Ft. NCT's Na Jaemin
There were two rules:
1. Never wander the dark streets alone at night.
2. If you see a person wearing a black leather jacket with a golden phoenix on the back, you better turn around and run, and don't even think about looking b...
So Jaemin had no regrets, trying to steer his friends back within the lines that the rules of the Phoenixes had drawn out. Sure, they weren't very happy with him but at least now their girlfriends were both part of the gang and trained to protect themselves. That wouldn't have happened if it weren't for him.
They'll thank me one day, Jaemin thought just as a knock sounded on his door.
"Come in." Jaemin called out, lowering his music. The door opened and Renjun stepped in, adjusting his leather jacket.
"I'm leaving soon." Renjun said, giving Jaemin a small smile before taking a seat on his bed. "Just wanted to say bye."
"Right." Jaemin said, spinning on his chair. Renjun was going back to China for the summer to see his sister, although Jaemin was sure that the male was definitely much more excited to see his favourite gege, Winwin. "Have a safe trip."
"Thanks." Renjun said with a chuckle. "Don't get too angry when dealing with the maknaes alone."
Jaemin's eyes widened as he realized what Renjun leaving meant. With Haechan and Jeno both moving out of their apartment to live with their girlfriends, that meant that Jaemin would be alone with Chenle and Jisung all summer.
Jaemin threw his head back with a groan, noticing the smile on Renjun's face widen.
"Do you have to go?" Jaemin whined with a pout. Renjun shrugged.
"I don't have to, but I think it would be nice if I did. Jiayi said she needed my help with something and you know her."
Jaemin sure did know Renjun's older sister. She was just exactly like Renjun, smart and a quick thinker, being one of the best medics the Phoenixes had ever had. Even Taeyong and Jeno respected her, the leader of the gang owing his life to the girl.
But Jiayi was also unpredicatable, someone that wasn't really one to follow the rules. Jaemin couldn't help but wonder if that was something the Phoenixes based in China did or if it was just Jiayi.
Renjun follows the rules though, Jaemin thought. But then again, Renjun also played a big part in Ayeon and Haechan's love story.
"Anyways, I should probably get going, my flight is soon." Renjun said, getting off Jaemin's bed. "Call me if you need anything."
"Same here." Jaemin said with a smirk. Renjun rolled his eyes.
"That phone call might be the second I land, you've been warned." Renjun said.
Jaemin got up, gave Renjun a give bro hug before opening the door, waving to his friend.
Jeno got up, the male in charge of dropping Renjun off at the airport. Haechan, Ayeon, and Soojung were joining him in dropping the male off. Jeno was lucky enough to recieve a car from his brother and mother for his birthday, and now drove that more often than his motorcycle.
Soojung gave Jaemin a small smile and Jaemin nodded his head before closing the door to his room.
He sat back down at his desk, playing his music once again so he could let his thoughts take over.
It didn't last long though as he began hearing Chenle screaming at Jisung for being a bad partner in whatever game they were playing out in the living room.
Jaemin checked the time and it had officially been half an hour since Renjun left. Jaemin already couldn't wait until Renjun came back so he didn't have to deal with the two babies alone.

I think it'll be interesting to see how jaemin falls in love without breaking the rules 😏
