Song is Just Gold by MandoPony.
This is a crossover between The Maze Runner, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, and Transformers Prime. I would recommend at least knowing the basics of the Hobbit and Maze Runner stories, as there will be spoilers. I will try and provide some context to the story so you won't be completely lost. Okay I'll shut up now...

Megatron's POV (surprise!)
I couldn't believe it. I had never been so angry at my scientist, Shockwave, in my life cycle. An experiment he had been working on had gone very wrong while my loyal third in command happened to be there, and he was turned into a human, along with Lazerbeak, who was a small child. Soundwave was very much ashamed to be a human, and had confined himself to his berthroom until a cure was created. I let him, as he had always been my most trusted soldier, and I knew it was the least I could do after all of his hard work. I walked through the halls of my warship, and knocked on the door to his berthroom, with an announcement of who I was. The door opened without a sound. I saw Soundwave standing on his desk and staring blankly at the wall. His face was still covered.
"Soundwave! Because of your unique predicament, I want you to take however much time off as it takes for Shockwave to find you a cure. Am I understood?"
Soundwave nodded, but didn't say a word. I left the room, the door shutting silently behind me.
Soundwave's POV
I couldn't believe it. Of all the things that have happened to me, being turned into a human was by far the worst. And now that Lord Megatron had ordered me not to work until I was cured, I now had nothing to do. I never had time to do anything other than work and giving Lazerbeak attention. I turned to look at the sleeping child on my berth. I had wrapped him up in the cloth I use to clean my visor when it got dirty. I sighed. I guess I could work on some portal experiments that could be used to upgrade my internal Groundbridge once I get changed back to a Cybertronian.  I worked close to Lazerbeak so I could keep an eye on him while I worked. A few hours later, while I was still working, Lazerbeak woke up. He asked what I was doing, and then sat beside me to watch me work. Suddenly, a strange sound came out of the contraption I was building, and we were suddenly sucked in a type of portal I had never seen before. All I saw and heard was Lazerbeak reaching for me while screaming my name, before everything went black.
Y/N POV
My heart pounded in my ears as I ran faster. For the first time in the two years I was stuck in this blasted maze. I had seen Grievers, the monsters who haunted the maze, during the day. I could only pray they hadn't gotten to the others, but luck was rarely on our side. About ten of them were chasing me, and I knew more were coming. I seemed to be their main objective, but I was determined to not let them get to me. I had to stay alive and lead all of us out of here. Suddenly, I felt an unexplained force grabbing me along with the Grievers, and pulling us into an invisible portal. Once we were through, we were all thrown every which way. I scrambled to my feet, and ran. I suddenly came across some horses. At least, I'm pretty sure that's what they were. They appeared to be scared, but someone probably owned them since some were saddled. I grabbed the nearest one, climbed on, and figured out how to make it run. And once they smelled danger, they ran like the wind. I managed to figure out how to control it with my knees, and tried to find a way out of these woods. I swerved when I glimpsed a man holding a child. I knew I had to take them with me. I could not leave them to the mercy of the Grievers. As I rode close to them I reached out my hand.
"Climb on!" I yelled. "Terrible things are coming! We have to  get out of here!"
The man's head jerked up, and I saw his face was mostly hidden. When I was close enough, he grabbed my hand and hoisted himself and the boy in his arms on the horse's back. My heart pounded in my chest as I heard the familiar sound of the Grievers getting closer. I made the horse go as fast as possible, but they still caught up. We barely managed to evade them.
"Inquiry: what are those?" I heard the man ask.
"Those are what we call Grievers. If they sting you, you suffer great pain, insanity to the point of cannibalism, and eventually death. If you get stung there is no cure," I replied. Unfortunately, his question had distracted me, and I wasn't watching where I was going. I screamed as a Griever lunged at us, before it unexpectedly fell to the ground, an arrow right where the blinking light where I suppose its power source was. I stared at it in shock. So it was possible to kill these things. I urged the horse on as other Grievers approached. Once we finally made our way out of the woods, we came upon a curious sight. A group of well-dressed horsemen/women with very long hair were  mowing through these somewhat humanoid, strange, ghastly creatures. The riders were spearing and shooting at them with arrows. Where were we? Who were they? I didn't know the answer to either of those questions, but I wondered if one of them was responsible for killing the one Griever back there. Maybe they could kill the rest. I rode towards them screaming for help, just as the horde of Grievers began chasing us. Thankfully, the strange people heard us, and their alarm grew as they saw the situation. They rode towards us swiftly. Two riders broke off from formation and went to stand beside us, as the rest engaged the Grievers, heeding my yelled warning about their stingers. Finally, all of the Grievers were dead, although our helpers' ranks were considerably thinned as well. One, who looked very wise, approached us. Although they had just saved us, I was still cautious, and backed away.
"Don't come any closer!" I yelled. He reached out a hand to calm me.
"I mean you know harm, young one, nor your companions. My name is Lord Elrond. Can you tell me who you are? And what these are?" I contemplated for a moment. This could be a trap by the creators. I decided to only tell what the creators would already know.
