[Ice Age] Diego x Reader Book 2.

Third Person POV:

All seven mammals had continued their journey and walked until the sun had already begun to set. Crash, Eddie, Y/n and Ellie were walking in front of the boys, they were chatting and laughing as Manny, Sid and Diego cleared their way past the fallen trees.

"She's not half bad." Diego mentioned to Manny and at the same time he started a conversation between them.
"Crazy and Confused, but... sweet." Diego continued and looked up at Manny.

"So? You mean like Y/n?" Manny asked with a small grin on his face and Diego stopped and sat down on the ground.

"No, Y/n is... first of all, she's brave, beautiful, unique, stubborn and I did mentioned, beautiful." Diego said with a smile and then disappeared into his own thoughts.

"Aaw, Diego, you really like her, don't you?" Sid asked and joined the conversation.

"I don't think he likes her, Sid, I think Diego loves her." Manny said and both of the boys looked at Diego whose gaze was on you and he answered the boys question.

"You know, I think I really love her." Diego stated and a warm smile grew on his face.

"And you haven't told her yet?" Manny asked.

"I think you should, you know, we might drown at any moment." Sid pointed out.

"Wow Sid, really beautifully said." Manny said sarcastically.

"Thank you." Sid said because he didn't realize Manny's sarcasm.

"I don't know, I want to say it when it's time to, now, it just doesn't feel like it." Diego replied and they nodded.

"But, your and Ellie's thing?" Diego started and turned to look at Manny.

"What about us?" Manny asked.

"Oh, you know, two mammoths, love in the air, puw, baby mammoth and a family." Sid said and sighed to the end.

"W-What? No, no, no, no and NO. I can not." Manny argued against and became sadder.

"Why not? What is holding you back?" Diego asked and rose to his four paws again.

"My family." Manny responded sadly and sank into his own thoughts, then he continued walking and continued to lift the fallen trees out of the way.

"You can have that again, you know?" Sid said as he raised his head out of the tree stump that Manny raised.

"No, Sid, I can't." Manny said a little annoyed and was throwing the tree where Sid was.

"Aah! Okay, okay! But- but- but think about it. I mean, if you let this chance go, rightly letting your whole species go, and that's just... that's just selfish." Sid said back and Manny wasn't happy about this so he threw the tree in the air and Sid flew screaming in the air inside the tree. Then he landed on the ground and Diego walked past him.

"I think I'm starting to get through to him." Sid's echo said from inside the tree and Diego continued his journey with a small smirk on his face.

And back to you, Crash, Eddie, and Ellie, the four of you continued your journey while the opossum brothers jumped between the fallen trees and you, for your part, jumped on the stumps. Ellie, on the other hand, had a little trouble fitting through the trees.

"Ellie, do you need help?" You asked and turned to look at her because she was stuck between two fallen trees.

"No, I don't, you three can continue, I will catch you." Ellie said.

"Are you sure?" You asked.

"I am." Ellie said with a smile and you nodded and continued your journey with Crash and Eddie.
