"It's complicated" Levi x Badass reader

As you slowly opened your eyes while your friends warmly surrounded you, you could see Levi petting his horse. He didn't look too happy. But, when did he ever? So you didn't think this was unusual. But wouldn't he want to come see me? Check if I was okay? Or was he embarrassed to be around me? It slightly annoyed you and you turned back to your friends. You talked for a bit about what happened, until that boy you saved spoke up.

"Yeah and the she completely severed the head of the titan holding me with one swipe!" He said amazed.

"Wait Y/n, did you really do that?" Armin said looking at you curiously.

Levi gave you a surprised side-glance before turning back again shortly.

"Well, yeah." you said holding the back of your neck and laughing nervously. You didn't think it was that big of a deal, but their reactions tell you that what you did wasn't as easy as you thought. You, a little embarrassed, walked over to the stables to unsaddle your horse and brush it's mane.

You were minding your business, gently stroking your horse's soft back. You felt eyes watching you from a distance but you were too tired to acknowledge it. Since everyone else was already asleep in their rooms, you tidied up and lazily walked back to your room to take an afternoon nap. But before you were about to reach the door handle a large hand grabbed your other wrist and dragged you away. You looked up from your hand to see Levi quickly taking you away. He said nothing and didn't even give you a glance. You were confused, but too tired from the mission to pull away or protest.

Once you got to his office, he directed you to go in, closing the door behind you. He was still silent and looked colder than usual but you learned not to be too surprised by this. He looked at you for a moment before gesturing to a neatly folded pile of your night clothes from the other night when you were here. He must've washed them. You still looked at him a bit conflicted.

"Put those on and go to bed." He said blankly, still genuinely uninterested.

"U- um okay." you hesitantly picked up the fresh clothes and gestured for him to turn around so you could have some privacy. He rolled his eyes and turned around, facing his bookshelves.

"Done." you had finished and neatly put your old clothes together. He leant against his desk, looking at you intimidatingly.

You felt a bit awkward and turned to leave to go back to your room.

"Where are you going?" He said tilting his head slightly, still looking serious.

"To my room." You were confused. Did he not just say to go to bed?

He continued glaring at you for a few more moments.

"You're sleeping here brat." He said plainly before standing up straight again.

"Why?" you looked over at him, still confused. Why am I sleeping here again? It's not like he has to look after me like last time. He can have a peaceful afternoon without me.

He walked up to you quickly, peering down at you. You took a few steps back, hitting your back on the wall. He got close up to your ear. You could feel his warm breathe on your face.

"Because I said so. Unless you want to go and spend the night with that four-eyed fucker who couldn't keep his eyes off you." He looked down at you annoyed.

"I saved his life, he was just being polite." you said confidently.

"tsk, if polite is grabbing your waist and staring at your ass, then yeah he was real polite." He said bothered.

"I-   . . . "

You were cut off when you felt soft, warm lips against yours. He held your face and kissed you softly for a few minutes. You were so exhausted, you were practically melting into him.

He noticed and pulled away gently. He looked down at you, a bit more calm.

"If he comes near you I'll kill him." He said smirking slightly.

"Pfft, well aren't you mature." You said sarcastically crossing your arms before yawning and rubbing your tired [e/c] eyes.

Suddenly, he pulled you into a tight, warm hug. He put his strong body around you, while softly caressing your [h/l], [h/c] hair with his gentle fingers. You were lost for words and just buried yourself into his smooth chest. Your dizziness muffled out the noise but you could hear him lightly chuckle before carefully directing you to bed. He helped you lay down comfortably, covering you with warm blankets before closing the maroon curtains to close out the afternoon sun. He blew out his relaxing lemon-scented candles and quietly crawled into bed next to you once again. You turned towards him, yawning and rubbing your face, half asleep. He looked down at you as your soft hair fell down with your slight, gentle movements.

He smiled down at you before pulling you into his tender arms. He held you as close as possible, placing one hand lightly on your head and one on your waist, while you lazily nuzzled yourself into him. He felt warm inside, gazing down at your gorgeous face resting against his chest. He admired you for a few moments before slowly falling asleep to the sound of your soft breathing. You both innocently slept all afternoon, holding each other.
