A/N: I got this idea from a comment left by Fins44 on the oneshot in this book called "3 Days Later.
3rd Person POV:
Sirius Black is a wizard.
A great wizard actually, even Professor McGonagall would agree.
However, like any person, there are certain things that tick him off. These have been understood through different instances in his life and have been noted by the other Marauders.
Below is a comprehensive list of the major things that one should never do to Sirius:
1. Never touch his hair:
It was Marauder's second year and New Year's was just a few days ago. All the students are back at Hogwarts and school would resume the next day.
The four Marauders were in the Gryffindor common room, sprawled out on the floor near the lit fireplace, conversing about Christmas and upcoming pranks. Sirius was laying his head on Remus' shoulder as the latter ran his hand through the former's hair.
Till date, the only person anyone has ever seen touch Sirius' hair is Remus. James wants to change that.
"Pads, can I touch your hair?", James asks.
"Are you Remus?", Sirius responds.
"...No"
"Then the answer is no."
Peter snorts and Remus lets out a small laugh at the utter look of indignation on James' face.
Now, Sirius has his eyes closed, a smile on his face. Smirking, James scoots closer to him and places his right hand on Sirius' hair.
Almost immediately, Sirius tenses - his eyes now wide open. He points his wand at the unwanted hand in his hair and shouts, "INCENDIO!"
Remus and Peter instantly yell "NO!" while James yelps and pulls his hand away. Sirius' eyes go even wide when he realizes he was about to set fire to James' hand.
Luckily, the spell is not cast due to Sirius doing the wrong wand movement in his sleepy stupor. The four Marauders are all heaving due to the adrenaline rush of an almost-unfortunate accident. They look at each other before bursting into laughter.
"That was almost death for you Prongs," Remus says in between laughs.
"I know right! Fried Potter," James replies.
"That's probably a delicacy somewhere," Peter adds jokingly.
"Merlin Prongs, I'm sorry about that but in my defense, I did warn you!", Sirius says, slightly out of breath.
That day, everyone learned that only Remus could ever touch Sirius' precious locks.
However, James doesn't mind because - three years later - he had another Black brother's hair to run his hand through (someone who he would love romantically, and then he would understand why Sirius only ever let Remus touch his hair).
2. Never bring up his parents:
It was their fourth year and the boys were in Transfiguration with Professor McGonagall. Sirius had come out to the other guys as gay just a month prior. Peter was instantly accepting of him, saying "That doesn't change a bloody thing."
Remus had followed and said, "Glad you could tell us. I'm bisexual by the way," so nonchalantly that the other boys didn't register it for a whole 30 seconds.
