'Red is such an interesting colour to correlate with emotion because it's on both ends of spectrum.
The peaceful night was now replaced with sun rays filtering through the windows of the room. Car honks, meows of stray cats and barking of neighbourhood dogs made it uncomfortable for Sean to sleep. He gazed at the woman in his arms, grinning as he studied her exquisite features; long lashes, her brunette messy hair, nose, and the perfect cherry lips he had claimed the previous evening.
She looks peaceful - he thought as he slowly moved not to awake her but her eyes fluttered open, and she frowned. "You are leaving, again?"
Sean knew his answer would disappoint her and he chose to speak the latter, "No. I was going to get breakfast. Good morning."
Talia didn't hear a word he said. 'Please don't put on a shirt' she crossed her fingers as she wished when he grabbed his shirt from the floor. Sean was mystified wondering what had gotten her in a frozen state all of a sudden. "You can have me for breakfast then," he teased and she agreed almost quickly.
Did she hear what I said?' - he wondered.
Little did he know that his sculpted muscles were distracting her, and, that was the reason for her provocative thoughts. Talia recalled the make-out session from the previous evening and her cheeks turned pink, unaware Sean was watching. Talia suddenly felt disappointed that they had not gone all the way but she understood his reasons. While she was swarming her head with thoughts, Sean noticed her brows furrowing. He didn't want her ever worrying about anything and he reached for her hand, snapping the upset-minded Talia out of her trance. "I, um, ... um," she swallowed, embarrassed.
'She is adorable he thought, finding her reaction funny. He wanted to have her in all possible ways but he decided to wait since Talia wasn't any woman, she was special. He couldn't understand why he wanted her close, knowing he constantly lived on edge of danger. It is like Talia was a magnet pulling him towards her. "Se ... Alek,"
Sean levelled his head closer and kissed her thoughtlessly. He didn't care about the morning breath while he got intoxicated by her lips. As soft sounds escaped her mouth, he felt her heart rate going up. Talia also felt his heartbeat as she touched his broad chest before placing her hand on his neck. The kiss awakened all her senses and Talia felt she was floating in another universe. Her skin erupted in goosebumps when he kissed her neck, chest and back to her lips. By the end of the kiss, she was out of breath, panting and red-faced. "I love it when you call my name," he said.
"Which one? You have many, I doubt I can keep up."
He thought for a moment. "The one you like better,"
