The Force That Connects Us All {Kai x OC}

"What's that," Po questioned, pointing and looking to his left.

Everyone looked over.

Po jumped at Kai. He wrapped his arms around the bull's neck. He did the Wuxi Finger Hold on himself.

Shai could feel her heart about to give up on her. She tried to run faster, but couldn't.

"Wait," she called.

Kai whipped around to her. Both he and Po looked at her with sad eyes.

"I'm sorry, Master," Po said.

He flexed his pinkie. Bright pink petals swarmed around the two. Before Shai could get to them, the petals sank to the ground. They were gone.

Shai skidded to a stop on her knees in front of the petals. She grabbed a handful, breathing heavily - almost gasping for air. She squeezed her teary red-yellow eyes shut, bringing the petals to her chest. She winced at the sharp, sickening pain in her chest.

"Master!"
Tigress rushed to Shai's side and knelt beside her, "Master, are you alright?"

Tai Lung stood behind his sister. He shook his head.

"Five years ago, Kai tried taking her Chi," he began, causing Tigress to look over at him with wide eyes, "Shai stopped him, but jade still remains in her. It's killing her. Kai is killing her."

Tigress was about to get into a battle stance, but Shai placed a shaking hand on her arm. Tigress glanced between the Snow Leopards, confused.

"Does he speak the truth, Shai," Tigress asked.

Shai sighed and nodded, her eyes still closed. She slowly got up and turned to her brother.

"Do you remember how to do the Finger Hold?"

"Yes, but-"

Shai held out her hand, her eyes red-yellow flames of a painful determination, "Send me to the Spirit Realm."

Tai Lung's face fell in sadness; he knew he couldn't even try to change her mind. He hesitantly grabbed her finger.

"Come back, sister," he said.

Shai smiled sadly and nodded.

Tai flexed his pinkie, causing the place to light up with a blinding yellow. The pandas, Tigress and Mr. Ping shielded their eyes.

Once the light cleared, Shai Lung was gone. A stray tear rolled down her brother's face.