"I don't know who I am. All I know is my name, Y/N. I don't know where these two came from. I picked them up while running from those monsters which we call Grievers. Two years ago about twenty teenage girls were sent up what we call the Cage. We all woke up in it with no memories except for our names. We all arrived in a glade of sorts. Surrounding it, are high stone walls, which form a maze which we have been unable to solve. It changes every night after the doors close in the evening. Once the doors open, eight of us run the maze, and try and find a way out. If we are not back before the doors close, then the Grievers will kill you. No one has ever survived it. And those who just get stung, suffer a fate worse than death before they finally succumb to the poison. It is a fate I would wish on no one."
I closed my eyes as screams echoed in my mind. "Today, I saw Grievers as I was running the maze. That never happens during the day. They seemed set on getting me. While I was running, a vacuum seemed to pull me as well as the Grievers inside, and dumped us in that forest. I kept running until I found horses, where I grabbed the closest one and kept going. I picked these two up on the way. I wasn't about to leave them to the mercy of those monsters." Everyone was silent after my short tale, and Lord Elrond was frowning.
"Young child. I do not know of any who would do such a thing, but I will do all in my power to help you," here, his gaze shifted to my companions. "I would be most interested to hear of who your companions are, but let us return to my halls, and feed you, and you will tell us who you are." I felt the man nod.
"Follow me." Lord Elrond commanded, and we were off. We rode for about half an hour, before we came to a beautiful sight. A small city was built into the mountainside. There were trees and beautiful waterfalls. I knew I had never seen anything like it. My attention turned to a circular platform in the middle, where a handful of curiously short men were standing. And yet, among them, a teenager with sandy blonde hair was there. He looked kind of out of place among the rough-looking short men. I locked eyes with his, and he smiled lightly at me. When the horses stopped after circling around the others, Lord Elrond dismounted, but the rest stayed on their horses. I followed their example until Lord Elrond gestured for me to come see him. He was talking in a strange language to a tall man in grey, with a huge beard. Lord Elrond spoke, "Gandalf, this is Y/N. She said she had been trapped in a maze for the last three years. Do you know of anything like this that has happened?" Gandalf frowned, and shook his head. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw the blonde's head jerk up at the word "maze."
"You were in a maze too!?" he exclaimed loudly, causing everyone to look at him strangely. The teen pushed his way over to us and grabbed my shoulders.
"A maze with all girls?" I stared at him, shocked. How did he know? Sensing my puzzlement, he sighed, running his hand through his hair.
"My friends and I were trapped as well, but we escaped months ago. Did you manage to escape?"
"No," I frowned. "Aris just came out of the box today. I was running the maze when Grievers started chasing me. This is the first time we have seen them in the daytime. Do you know why we were all trapped in that hellhole?" I asked this last question eagerly. I wanted to know who I was and what we could have possible done to deserve our fate. The boy sighed.
"I do know what happened, but perhaps it is better to wait until you sit down to hear it, and I wish to tell everyone at once, so I won't have to repeat it." I nodded, albeit reluctantly. I waited three years. I could wait a few hours. Elrond then offered his hospitality to the short men (I now remembered they were called dwarves), and we went inside. Elrond sent me off with a servant to go find his daughter, Arwen. She was to help me get ready for dinner. She was very kind and sympathetic to my plight. She dressed me in a royal blue dress that complimented my figure.
"This was mine when I was little," she said, smiling. I smiled back and thanked her. She then did my hair, and finally let me look in the mirror. I couldn't believe what I saw. There was no way that beautiful young woman in the mirror was me.
"W-wow," I said, speechless. Arwen grinned. "Now that looks amazing on you! You can keep the dress if you like!" I protested, but she insisted I keep it, and reminded me she had plenty of dresses anyways. I looked at myself in the mirror one last time before she pulled away.
"Dinner is ready. We must hurry to be there in time." Then she dragged me along with her, the both of us laughing all the way. We calmed ourselves once we reached the dining hall outside, Arwen composing herself into quite the princess. I blushed slightly as a few jaws dropped when they saw us. Arwen escorted me to her father's table, and I sat next to the man I had rescued, and learned his name was Soundwave. It was an odd name, but it kind of fit him, even though he barely said a word. His kid, Lazerbeak, was sitting next to him, contentedly eating a salad. Elrond greeted us, and resumed eating. I was introduced to the dwarf leader, Thorin Oakenshield. I learned that he was supposed to be a king, but a dragon took his kingdom. I was also formally introduced to the blonde male from my world. His name was Newt. He was a very kind young man. The tall man named Gandalf was there as well, as well as an older dwarf named Balin, and a "hobbit" named Bilbo. Newt began explaining the situation back in my world: about the sun flares that destroyed most of the planet, about a horrible disease (also highly contagious) that made you go insane, about how WICKED (The World in Catastrophe Killzone Experiment Department) had kidnapped a bunch of kids and experimented on them to find a cure, how there were multiple mazes, the Right Arm, Teresa's betrayal, retrieving his friend Minho, and how Newt almost died. I was quiet when he finished. It was hard to believe that I would finally find the truth, only to find out that not only was the entire world destroyed, but the chances of any of my family I may have had before surviving was pretty much zero. I couldn't take the stares of pity anymore. I needed to be alone.
