just wanna point out i got nothing against Jean. But he will seem like a bit of an asshole in this chapter, but we still Stan horse-face.

----Back to the fight----- Y/N POV

Jean ran towards me at full speed. I expected him to go for a similar attack but instead he tackled my leg, making me fall on my back. Other groups had gathered around to watch. I smirked and kicked in his arm that was holding me down and then kneed him in the face, giving him a small nose bleed.

Now he looked furious. While you were laughing at him he took a full power punch to your face. It burned. While your guard was down he kicked your shins which made you fall. He pinned you down on the ground. But he looked carried away and stubborn.

Before I could tell him that was enough, he started punching me repeatedly. 'Is this bitch really beating the shit out of me right now?' I thought.

As I was about to kick him off he punched my stomach so brutally, it felt like someone had stabbed me. Which is exactly what had happened.

I felt the sharp sting coarse through my whole body. I screamed.

"JEAN YOU PEICE OF SHIT!" I yelled.

I was distressed and wounded.

Jean looked down at me in disbelief, realizing what he had just done. I heard distant yells and saw blurry hands snatching Jean off me.

I could hear Eren Yelling and Screaming at Jean.

I started coughing up blood as warm hands gently held my waist and the back of my head. My eyesight went dazed and I blacked out.

-----Time skip------

Jean's POV.

I sat there still in shock, looking down at my hands... the blood... her blood. 'Shit what have I done, I never meant to get carried away.' 'I never even wanted to do the fight, I- I d-didn't want to hurt the one person I love.'

The hot tears streamed down my face.

Y/N POV

I woke up to a intense silver room, it was chilly and I felt something on your hand. I looked to the side to see Armin in a chair next to the bed.

"Y/n you're awake!" he said as he nudged over to me. He started to tear up.

"Hey I'm not dead or anything." I playfully pushed his shoulder and smiled.

"Oh I'm sorry I forgot, the commander told me that once you're rested you need to go to his office to discuss "the incident"." He said doubtfully.

Armin quietly left the room.

-----small time skip-----

I was beginning to feel a bit better so I had a shower, careful not to get too much water on my wound. But I had to admit, it would leave a pretty sick scar.

As I was about to step out of the shower, I felt paralyzed.

That same agonising pain in my chest. Like someone had ripped my heart out. It hit me like a hard slap to the face.

I had flashbacks to the nightmares.

--- flashback --- Third person POV

"y/n... wh- why would you leave?" you heard a desperate voice yell in the distance.

You felt ashamed and a wave of guilt had washed over you.

You ran towards the voice, yelling "Father I- I'm sorry!".

"NO YOUR NOT!" you heard him yell violently, which made you jump.

Blood started to appear all over your hands. I filled your palms and formed a puddle on the floor.

I stared down at my empty hands. A tear fell from my eye.

I vigorously washed my hands and face in the sink. I felt disgusting.

I punched the wall heatedly, bruising my knuckles.

Once I had pulled yourself together and changed into my clean gear, I left the room.

--- Erwin's POV ---

I heard an small knock at the door.

"Come in.", I said firmly.

Y/n walked in with her head down low. She looked exhausted and her hands were bruised.

My face softened. "sit y/n." I gestured to the chair in front of my desk.
