Enigmatic (Ray x Reader)

The four took the two newcomers over to their family. Jin and Hayato met every single member, including the Goldy Pond. Hayato grinned. No way!! Real escapees are seriously cool!

They were even able to treat the wound on my hand... That's crazy! Jin thought.

The two thanked them once again. "Thank you so much!!! You all seriously have our respect for breaking yourselves out!"

"Yeah..." Y/n said. "In other words, William Minerva is your boss and he is liberating cattle children from the plantations and building a settlement with them all."

Jin nodded. "Yes!"

"The boss is amazing!" Hayato smiled. "He's extremely smart, and is cunning, yet capable. Almost like a god. In only 6 months, he's crushed several farms, has rescued hundreds of children, and now leads them all."

    That is quite the feat. I wonder, is he really the ally we've been looking for all this time? Y/n wondered. I'm not sure where to go if not.

"Incredible..." Lannion muttered.

"Just what you'd expect from Minerva..." Thoma said. "He was the former head of the Ratri clan after all..."

"We were also saved by the boss..." Hayato said. He smiled like he was thinking back to the moment. "Everyone. He saved us all!" He pulled part of his shirt down. It revealed a branding right below his sternum.

"That mark..." Yvette said.

"So then..." Nat said. "Your boss... Minerva told you to search for us?"

"Yes!" Jin answered. "Did you receive the broadcast? After that, knowing that the shelter was going to be attacked, the boss sent us to scout for you. The boss was heart broken. He conveyed to me that he wants to help you out and needs your power as well."

"Mister Minerva..." Mark said happily.

"We heard the broadcast." Oliver said. "And right now, we're headed to the place he told us about."

"Then all is well!" Jin said. "By all means, let us guide you there to our hideaway! Our base has food, as well as places where you can rest. And that's not all. We also have medicine and treatment facilities. It's ideal for treating anyone who is injured." The images of Chris and Dominic flashed through Y/n's brain. "Let us take you all as soon as possible."

"The hideout." Gilda spoke. "It hasn't been found out by any demons or the Ratri clan, has it? Even though you've destroyed several farms already..."

"Up until this point, we haven't been attacked by the enemy." Jin said. "We have powerful allies that are protecting and supporting us." Jin explained. "It is indeed a paradise to all of us."

"And more than anything, if we have that person... if we have the boss, we're unbeatable."

Y/n was frozen. She had acted on Emma about something about them not being hopeless. Now... They were right. It made her look like a total fool. The h/c haired girl tched. It was quite the relief at the fact they had somewhere to go now, though.

"Hey, Jin." Ray said. "About how far from here is your hideaway?"

"What about the neck of the giraffe? Is it near there?" Don asked.

"Oh, you mean the lion's jaw?" Hayato asked.

"No." Jin said."That rock is just the halfway point. From there, the hideaway is about a two day walk. The exact location is unknown to all but a select few within our group."