"Excuse me," I said, and left. Once I was out of anyone's sight, I ran. I didn't know where I was going, but I needed to run. I suddenly slammed into someone. I quickly apologized as I saw it was Soundwave I ran into, and tried to leave, but he gently grabbed my arms and led me into a more private place in the garden. We both sat down, and I waited for him to say something.
"I haven't got all day!" I snapped at him. I knew I shouldn't have, but I was irritated and wanted to be alone.
"I know what you are going through," he spoke quietly. "My home, too, was destroyed by centuries of civil war, mostly over power. The chances of anyone being able to go to the home they knew are very slim." I frowned. I now felt bad for snapping at him, when he had been through a similar situation that I was in.
"Oh. I'm sorry." To my surprise, he chuckled.
"It's okay. You didn't know. He was silent for a moment. "What are you going to do now?"
I shrugged. "Who knows? I don't even know how to get back to my dimension, and even if I did, there's no one left for me."  Soundwave studied me. "What if I took you back to my world? I'm sure you would be welcomed!" I jerked my head towards him. "Even if we could go back to your planet, would I even be able to breathe?" He shook his head.
"Our war has unfortunately made it to planet Earth, which is where I believe you reside." I thought for a moment, and then nodded. "If you can get us back to your world, I will go with you." He smiled, and then yelped in surprise as I hugged him tightly. I was finally going to have a place to call home! We stayed there in the garden for a while, just holding onto each other. Even though we hadn't known each other very long, our similar plights sort of connected us. Later, when I said I felt better, we went back to find the others.
Soundwave's POV
Apparently Lazerbeak had gone off to play with a young human boy named Estel. Soundwave decided to let him enjoy himself before they went back to nothing but work. Soundwave talked with the girl, Y/N. He was fascinated by her. Even though she just learned about the loss of her world, she remained strong. Megatron would (hopefully) not kill her, and train her to be able to spy on the Autobot pets. Considering the environment she had spent the last three years in, he knew this would be a challenge. He didn't intend to reveal his true form to her until he returned to the warship. Not like he could, anyways, since Shockwave had gotten him stuck as a human, and he doubted anyone would believe him without proof anyways, even if he told them. He knew he wouldn't in their place. This place was also severely lacking any kind of technology. It was honestly driving him nuts. He couldn't wait to get home. And he couldn't stand the dwarves, especially the one called Thorin Oakenshield. He seemed to think he was better than everyone else, and somewhat reminded him of the old council of Zeta Prime he used to be apart of, before he left and declared his vow of silence, which he was forced to break in his human form. Without his mask, he was unable to use his recordings. He felt so useless without it. He was taken out of his thoughts when the girl next to him commented on seeing Lord Elrond. The elf, who was obviously (at least to Soundwave) much older than he looked, smiled kindly at them, Soundwave giving a curt nod in return. He didn't entirely trust Elrond. Y/N ran up to him, (telling Soundwave to wait there for her) her beautiful hair swaying the wind. She talked to Elrond about something, and his frown deepened as he listened to her. He replied something back to her, and she deflated slightly, but cheered herself up and then ran back to Soundwave, waving at Elrond as she left. The pair continued their walk in silence, enjoying the quiet. Soundwave learned that Elrond didn't know how to get them home, but would most certainly try his hardest. For now, he would do his best to enjoy himself in this strange world.
***time skip two months***
As the weeks turned into months, I couldn't help but grow feelings for the femme I promised to take with me back to the Nemesis. It was no longer just to spy on the Autobot pets that I wanted here there for, but for my own desires. I was now madly in love with her, although I often wondered if she felt the same. I spoke to her more, and shared more of my past with her, although I had yet to tell her the truth about my true form. One day, I decided I would tell her both of my feelings and my true form. I asked for her to come to the garden where we first talked. I waited impatiently for her to arrive. I was so nervous. Since neither of us could leave Rivendell as Elrond was still working on getting us home, I couldn't just up and leave if she rejected me. Finally I heard her footsteps. It was time. She approached me.
"You wanted to speak with me?" She inquired. It took me a second to get the words out, but I managed. "There are a couple of things I wanted to tell you. The first is about my form. I'm not human. I never have been. I am a giant alien autonomous robotic form, and my plant's name is Cybertron. I was trapped in a human form after our scientist accidentally spilled an experiment all over me. I was tinkering with an experiment in my berthroom when I was transported here. The reason I'm telling you all of this is because I like you. A lot. More like love you. I wanted you to know what you are getting yourself into if you decide you love me back." Here, I lowered my head. There was no way she liked me back. No one ever liked me. Megatron appreciated me, but that was because I served him well, and well, Lazerbeak was a part of me so he didn't exactly count. I felt her servos on my face, tilting it towards her. Then, she kissed me. I felt my eyes close, as we both melted into the kiss.
"I love you too," she said, smiling at me. I smiled back and hugged her tight. I finally found my sparkmate!
Hope y'all enjoy!
