Ft. NCT's Na Jaemin
There were two rules:

"You're going to regret that." Jeno mumbled as a smirk appeared on Jaemin's face.
Renjun's eyes widened, running towards the door that Jeno quickly blocked, preventing the male from leaving.
"Oh Renjunnie~" Jaemin sung, getting up to hug the poor male begging Jeno to open the door.
...
"Jaemin's an idiot." Ayeon said the second Zhilan told them what had happened, careful to leave the reason why she was so offended out. It was alright though as it seems like Jaemin's outburst was enough to convince the girls that she had a good reason to be upset. "He's a complete idiot."
"You know he's really smart, right?" Soojung said softly, defending her friend. "He gets really good marks, straight A's."
"I'm not talking about his brain, Soojung. I'm talking about his terrible ability to communicate." Ayeon said, giving the girl a look. "You can vouch for that too."
"Wait, what are you talking about?" Zhilan asked, confused.
Soojung sighed, a sign that she knew that Ayeon was right. She tapped her head. "Jaemin thinks a lot up here but what comes out of his mouth is only a small percentage of it along with a lot of filler words to make up for the rest of what he wanted to say."
Zhilan glanced at Ayeon, hoping for a better explanation.
"Jaemin basically hides the true meaning behind his words, so it's hard to tell what he's really thinking about." Ayeon explained. "But he sure has a lot of opinons."
"He's a stickler for the rules of the gang." Soojung added. "He thinks everyone should abide by them."
"He's also a health freak so your smoking triggers him. I don't know why he mentioned Jeno for that." Ayeon said with a pout.
"Well smoking is bad for you! You should try to quit." Soojung argued. Zhilan chuckled as Ayeon rolled her eyes.
"Okay, doctor."
"Hey!"
Zhilan giggled, making the two girls stop bickering, returning their attention to her.
"Anyways, I swear Jaemin has something against females." Ayeon said, crossing her arms.
"It's not girls, Ayeon. It's dating." Soojung corrected.
"Dating?" Zhilan asked. Soojung nodded.
"You know the rule about how Phoenixes can only date other Phoenixes?" Zhilan nodded. "Well let's just say he wasn't very happy when he heard about either of our relationships."
"I would have liked it more if he was more upfront about it." Ayeon added. "He just kept it to himself and tried to sabotage us."
"Sabotage is a bit harsh, don't you think?" Soojung said to them.
"Soojung, he literally did that mind manipulating thing with Jeno, convincing him that he only liked you because you had the same hair colour as his ex." Ayeon said, giving her friend a look.
"Oh, but Seolhee did have a lasting impact on him too." Soojung mentioned.
"Seolhee?"
"Yeah, Jeno's ex that died because she got in the middle of gang buisness and Jaemin couldn't save her." Ayeon told her. "But that's not an excuse."
"Jaemin's just really protective of those he loves." Soojung said, ignoring Ayeon as she smiled at Zhilan. "Trust me, I'm in all his classes and worked with him for the longest time and I still have no idea what he's thinking. He's hard to read, the hardest out of all of us."
"Okay but the point it, men are stupid." Ayeon said, making them all giggle. "Even Huang Renjun, the smartest out of all of them."
"That's debatable!" Haechan's voice called out from the kitchen, surprising them.
"I thought I told you to go to Mark's room." Ayeon said as Haechan approached them, a cheeky smile on his face.
"Yeah, but Mark is boring and I know Jaemin better than all of you." Haechan said, joining them on the couch. Zhilan met his eyes as he sat down beside Ayeon.
"I know you haven't been here for too long, but all of here really like having you around. Jaemin will warm up to eventually, it'll just take a while." Haechan reassured her.
"Thanks." Zhilan said, sipping her hot chocolate. "This means a lot."
Ayeon and Soojung smiled, giving the girl a hug.
"We're Phoenixes." Ayeon reminded her. "That means we have each other's backs. Always."
