Just so we're clear;;
Boyfriend's name will be Keith, and Girlfriend's name will be Cherry. However, "Boyfriend/BF" and "Girlfriend/GF" are nicknames that will be used more often. This also applies to Dante (Daddy Dearest), Scarlette (Mommy Mearest), and Sam (Senpai).
Expect some cameos/references from Pico's School, Doki Doki Literature Club, Eddsworld, Gravity Falls, and maybe Vocaloid/Hatsune Miku. You don't need, like, an in depth knowledge of these things to follow the plot, though. If you know what the Love Conquers All timeline is, we're going with that (except Pico still becomes a mercenary and the FNF plotline proceeds as normal-- Cassandra, Alucard, and Cyclops are just. normal here).
I'm ignoring the whole "senpai is just a character, spirit is the monster trapped inside of him" thing. I mention this in the first chapter, but just so we're all on the same page: "spirit" was what was left of Sam's human form, and "senpai" is a the result of Sam's personality being meshed with that of a dating sim character. I go more in depth on this in chapter 8.

Y/N's pronouns will be they/them. I might make other versions of this story where they use she/her, neopronouns, or he/him, but that just kinda depends on how popular this gets ig. I'm going to do my best to keep them gender netural, race neutral, and body-type neutral. only thing is that senpai is going to be a good bit taller than you but thats it. if i end up using language that is too feminine or masculine (i.e. saying the character is wearing a skirt), please tell me and i'll edit it.
