The Setup

Lucy's POV:

L: umm well I might be moving here for work...

J: AND YOU JUST THOUGHT TO NOT TELL ME THIS ALL DAY

L: well I kind of forgot....

J: what are you doing tomorrow?

L: umm I'm kind of busy since I was with you all day today.

J: do you have time for a second date?

L: well i don't think you're going to take no for an answer so I mean I can make time.

J: when are you moving?!?

L: well I need to find a house first and probably go through construction and I need to setup my distribution and shipping company here. Plus Connor is moving here and so is Tyler, Michael and Daniel. So probably like within the next 6 months...

J: are you moving here because of me?

L: I really like you and all but no... I dont make my decision based on the guys I'm seeing. 

J: good. But why are you moving to Dallas?

L: umm taxes... and everyone is moving here so...

Jamie starts laughing.

J: smart

L: I mean it makes more sense. I can work anywhere with my job. My team is willing to move to save on taxes too so it just makes more sense plus shipping rates in Dallas are so much cheaper so I can lower the price of shipping for people too. Plus the weather is nice so more time for content.

Jamie is smiling ear to ear.

L: What?

J: you're moving to Dallas... we have a second date tomorrow... I don't know what I have to even be upset about.

L: well your friend is still in the backyard upset.

J: oh yeah... I should go back out there. When Taylor gets here you can open the gate at the front door. You should see the access pad.

L: oh yeah Jamie. You can say no to this but so the guys tend to bring their pets with them. Is it ok if they bring their pets here?

J: yeah of course Boy loves other animals

L: ok cool I'm just going to clean up in here you go talk to Tyler.

J: thank you.

He kisses me on the cheek and then leaves the room.

As I'm about done cleaning I hear crying so I walk over to where Billie is an I pick her up. She must have woken up from all the noise. I rock her back to bed and just as I put her down I hear the door bell ring.

I check my phone and sure enough Taylor texted me and Billie is also now awake again.

I carry Billie to the door and open the gate like how Jamie told me to. I open the front door and walk back to the living room to put Billie down and she seemed pretty tired since it was like 9pm and layed down on her own.
