Birds outside the bedroomwere chirping and even asleep you could hear noises from the streets... and a melodious song spread out in the air.

Little by little you began opening your eyes being lulled by that melody only after to realize to have headache... and to find yourself in an unknown place, moreover in a bed. You were supposed to travel and be out in an open meadow but instead you were comfortable in a bed. You stood up to sit on the mattress.

"Please... you shouldl ay down; you are yet to be fully recovered" you heard a voice and just after turning your head to the other side you saw a guy sitting on a chair.

"Where am I? Who are you?" you asked.

"You are in Rivendell by lord Elrond. He and a group of elves found you unconscious and wounded after an ambush of an orcs' pack" he explained... and indeed he was right; when you looked at yourself you saw patches on your body.

"Thank you..."

"Lindir. Lindir is my name" he smiled at you.

"Thank you Lindir".

He was about to leave you in peace to dress yourself but you stopped him.

"What's going on here Lindir? I couldn't help hearing noises and songs and I got curious".

"Oh for this...Preparations for a party are being finished. Surely lord Elrond will be pleased to see you when you are healed" he told you.

"That's nice... I will be glad indeed to see him to thank him personally" you smiled.

"...and now if you pardon me I should go to assist my lord".

You nodded and you thanked him again before he left.

"He's such a gentle guy" you thought by yourself.

And then you searched for your usual clothes but they were not to be seen so instead you wore a green dress that was handed for you.

You dressed yourself and then all curious you decided to take a stroll around to look what was happening.

Once out in the streets you were in awe for the beauty of that place, houses and landscape. You walked around and you couldn't resist at watching every elf at work decorating and doing the last preparations.

"Seems like it will be a nice party" you thought by yourself... and in the meantime the elves around you were giving you an inquisitive look. But you didn't care; actually you weren't paying attention to them. You better kept on walking and you were so busy admiring your surroundings that you got lost in a garden full of flowers without even understanding how you ended up there.

You admired all those coloured and perfumed flowers and out of nowhere you bumped into something... or better someone.

"Oh my god! I am truly sorry" you apologized immediately. "I am sorry forbeing so clumsy. Did I hurt you?".

You helped him standing up and when you were able to look in his eyes you saw an elf. He had long brown hair and his chocolate eyes, cute nose and smile, his chubby cheeks, high cheekbones and his pointy ears made him really adorable; and you wanted to giggle at looking at him beginning to blush but you held back.

"You are not an elf maiden. What do you do here?" he asked you.

"I am a traveller and I ended up here in Rivendell only to recover myself" you explained him.

"What about you?" you got all curious and only that moment he remember what he was doing and moved to hide something behind his back; but you noticed.
