(End of long past summary.)
"Sure, Emma. Y/n. What's your wish? However, I'll request a reward as well."
Minerva's pen never talked about that. But Minvera never made it here anyway, did he? With such simplemindedness... he does seem like a kid. An existence of a higher dimension that has transcended time and space. Who, at one time, divided the human and demon worlds. What's he thinking of? What does he want? Reading him is far out of my skills... That's saying a lot... Almost like some fickle god. Y/n thought.
"The rewards hm..... it would have to be something important. Their ambition. Their desire. What they long for. What I would want is something that is important to the other party. Will you make a wish despite that? What do you wish for?"
Y/n thought back to the three rules her and her siblings discovered. They were rules that consisted of making a new promise. 1. Promises with him cannot be overwritten. 2. Promises made with him cannot be broken. 3. You absolutely must not refuse his reward.
"Our wish is..." Emma spoke. "...all cattle children to cross over to the human world."
"After that..." Y/n continued. "... Passing between worlds will be completely impossible."
The three had a stare down. Y/n's nervousness crept through her body as silence continued. If he didn't accept it, they had no other plan. All bets were-
"I will grant that wish. The reward I want is..." He pointed at them. "Your family." Y/n was a bit taken aback. "Your family is more important to you two. That boy is quite special to you, Y/n... So I want your family."
"Does that mean you want to eat our family?" Emma questioned.
"No." He answered. "I can't kill you or your family, and I don't intend to. Don't worry. All of the children can live and go to the human world."
"Then..?" Emma said.
What did he really mean, then? Y/n tensely wondered to herself.
"Really, I was thinking of taking both of your memories for myself." Y/n's fist clenched nervously at that. Her breathing became unsteady as uncertainty flooded her system. "However... That does not give me much in return for such a big fee. Nor is it long-term. In addition, it does not really benefit either of us. You both value family. Ideals. Morals. Freedom. You both will be separated from your family. I happen to like watching things like these. Mystery. Cliffhangers. Outstanding brain games. You provide amusement and brains. I will watch. Try and find your family."
Y/n gaped. Emma gasped. I can't believe it. Y/n muttered to herself. Our memories are spared. Although we'll be in a strange new world, we're clever. We'll be back with each other in no time. Especially if the human world has some high technology communicating devices or such. I can't believe he is giving us such an amazing deal. I expected the lives of Emma and I or something. Ah. I'm so grateful. He didn't even request about-
"Ah. One more thing." He spoke again. "About that black-haired boy..." Y/n flinched at the mention of him as well as him pointing at her. "Perhaps I could make you just forget him..." Y/n's eyes widened as her breath hitched. "That would be quite a thing to watch." He remained silent while seemingly pondering his choices. He shrugged. He pointed at her again. "If and when you go through to the world of the humans, you will not see him until you figure out the riddle. You must do that of your own brains. If you seek assistance during your time in the demon world to obtain it, you will never see him. again once you reach the human world. If you take more than eight months to solve it, you will lose your memories of him. If you take a year to solve it, you will forget the rest of your family."
