The sun rose around 6 AM. The whistle blew which meant it was time to wake up and head to the recreation hall for breakfast. Newkirk opened his eyes slowly. He sat up and cringed as his stomach was sensitive today. He got out of bed and leaned against Hogan's shoulder trying to wake up. "Good morning sleepy head." Hogan giggled as Newkirk playfully rolled his eyes. The two kissed and the rest finally got out of bed. The loud whistle blew again. Newkirk was excited though, as today was his favorite: Toast with strawberry Marmalade and butter. The gang walked out of the Barack into the cloudy day. "I sure hope it rains." Carter says as he smiles at the clouds. "Oh yes. Maybe we can get out of sports." The gang giggled as Kinch rolled his eyes.

They walk into the recreation hall as the smell of breakfast filled the doorway. It wasn't like any smell before. The gang ooh's at the smell, but it was different to Newkirk. Newkirk normally loved the smell of breakfast, but today to him it was awful. It was one of the worst smells he's ever smelled. Newkirk gagged and stopped at the doorway, the others stopping a few steps in front of him. "Newkirk are you okay?" Hogan said walking towards him. Newkirk pushed Hogan away quickly storming out of the hall. The gang followed behind, stopping a few steps behind Hogan. Hogan ran behind Newkirk, who was vomiting due to the smell behind the building. Newkirk stopped throwing up after a few seconds, trying to catch his breath. "Are you okay?" Hogan asked kissing Newkirk's cheek.

"Y- Yeah I think so... The smell just got to me.." Newkirk laid his head on Hogan's shoulder as the rest of the group stands with them. "I knew this would happen at some point... you have to be careful." Newkirk nodded. "I know... I'm sorry."

"Don't be sorry. Do you want me to bring something to you?" Hogan asked and looked at the rest of the group. "No thanks... I'm going back to the Barack's. Let me know if I'm needed..." Hogan sighed looking at the others. "I'm really worried... what do we do?" Hogan asked. Normally he knew in situations how to help but seeing Newkirk go inside the Barack helpless put a frown on his face. "There's nothing you can do Colonel. Just be there for him." Kinch said patting him on the back. Hogan nodded seeing Shultz go into the Barack. "Oh no. We have trouble." The gang walked into the Barack seeing Newkirk laying on his bed being asked questions by Shultz. Shultz always had a smile on his face trying to be smart when in reality he wasn't the smartest a Newkirk had his hands covering his face to try and keep the absolute nothing he ate down. "Newkirk. All prisoners are to be in the recreation hall. Kamedant's orders!" Shultz said with his heavy and loud accent. "And I told you Shultz-y I'm not feeling good!"

"But the Kamedant-"

"Oh Shultz leave him alone. Is it not allowed to be sick anymore?" Hogan asked with the others behind him. "Hogan! What is this? A party? Go back to where you need to be!" Shultz said.

The gang followed Shultz out while LeBeau lead him on with strudel. Shultz was a good maniac. Anything sweet would convince him. "I see nothing! I hear nothing!" He screamed.

Hogan walked over to Newkirks bunk and climbed up sitting next to him. Hogan used Carter's bed below him as a support. "Are you okay Newkirk?"

Newkirk nodded no. He was feeling awful. He didn't feel like himself. He was beginning to heavily feel the effects of the tiny fetus inside of him. A tear rose in his eye. How was he suppose to go on missions? There's no way Hogan would allow him to. "Hey... don't cry. I know it's hard... but this little thing-" Hogan placed his warm hand on Newkirks slightly lifted abdomen. It was the first magical moment they've had since the news. It's been so stressful the last few days due to everything that this was the amazing time they needed together. Hogan leaned down kissing his palm laying his head near Newkirk's stomach. "Soon we will feel it kicking... and it will be ours." Newkirk smiled but soon frowned. "That's just it babe... we're in a prison camp... How is this going to work? What will Klink say? Will General Bulkhalter and Major Hoffstetter come after us?"

"Babe... I would never let that happen. We will tell them when you are ready." Hogan whispered in the British boys ear. The two share a passionate kiss on the bunk. Embracing each other until the gang walked back in. They tried doing it quietly so they could giggle at the sight but Hogan knew better. "About time. What took so long?" Hogan asked while still holding Newkirk. Every once in a while Newkirk would get clingy, and stay that way for a bit. Now was one of those moments. "Message from London Colonel. The packages got to England and Düsseldorf safely. They were concerned how one of the packages was missing, from the "incident" and they think it happened at Stalag 9 as some cases went there aswell." Kinch the radio expert handed Hogan a blue slip. Hogan nodded while reading it. "Good for London. I'm glad they let us know. I was getting worried about how those supplies were going. And if they find out about Newkirk..."

"I'm sorry..." Newkirk said. "I shouldn't have done it." Hogan and the gang quickly looked at Newkirk. "Newkirk there's no such thing as hiding a pregnancy. We would've found out sooner or later, and finding out when we did gave us more time to prepare." Hogan said.

"Yeah Newkirk, we're all here for you. We all will help and stick by you. We'd never just walk away." Carter joined in. Carter isn't the smartest, but he made good points every once in a while. "Besides. Having a baby here could be fun. Loud but fun." LeBeau giggled.

"Thanks guys... I'm just worried about Klink and Shultz. The gestapo! Babies can't be here or anywhere near here what do we do about that?" Newkirk quickly sat up as far as his swollen stomach would allow him. It burned if he moved to quickly. "Don't worry about the Gestapo. I'll die first before they ever lay a hand on you two. We can tell Shultz anytime, and Klink at anytime aswell. I'm sure they'll understand." The group went down into the tunnel after a talk and they got on Kinch's radio. They began to play around with it giggling at hidden microphones around the camp. The last few days have been the most easy and stressful days of Newkirk and Hogan's life. But they were ready to walk into it together.

As a family... in a dangerous situation.
