"She's mine!".

An inhuman growl woke you up with a start.

"You touch her and you're dead!".

"Oh, as if a puny dragon like you can defeat me!".

You rolled your eyes.

Here again! Those two were already fighting at early morning.

The reason? You obviously!

You were offered by the inhabitants of Dale to the two dragons as a prize and peace offer.

It was by now an annual tradition where a young was sent to the dragons, either it was a boy or a girl.

But you was an exception. You were offered to them already two years ago and after you the dragons didn't demand any other prizes to the humans.

The others didn't have the same luck as you to survive that long...if that was to be considered luck! In that moment you wished to go and keep company to the dead, everything to make them shut.

"Stop it you two for Eru sake!" you shouted standing between them.

"I would like to wake up a morning without you threaten to death each other for me" you sighed.

"You have to choose... It's already time!" Smaug told and Ancalagon stood next to him with crossed arms.

You gulped.

You had to admit that even if they were dragons they both were fascinating. Their human forms were misleading.

On one side there was Smaug looking like a man with short and brown hair and golden eyes and wearing only some kind of pants you could see the shadow of his dragon scales on his bare chest, shoulders and face.

On the other side there was Ancalagon. His form even if it was human had some elvish traits that made him damned but handsome. Perfect and long black hair, fire red eyes, a pair of curned horns and a black robe; here's what he looked like.

Both of them were standing in front of you all quietly waiting for a response and in the meantime their eyes seemed like penetrating your soul.

Your heart jumped and you felt your cheeks almost burning in heat. You never thought you'd be fascinated by dragons and having to choose between them.

"Little kitten do not fear" Ancalagon purred in your ear as he approached you trying to flirt with you... And he was succeeding.

"I... I c-can't!" you shouted moving away from him; he was too tempting and it was too much to handle.

"I can't choose" you sighed and they looked at each other confused.

"You are both very handsome" you finally confessed "I.. I... I like both of you".

At that Smaug and Ancalagon looked at each other and on their faces there was a pleased smile.

Now you could be afraid.
