The hologram and white 'decontamination' cloud disappear, and I see a shelf with multiple things on it. I already had my card, here are the tablets we were told about, and even more clothing options. Ooh, and what's this..? It looks like a mini crewmate! How do they work? Are they robotic maybe? There were other pets as well, however the crewmate was definitely the cutest!

I bend down to get a closer look at it, then all of a sudden it stands up, stepping towards me. It's soooOooOoo adorable! It must be some sort of robot, but it looks exactly like the mini crewmates in among us (3D though, obviously) and it follows me around!

A few seconds later, the other door opens, and I step into a room that I immediately recognise as the cafeteria, 12 doors all lined up against the wall that's supposed to be windows in the game.

Once all 8 of us have gotten through, the doors simultaneously shut and then they seem to disappear altogether, replaced by the familiar windows, endless space with billions of stars scattered throughout it. Now this is why I love space.

The lights were all green, meaning that it was break time. I guess that was just so we could get used to the room. Our visors were all up, I gather that they were automated and would close when the game started. So, for now, we could talk to each other.

"Hey, you got a mini crewmate too!" Red calls, indicating down to her own companion.

"Kitty does as well" I laugh.

Kitty grinned mischievously as she laughed "We're the mini crewmate squad!"

Matt also had a pet, a little robot that made little beeping noises every now and then.

"Why are you calling yours?" Matt asks, catching me off guard. I hadn't thought about that yet.

On the other hand, Kitty clearly had. "Cat" she smiled down at the tiny lime crewmate.

"Kitty Cat" HackerGod laughed.

Red thought carefully before deciding on the name "Apple" for her mini crewmate.

"That's so cute!" Berry exclaimed, "what about you, Lucky?"

"I think... Cloud" I finally declare.

"Cool" Matt nods. "I really have no clue for mine!"

Before any of us could even respond, the lights flashed three times before turning back to normal, and our visors shut. My tablet seemed to flicker to life, coming up with my task bar.

The game had started.
