wanted to be with you! I wanted to spend my time with you! Are you happy now?" I blurt out.

He widens his eyes as he looks at me, "Yeah, now I am.." He mumbles.

I scoff, "I'm just going to go-" I say when I slowly move past him, when he grabs my arm tightly and pulls me close to him, "Draco, let go-"

"So now you know what it feels like.. Now you know what it feels like when I always want to be around you, or when I always want to stick with you.." He says. Every part of our bodies we're touching each other, except from our knees and below. Our foreheads were softly pressed onto each other, as we looked into each other's eyes.

"Hey! What's going on here?" Professor Filch says as he runs towards us. Draco and I immediately stopped touching each other, as we stood away from each other. "Did you get them?" Professor Filch asks Draco.

Draco shakes his head, before Professor Filch looks at the plain wall. Draco looks back at me when his eyes slowly fall to the ground.
