32- The First Two Strikes

    That's right, come get us... Come on, we don't bite! Gillian inwardly smiled.

      Make it seem like we're just flailing around. Zack thought. Just like always.

      Gillian finally stopped running when she was in the forest, against a tree. Luca had seemingly trapped her. The same situation was with Sonya and Zack. Sonya was against Nous and Nouma. Zack was against Bayon.

      "Let me see your face now, will you?" Nous 'politely' asked.

     Meanwhile Luca whined and complained when Gillian revealed she was not Y/n. Gillian smiled. "Wrong! Today you're dealing with me. We'll never let you get her." She then blew a whistle, Zack and Sonya doing the same on their ends. Smoke bombs covered the entire forest area for approximately fifteen seconds.

       Lewis, who was walking down the streets casually, heard a loud boom. An explosion? Around the western woods apparently... I'm not smelling any large fires. And the outer walls of the hunting park seem totally unharmed. The mechanisms are in working order, too. Which means... It's just an uprising.

   I knew they were up to something. Bayon thought. I see... the seconds rate meat from Grand Valley grew into desperation and now... The toothless things wants to... He horrifically. How pitiful.

      Yes, these are the same rabbits as usual... Lewis thought. But the way they're doing is... He grinned excitedly. Traditional.

     Y/n and Oliver heard the tall and slender demon's footsteps. Y/n nodded determinedly at Oliver. "Let's do it." He whispered. The quickly moved across the bridge. Y/n hoped everyone would be okay.

     Everyone had a simple reason to do all of this. Freedom, revenge, hatred. It was only natural. Gillian had lost her sister while Luca toyed with her. Nigel had to watch his little sister be killed in front of him. Zack and Sandy were tormented by Nous and Nouma's freaky descriptions of them. "That one with black hair and eyes, about 14 years old" Nouma would say. "Yes, it seems fairly muscular, healthy, and strong. I want to catch it!" Nous would agree. It was terrifying for the two males. . Sonya had been protected by someone she loved.

     Everyone who was in the forest was either in the trees or behind them. Gillian had thrown something at Luca, infuriating him. He ordered for his lackeys to chase her. She appears on the branch with two sub machine guns as she peered down at them. "Eat lead." She began firing straight into the demons' vicinity. Luca wondered if it was a fluke that they knew to aim for the center eye. Suddenly, a bullet hit his cheek. Luca looked up to see Nigel.

     Luca flinched. This is no fluke!! They're clearly aiming to kill the leader... That is me! Still, they're nothing but fools! Our masks are really solid, and they won't be broken by the puny weapons in this park! I'm able to resurrect my servants, too. It's pointless to fight back. Yes, they're nothing but ignorant simpletons. Shoot as much as you want. It's all for nothing! He ordered for his servants to charge and behead the pair.

      In return, Gillian kindly shot their faces off, Nigel doing the same. Luca laughed at their helpless struggle. He grunted as he felt another bullet hit his cheek. He shrugged. They would be out of ammo soon, anyway. When he saw the sub machine guns had just a few bullets, he ordered his servants to go again. However... "They're... dead?! My servants... ALL of my servants?! WHAAAT?! (He reminds me of Naki Yamori)"

     Gillian and Nigel came down from the trees. "We were not aiming at you at all." Gillian informed. "We know. We know it all. Including the fact that your noble masks are bulletproof. And the fact that the retainers' masks have weak points."
