Remus is shorter than Sirius for this one. Pastel Remus and Punk Sirius.

3rd Person POV:

"Here he is," Sirius thinks as a 5'10" man wearing a pastel green sweater walks into the coffee shop.

You see, Sirius works at a coffee shop called The Little Cacti. It is a well-paying job, which is unusual for these types of businesses, but Sirius is not complaining. The job is fun as well because his coworkers are his best friends and they are amazing.

Usually, Sirius wouldn't care about individual customers, not even regulars. However, for the past month and a half, this man, whose name is Remus (Sirius is not a stalker, he needs to write the name on his cup), has been coming in every day to buy a black coffee.

He is shorter than Sirius by 3 inches and is so cute. He is always wearing a cozy-looking pastel sweater with skinny jeans and sometimes a flower crown and honestly, Sirius can't get enough.

Sirius wears the complete opposite of that ensemble. He is, more often than not, adorned in leather jackets, ripped jeans, and black shirts. No one would call him adorable, unlike Remus, who, according to Sirius, was the sunshine in human form.

Every time Remus walked through that door, Sirius' mood immediately became better, no matter how bad a day he had. However, he had never grown the courage to talk to him properly or ask him for his number.

Today, Remus approached Sirius and said, "Hello."

"Hi, Remus. Your usual, I presume?"

"Yep. The black coffee, thanks."

"That will be £1.30."

Remus handed him the money and Sirius got to making the drink.

As Sirius handed Remus his drink, their fingers brushed, sending electric waves through Sirius' body. This has never happened to him before, he has never been so entranced by someone ever.

As usual, Remus sat down at the table in the corner, looking out the window. Slowly, he sips his coffee, grimacing while doing so. That is the reaction he has to the black coffee every time he drinks it. Sirius has seen it all the time and thinks it really weird. He wanted to ask, but he could never muster up the courage to do so.

An hour later, Remus throws his cup away and walks out of the shop, leaving Sirius alone in the store to clear the bins. As he does so, he realizes that yet again, Remus hadn't finished his black coffee. This is something that he did every time he bought the drink. Sirius didn't understand why he would buy a drink he didn't like, waste his money on it, and not finish it every single day.

A week later, Sirius had had enough of seeing Remus waste good coffee that when Remus approached the cash register, ready to order another black coffee, Sirius said, "Why do you drink that every day? You don't like it and can never finish it. Why would you pay for something you don't like?"

Remus blushed bright red and looked at his hand, twiddling his thumbs. Sirius thought he looked so cute right there, with her curly brown hair and comfy pastel sweater. He literally wanted to kiss him right there, but he controlled himself.

"Because I wa...", Remus mumbled, still looked at his hand.

"Because what?", Sirius asked, unable to hear what Remus said.

"Because I... see...."

"What are you saying?"

"Because I want to see you and make you think I'm strong!", Remus exclaims, immediately covering his mouth after speaking.

"You want to see me?", Sirius asks tentatively, surprised that the cute pastel would want to see the intimidating punk.

"Yeah..."

"Why?"

"Because I like you, and I wanted to show you that I could be strong like you." Remus turns around to leave the shop now, little tears welling up in his eyes.

Scared of losing him, Sirius says, "Wait! Why are you leaving?"

Remus faces Sirius and says, "I'm leaving because you obviously don't like me in that way. You definitely have better options than me..."

A single tear rolls down Remus' cheek and Sirius can feel his heartache. What the hell is this boy doing to me?, he thinks.

"Oh, so you already know my answer, do you?", Sirius asks. He walks towards Remus and continues saying, "Do you not think that there is even a tiny chance that I might like you too? I mean, who couldn't with your comfy pastel sweater, adorable smile and overall bubbly personality. Honestly, Remus, you have been the highlight of my day since the first time you entered the Little Cacti."

Remus wipes his tears away, looked up at Sirius and asks with a smile, "Really?"

A smile spread on Sirius' face as well as he responds, "Really."

"Well, do you want to, uh.... er...", Remus says, flushing red. He buries his face in his hands as he says, "I'm not good at this stuff Sirius!"

Sirius laughs and says, "That's fine. Remus, do you want to go on a date with me, On Sunday around 7 pm?"

"Yeah, sure!", Remus exclaims, looking up at Sirius. Remus jumps up and grabs Sirius in a hug, both of them smiling and laughing. They pull away slowly, like both of them want to do something but can't.

"Can I, uh, can I kiss you?", Sirius asks, his voice low. Remus nods in response, urging Sirius to move his face closer to Remus and connects their lips.

They instantly feel relieved, like the burden of feelings they have been caring for six months has finally been lifted. They both feel sparks fly and never want to let go. They eventually break apart for oxygen, both their faces flushed bright red, Remus' long sweater riding up to his waist.

The men have never been more content in their lives than at that moment. They felt like they owned the world, they had all the love there is.

I mean, wouldn't you feel the same if you had just kissed your soulmate?

A/N: Hey. Guys. This was a cute idea in my head, not so sure in written form.

Anyways, I hope you all are staying safe, having fun, and NOT killing your family members over the TV remote...

Bye, Potterheads and Wolfstar Lovers,
