I was also shoved into a huge ass water slide by my father who knew I didn't like heights. It was one of the scariest experiences of my life without the exceptions of the Decepticon battles of course, but still. Being in a clear tube while jetting through an open aquarium only raised my anxiety levels. I saw two sharks right beside my face; two fucking sharks! There was never once a scream of excitement as I barrelled through the water. That was the first and last time I ever did that.

My favorite part of the trip just had to be relaxing on the beaches which by the way were the most elegant beaches I had ever seen. The water was so clear and so blue, even bluer than an Autobot's optics and I never once thought a color like that existed, but I didn't complain about it. It was very relaxing, very tranquil and it was also where I spent most of my time. 

I was more than upset that we had to leave though. If I could, I would move down there, but there was the lack of money issue. I mean, I had money, but I just didn't have enough to support myself down there. I honestly couldn't believe I was saying this, but it was time for me to get a new job.

At the moment, I was sitting in the front seat of Ironhide's cabin. Adalyn had gone with William, while Mikaela had gone back to California. Leo was in New Mexio visiting his family before he had to return to school, so it was just Hide and I. Truth be told, I missed this damn Topkick so much while I was away. I knew that his holoform had been with me, but having all of him with me made me incredibly happy. I had been hugging his front seat for the past ten minutes and the only response that I received from it was a very strange look.

"I've missed you, Hide," I chirped. 

"I've been with you this whole time, Azalea," he chuckled as he drove down the crowded streets of Washington. 

I smiled. "I know that. But I've missed my Cybertronian you."

"You're a mess," he responded playfully as he pulled into my apartment complex's parking garage. His holoform got out almost immediately and I followed his actions shortly. Hide stood at the tail end of his alt-form and held his hand out to me. I smiled, but instead of taking his hand, I jumped onto his back. I was feeling exceptionally playful today and I had no clue why. 

"You're really warm. You know that?" 

He grunted and began walking towards the elevator. "I believe you've informed me of it at least once or twice."

"Maybe I should tell you more often," I mused as I laid my head down on his shoulder. He just shook his head in amusement and stepped onto the elevator.

"Your favorite Prime and your beloved medic have returned from Chicago," he informed me. 

I perked up at the sound of this. I hadn't seen Optimus or Ratchet in over a month and I missed them. Tomorrow I would definitely be making a trip to the base.

"Can we go see them tomorrow?" I inquired as he stepped off of the elevator and onto my floor. 

"I had intended to head down to the base tomorrow anyways. You're more than welcome to accompany me," he said. He unlocked my apartment door and stepped in. I jumped off of his back and tossed my purse to the floor; Ironhide had informed me he would bring our bags in later. 

"How early?" I asked him. 

"It may be best if you just drive yourself," he chuckled. I just smiled and hugged him. "You seem slightly different in regards to your moods and such. It worries me. Is it that time again?" 

I chuckled. "Not yet." Come to think of it, my last period ended during the time I had temporarily broken up with Ironhide. I hadn't had one since then. 

"Hm," was all that he responded with. 

"Who cares about that though? I know I don't. But, what I do care about is you," I smiled as I pulled away from him.

He looked down at me, a smirk playing on the corner of his lips. He said nothing and instead, he kissed me passionately on the lips. I pulled him as close to me as I possibly could. He pinned me up against the wall and very quickly ripped my shirt off. I chuckled into the kiss; it looked like I was going to have to teach him a little something about pulling my clothing over my head. He's already had to replace about three of my shirts.

"I love you so much, Azalea," Hide whispered into the kiss. By now I had removed his shirt, and I have to say that for nothing but a smaller, synthetic form of his true self, he looked incredibly breathtaking without it on. 

"And I love you more than you know." With that last response, he scooped me up into his arms and whisked me up the stairs, never once breaking the kiss.
