Enemies - the updated version | dm

A few weeks passed by, and not many things have happened. On exams day, Fred and George came into the Great Hall with fireworks, causing everyone to stop the exam. Turns out, they made all the rules on the wall fall down and crash. Draco and I have been spending more time together, although we still keep our relationship a secret, as I haven't exactly asked him why.

I was walking down the halls alone, when Draco came beside me, although he was also dragging Neville with him. Professor Umbridge wants us to go to her office, she caught Harry in her office, going through her things apparently" He says. I nod a little when I follow him towards her office.

"Caught this one trying to help the Weasley girl" Draco sneers as we enter her office. I stand at the back behind everyone with Draco, when I layed my head on his chest as he wrapped his arm around my waist.

I look and see Harry in a seat, as Professor Umbridge stood in front of him, "You were going to Dumbledore, weren't you?" She asks.

"No, I wasn't-"

Harry couldn't finish his sentence as she slapped him across the face. I got a little startled as sort of jumped a bit, when I felt Draco's grip on my waist tighten, as he pulled me closer to him.

It wasn't long till Snape came into her office, as he began to talk to her for a few seconds before he left. I saw Professor Umbridge hold her wand up at Harry till Hermione screamed, "Tell her Harry!"

"Tell me what?" Professor Umbridge asked.

"If you won't tell her, then I'll tell her where it is" Hermione says.

"Where what is?" She asked.

"Dumbledore's secret weapon.."

"Oh please, like there's even a weapon for Dumbledore" Draco says as we all enter the common room.

"You never know Malfoy, he could have one" Flint says.

"Whatever, I honestly couldn't care less" He mutters as he sits on the couch. Flint and Blaise sit next to him, as Bella and Alexa sit across from them. "Uhh, Draco?"

Draco's face turns to look at me, "Can I talk to you for moment?" I ask.

He stares at me for a few seconds before he stood up and walked towards my dorm with me.

We entered my dorm as I close the door behind me, "Listen Draco.. we need to talk about us.."

He nods, "Alright, so talk" He says before he takes a seat on my bed.

I sigh, "I want to know why were dating in secret, or why we can't tell anyone where we are going, or why we can't even act normal In front of everyone.." I mumble.

He groans, "Mila.. I thought you understood.."

"I do, I just want to know the reason.." I say as I walk towards him.

"I just.. I don't want anyone to know about us yet.." He mumbles.

"Okay, I understand that.. but why?" I ask.

He looks up at me, "I don't want people to judge you.." He mumbles.

"Me? What do I have to do with it?" I ask.

He sighs, "I'm pretty sure this whole school knows that I insulted you so much, I mean.. what're they going to think once they see me holding you hand as we walked down the hall? Or what're they going to think if I kissed you in the Great Hall? It just wouldn't add up.."

I chuckle a little, "Why are you laughing?" He asks.

"Because Draco, I don't care what other people think.. let them think all they like. If they think I payed you to date me, let them think that" I saw a small smile formed on his face.

"It sounds dumb, doesn't it?" He asks.

I chuckle again, "More than dumb"

"Draco, I am willing to keep this relationship a secret till your ready, okay?" I say.

He nods before he plants a soft kiss on my lips. I smile, "You don't talk to Potter anymore, do you?" He asks.

I shake my head, "Rarely, why?" I ask as he pulls me closer to him to make me sit on his lap.

"If he ever talks to you, make sure you tell me as quick as you can.. and that goes the same for Adrian" He says.

I smile, "Should I even ask why?"

"No, it's better if you don't" He smiles before he kisses me again.
