Tae huffed, "have you looked in your wardrobe? Hazel has mine kitted out in suits"

I chuckled, "it is a royal party"

Tae mimicked me, making me lean my elbow into his stomach lightly, as we both chuckled. But that did make me wonder about the outfits, so I stood up and went back into my room, as Tae followed. I rose my eyebrows as I opened the white waradrobe, seeing a handful of dresses. My hand went to this deep purple dress, that was long sleeved in a silk type of fabric, as it would stop mid thigh on me. The neck line was just enough to not seem overly flashy. There were black heels at the bottom of the waradrobe, and I scoffed.

"I'll break my neck" I muttered as I picked them up.

I tried them on, sitting down on the bed and Tae offered me his hand to hold onto as I stood up. We were nearly as tall as one another, bar from a couple inches.

"Oh hello" Tae breathed out a smile.

I smiled back, and tried walking.

My ankle nearly buckled, making Tae hide his hand in front of his mouth as he tried not to smile at me.

"Shut up, or I'll make you put them on" I muttered, looking down at them.

"Sorry baby. You look hot though" he breathed out, looking down at my legs. I rolled my eyes, but that confidence boost was enough to make me start walking again.

It wasn't overly hard, once I had figured out to keep my ankles locked tight.

"I can put up with them for one night" I breathed out a few minutes later, still walking around the room.

The air gushed around me, and I noticed that Tae was no longer in my room. That made me pause, glancing at the door, and not even a second later, a knock came filled the room. As I got closer to it, still walking in the heels, I sensed Hazel the other side. I opened the door and she glanced at me, noticing that I was slightly taller. Her eyes shot down to my feet, and grinned.

"I was just coming to see if you had found the heels" she breathed out.

"I thought I'd better see if I could walk in them" I said as I walked away from the door.

She chuckled, "the trick is to find the balance, that's all. I've been wearing them for years, we have parties like this a lot, it's a great excuse to see a lot of the famous Fairies around Lumen"

I sat on the bed and clicked them together, making her smile at me.

"Do you want me to send over one of the staff to do your hair and make up? They will come about half six. I know you don't need it, but it might give you extra confidence" she added.

I rose my eyebrows, I hadn't even thought of that.

"Sure, thank you" I smiled.

"I know... that you aren't used to things like this. But I am, I've been around it my whole life so I wanted to make you feel as comfortable as you can be. I've learnt a few things over the years" Hazel said, going over to the wardrobe.

"Thank you, I mean it. The Institute wasn't exactly like this, growing up" I breathed out.

She picked out the purple dress from earlier I had chose myself, and gave me a gentle smile, "I've made my Dad look into the Institution's in Lumen, and apparently yours was one of the ones that was kept... under the radar shall I say"

That made me crease my eyebrows together.

"He didn't know about you" Hazel said, pursing her lips.
