No Longer A Game

We followed the two employees to a large lift.

So that's where the map is- we're going underground!

"Welcome to the dropship. It will take you to a corridor. There will be 12 doors, you need to each go into the one that matches your colour." Terry orders as Jane herds all eight of us into the lift. It had seats and metal boxes, and even a computer, an exact to-scale 3D version of the original dropship.

"Well, this is cool" Red says casually.

"Uh, no way, cool doesn't cut it!" Mantis exclaims

Kitty looks around in excitement, "This is... unbelievable!"

"Well, crew," I say whilst looking out of the 'window' to the endless depths of space. "Our adventure begins here"

"It's goOooOoOd to be aliiIiiIiiIive!" HackerGod sings, leaping up to sit on the smaller one of the boxes.

"Da Da Da Da Da..." Matt continues

"I love that song!" Berry exclaims

"You really should have taken the crown" Flippy smiles, seeming a little more confident than before.

"What are your favourite among us songs?" Kitty asks, "if you get it wrong I swear I'm going to murder you"

"I really love loads of them to be honest. If I have to choose? So suspicious" I declare

"Cool" Red nods, mine is saw you vent!"

"I like 'killer on the floor" Matt comments

"I don't think I've heard that one?" I say

"Come on, it's great!" He exclaims, beginning to sing the chorus:

"There's a killer, there's a killer, there's a killer on the floor
There's a killer on the floor
But who could be the one we're looki-"

Kitty interrupts "NONONO YOU ALL HAVE BAD TASTE! AMBUSH IS THE BEST!" she insists

"Oh we should have all dressed up as AUL characters!" Mantis laughs.

"Well maybe we can see if we can do two rounds?" Red suggests.

"Yesyesyesssss!" Berry exclaims whilst jumping up and down like an overjoyed child at a birthday party.

"Just a sec, can we go over names again?" Flippy quietly asks

"Yeah" Red nods. "I'm Red"

"Well duh, I thought you were Blue! By the way, I'm Purple!" HackerGod jokes

"My name is Lucky" I declare

Orange is the next to speak up, "I'm Mantis"

"HackerGod" Cyan tells everyone,

"I'm Flippy" Green says,

"Kitty" Lime declares,

"Matt" Blue yawns,

"Berry" Yellow says.

"Okay, I think I got that" Flippy nods.

All of a sudden, the lift pings and the doors open.

"So, see ya" Mantis says

"Yeah" I agree.

"Good luck guys" Matt says before disappearing into the blue door.

HackerGod makes one last joke before going through the cyan door, "if you kill me then I'm totally haunting you for the rest of the game"'

I step through the white door, which closes as soon as I'm inside. A cloud fills the room, reminding me of the decontamination rooms on Polus, and then the familiar game sound plays as the tiny room fills with a pale blue light and a hologram of the word "crewmate" floats in front of me.

So, let's get this game started!
