Song is Believer by Imagine Dragons.
I need some advice. How do you prank a toxic person (a minor btw) to get her to break up with your brother (also a minor) from four hundred miles away? I have thought about telling her about a fake secret admirer, but she would probably see through it. Any ideas?
I do not believe that I have done this type of imagine before. Another thing that I am trying out is having no dialogue. We'll see how this goes. These two will have more of a brother-sister relationship btw. I hope y'all enjoy this!!
Ellie's POVMy name is Ellie Rogers, and I have been mute ever since I was born. I have no vocal cords. This caused my family to shun me a bit, but I got through it. School was worse, though. Nobody wants to be friends with the shy kid who can't talk. The only one who dared approach me was a boy a year younger than me. His name was Rafael. Although he was a year younger, he was ahead in school, and so we often saw each other in class. He even learned sign language so that we could communicate better! It also helped that we were generally picked on by the same group of bullies.
Still, there were some differences between us. While he was really into technology, I wanted to eventually become a nurse. I wanted to try and help people the way that I had always wanted to be helped.
The years passed, and Raf and I were still the best of friends. And then, one day, my thirteenth birthday to be exact, the most amazing thing happened. Raf had taken me to the drainage pipes to show off the remote control car that he had built, and just spend some time with me. He had given me a beautiful charm bracelet with various nurse-related charms on it. It was lovely. Anyways, we ran into some strange robots that evening, who decided that the pipes were a good place to host a battle. We ran into Jack Darby, a boy a few years older than myself, and he helped us get away. One of the bots was incredibly adorable, with black and yellow paint, and huge blue eyes. He stopped us from getting grabbed as we were being chased.
After we left, Raf and I ran home, determined to talk more about what we had seen tomorrow. Early the next morning, we met at our usual bus stop, and talked (using sign language) while we waited for the bus. Neither of us could figure out exactly what we had seen, but we both had the feeling that we hadn't heard the end of it.
After school, we ran into Jack, who basically told us to forget about what happened. I doubted that I ever could. Right after that, the black and yellow car showed up, and, according to Raf, told us to get in. I knew that Raf was into things like Morse Code, which is kind of what sounded like the bot was using to speak. I did hear some of the other bots speak English though, so maybe this one has a problem with his voice-box or something. I could relate.
After driving a long way, we ran into a cliff. Correction, we almost ran into a cliff. A door opened in the rock at the last second, and we drove through. I was feeling pretty good about this situation, but I couldn't be sure of anything yet. After we officially met the Autobots, guardians were assigned. I, of course, was the difficult one. There were two bots who did not have a new charge, but one was the leader, and the other almost never left the base. It was eventually decided that Bumblebee, the yellow and black bot, would just have two charges. I was fine with this. Raf and I only lived a block away from each other anyways. I didn't want them to go out of their way for a mute girl.
Before I knew it, Bee, as he told us to call him, was driving us home. Raf had been kind enough to explain my situation to the bots, and they were surprisingly sympathetic. Thankfully, they didn't pity me. I also learned that Bee's voice had been damaged in battle, and I expressed my condolences to him. He beeped back to me that it was okay.
I went to sleep that night excited for what the next day might bring. I had already told my parents that I had joined a science fiction club, and although they didn't really express their happiness that I had finally found a group of friends (they never did), they didn't object to it either. I was very thankful for that.
The next day, Bee picked Raf and I both up, and took us to school. He also picked us up after school, and took up to base. I was having a bad day, because the teasing about my lack of a voice had been worse than usual. I figured out how to work the elevator to go up top, and sat there for awhile. I was not expecting to be joined by my guardian. He asked me if I was alright. I signed to him what happened at school. Bee had been able to download sign language so that he could understand me. He gave me a sympathetic pat on the head with his finger.
He them communicated the kindest words that I have ever heard. He told me that it didn't make any difference whether I could speak or not. I was still a person, and didn't deserve to be treated badly for something outside of my control. He also told me that he would protect me. Always. I leaned against his leg happily. Maybe I finally found someone who would care for me no matter what.
Well then, that's done! And here is another imagine for my lovely readers! The 45th to be exact. Just five more, and then I'm there! I hope y'all enjoyed this!
