3rd Person POV:

Sirius Black and Remus Lupin.

Everyone knows them as the Marauders. Some know them as brothers and sons, others know them as Padfoot and Moony. No matter how they are known, one thing is for certain:

Sirius Black is smitten with Remus Lupin. 

This is also true the other way around, but there have been times when Sirius' feelings have almost landed him in trouble. These times have been named (by James and Lily) as his "Gay Panic ™ moments". 

All of these moments noticeably started occurring after one single major event: Remus getting a lip piercing.

Below is a list 5 of Sirius' Iconic Gay Panic ™ moments had almost always landed him in great trouble:

1) The First Sight

When Remus came back for the Marauders' 6th Year at Hogwarts, everyone was fixated on the new, shiny metal lip piercing. James and Peter had multiple questions for him, some slightly creepy, but Sirius couldn't even get a single word out.

Sirius had always had a crush on Remus since their 1st Year, but this lip piercing really increased those feelings. His eyes couldn't leave the piercing on Remus' lip for even a minute, his heartbeat racing. 

When the four boys entered the Great Hall, Remus was busy talking about something he learned over the summer. Sirius couldn't even hear anything he was saying as he was entranced by the shiny metal.

So entranced that Sirius ended up walking right into Professor McGonagall. The collision bought him back to reality and he tried to make the situation better by saying, "Hey Minnie! How lovely to see you again!"

McGonagall simply rolled her eyes and continued on to greet the first years behind the door while the other Marauders were laughing at Sirius. 

"Oh Merlin," Sirius thinks, "Remus will be the death of me."

2) Accidental Fire

The following week, the Gryffindors were in their Transfiguration class with the Ravenclaws. McGonagall was making them review the spells they learned in 5th Year, starting with Inanimatus Conjurus, the spell to conjure an inanimate object. 

Sirius had nailed this spell last year, he even had to do it for his OWL's. However, today he just couldn't concentrate, and this may be due to the hot cute werewolf with a lip piercing sitting next to him.

"Siri, you ready?", Remus asks him.

Sirius is caught off-guard by that question but replies, "Yeah, I am."

"Ok great, try not to set the table on fire," Remus jokes making Sirius laugh as well.

Remus casts the spell and, of course, he does it perfectly. Now it was Sirius' turn. He tried to clear his head to do this spell correctly but that stupid lip piercing would not leave his mind.

"In-", Sirius starts, saying the first syllable of the spell. That is when he sees Remus, in all his greatness, licking his lip piercing. 

Sirius' brain short circuits right there and he says, "Just end me" really fast. 

This wouldn't have been that big a problem considering he said it too fast for Remus to understand anything, but he was mid-spell. Along the way, his wand decided that Sirius was trying to say "Incendio", the spell to light something on fire. So it directed the spell at the place Sirius' wand was pointing: their table.
