3rd Person POV
"Shockwave! I have a new project for you," Megatron, the leader of the Decepticons, commanded. "I will have a human fetched, so that we may better study their race for our advantage. It will also help us against the Autobots!"
"Yes, Lord Megatron. Their species will truly make a fascinating case for study," the mad scientist replied. Megatron grinned.
"Knockout! Go, and get me a human! I don't care how, as long as you do not kill it! We need it for research after all," he commanded with a sly grin.
"As you wish, Lord Megatron," Knockout said, with a flourish.
Soundwave opened a Groundbridge close to a small human town, and Knockout drove through.
Y/N's POV
I trudged home painfully after a long day after school, pulling my beanie tighter around my head. I was diagnosed with brain cancer about two years ago, and I had a very short time to live. Suddenly, a car wizzed by me so fast, I barely realized it was there before it was gone. I shook my head and continued on. Thankfully, I didn't live very far from the school, as I doubted I would make it home otherwise. I was an orphan, and lived with my Uncle. My parents had died in a plane crash. Unfortunately, my uncle didn't care much that I was sick, and refused to pay for my treatment. If he had done so, I might have lasted longer, but there is nothing I can do about that now. I almost didn't notice when I turned to my street, only to get the shock of my life. A huge red giant with glowing red eyes was scowling at a kid, who I could tell by the way he dressed was one of those teenagers who liked to get into trouble. My gasp turned both heads, and the kid took the opportunity to book it out of there. The strange robot yelled at his retreating form, before turning to me.
"I guess you'll have to do, fleshling!" he scowled at me. I finally snapped out of it and tried to run. Unfortunately, I couldn't run very far before I was caught, as one of his strides equaled about twenty of mine. The situation slightly reminded of that part in my favorite series, the Lord of the Rings, where Pippin is running from Treebeard, and gets caught almost immediately. Except, I wasn't in a forest, and I somehow doubted that this metal giant was as friendly as Treebeard was. After the strange metal giant picked me up, he threw me into the air, and then freaking turned into a car, and strapped me tight in the passenger seat.
"Hey! Let me go!" I yelled. I proceeded to kick at his dash, and damage anything that I could.
"Hey! Watch it!" He yelled, tightening the seatbelt to where I couldn't breathe. I gasped, trying to pull the seatbelt away. After a minute, and I was seeing spots, he finally released it, letting me gasp in air. For the average person in this situation, they probably wouldn't have as much trouble, but I was dying from cancer, so that made everything harder.
"Weakling," he scoffed at me. I scowled at him, but was too exhausted to reply. Even doing simple things like breathing and beating up the inside of the car that kidnapped me took out most of my energy. Once we were a ways from the town where I lived, my kidnapper called for something called a "bridge", and a strange green and blue vortex opened up in front of us. I gasped, frightened, but my kidnapper merely sped up until we went through. We emerged on what looked like a huge ship of some sort. I gaped at the huge bots that were there. Most were just minding their own business (a lot of them looked the same, kind of like those clones in Star Wars). I almost immediately noticed the huge gunmetal gray bot facing away from us with his hands clasped behind his back.
"Lord Megatron, I have retuned with a human, as you requested," my kidnapper announced, causing many heads to turn towards us, including the gunmetal grey bot's. He was even more frightening from the front. He had sharp teeth, eerie purple eyes, and an evil grin on his face.
"Excellent, Knockout! Now, take the pest to Shockwave for study. He can do what he likes with it." this "Lord Megatron" said. I frowned. So they wanted to study me? Well, too bad for them.
"Well, you're gonna have to find another human then," I mused, not realizing I said that aloud.
"Oh? And why would that be?" Megatron smirked. I blinked, and then replied.
"Because I only have days to live," I tapped my temple. "I have severe brain cancer. Even without this added stress, I will be dead by the end of next week. With the added stress, and most likely whatever additional experiments you perform on me, I probably only have till the end of the week, tops."
A stunned silence filled the room.
"Dreadwing! You will take the human to Shockwave instead. Knockout, I would like to have a word with you." Megatron commanded. I was transferred to a huge blue and yellow bot, who left the room, and walked down the halls with purposeful steps.
"So, what are you guys anyways?" I asked. I might as well know what I'm dealing with before I die. Dreadwing looked at me.
"We are Cybertronians from the planet Cybertron. Our planet was destroyed during a war, and it found its way here. I am a part of the Decepticons, fighting against the Autobots," he explained. I nodded.
"So, what is your role on this ship?" I asked him.
"I am the Second in Command," Dreadwing replied. I gave an acknowledging hum, and then gasped delightedly. We had just passed one of the few windows of the Nemesis, Dreadwing said the ship was called. A group of jets were flying in formation. I gave them a longing look. I had never flown before, but I had always wanted to. It was one of the top things on the bucket list I had, that I'll most likely never finish thanks to me getting myself captured by giant robot aliens. Dreadwing must have seen my longing look, because he asked me about it.
"I've always wanted to know what it's like to fly," I told him. "Although, I'll probably never get the chance." I said sadly. Dreadwing grunted, but didn't reply. His face was unreadable. We were both silent for the rest of the journey to Shockwave's lab. The lab was empty save for one mech when we got there. He was bulky, and only had one creepy eye. He also had a cannon for an arm. He glanced at us.
"Put the human in here." I was deposited inside of a large glass container. Dreadwing then left without a word. The cyclops, whom I assumed was Shockwave, turned to me.
"Now, I will study your anatomy as I please, it would be logical for you not to resist, as it will do nothing to help you." He said. Thus began a long and painful afternoon of endless tests and samples. He made me explain my disease in as much detail as I could. Unfortunately, I didn't know much, as I was only able to go to the doctor a couple of times. I didn't have the money to go more. I really hoped the rest of my life would not be like this. After what seemed like weeks, I heard the now-familiar heavy steps of Commander Dreadwing. Dreadwing said he had been ordered to put me in a cell for the night. I lay exhausted in his hand, as he presumably walked towards the brig. Once we got there, he left me in a cell, after warning me of the electrical bars should I ever try to escape. Thankfully, he didn't chain me up, although it wouldn't have mattered. I was too tired to move. I could feel it in my body. My end was rapidly approaching. I gave myself two or three days, tops. Maybe I would die tomorrow. I sighed. Most cancer patients would be confined to the hospital by now, but no no no, I get to meet my end alone on an alien Warship. No one would no what happened to me, although I doubted anyone I knew would care. They're probably glad I'm going to die soon. I finally fell into a restless sleep.
