"You good?" They just quickly nod their head and walk past me. Weird, but I had moved on from that. There was something I heard earlier that keeps bugging me.

Techno's POV

I pondered on that thought for a while, what was it supposed to mean? I'll ask Will later after I finish the farm. I walked over to where Y/n had sat down the potatoes and everything else. I start picking up the stacks of dirt and start placing it down. Y/n was just on the side with a book open, it seemed they were drawing something.

"Whatcha drawing?" I looked over my shoulder to catch a glance of them to see if they had heard me. I see them look up at me, then I look back down at what I am doing. "I'm sketching out plans for an automatic farm. Well it's more of a semi-automatic farm. You would still have to plant everything but you wouldn't have to collect the potatoes, they would go into chests through hoppers." I'm impressed. They can come up with all of that in a small amount of time. "One downside is that I am not good at building those types of things, but my brother is. Maybe I can talk to Wilbur and see if he can help us as well." They seemed to just be talking to themself at this point. Their face seemed to turn from a form of excitement to sadness.

"On the other hand I don't want him to be put in danger because of something I asked him to do." They were sitting on the ground and they pulled their legs up to their chest. I had stopped what I was doing and walked over to them. I sat down next to them, about a foot apart so they wouldn't be uncomfortable. "Why do you think he would be put into trouble?" They didn't look at me and it took them a bit to respond. "Schlatt offered me and my brother a position to work for him before I came with you. I let Tubbo have the final decision on what we were to do and he wanted us to take the jobs so both of us would be just a little more safe." Oh, that's gonna be a problem. What am I supposed to do?! They work for the enemy, but they are helping us. Are they going to be a double agent?

"Well what are your thoughts on everything?" I stare down at them as they put their head in their knees. "I honestly don't like any of this. I'm helping you guys just so everyone can live in peace again. No corrupt government if any type of government at all. For my brother to be safe and happy." So they don't like government? Hmm, I guess their comment was right, we aren't too different from each other. That reminded me, I still had to ask Will what that meant. I hate to leave them like this, but I really want to know. "I believe what we are doing will help with what you are wanting for everyone and your brother." I start to stand up and head towards the door. I looked over at them as they were staring at me. I give them a small smile, "I have to go ask Will and Tommy some questions, but I'll be back to work on the farm and hopefully continue talking to you." I walk out of the farm area to go find Will. I walk around the entire ravine and can't find anyone. I walk up the stairs to find Wilbur at the enderchest.

"Will, I need to ask you something about Y/n." Wilbur had looked over at me and after a few moments he gave me a smirk and picked up a book from the enderchest and started scanning it. "Yes, Y/n is single." I felt my face heating up. What the hell! I meant yes they are attractive but he has got the wrong idea! We are only comrades at arms! "No! That's not what I came here to ask you. I came here to ask you about Y/n's past." The smirk on Wilbur's face disappeared in an instant. He closed the book and put it back in the enderchest. He turned to me and sighed.

"What do you mean 'ask about Y/n's past'?" I sighed and leaned against the way to the stairwell. "I mean that after I told them about our past they whispered something under their breath as we were, hugging." My face heated up a bit just thinking of the hug. Wilbur had sat on the enderchest an motioned for me to sit next to him. "Well you were bound to find out at some point." He had pulled out a photo from his pocket and just stared at it. "I was told to keep this safe for Y/n so Tubbo wouldn't see it." Their little brother? "Why would they want to hide a photo from him?" Will was still staring at the photo as he was speaking. "They didn't want Tubbo to see it because they knew something like this might happen. They also didn't want Tubbo to be mad at him once he came back for abandoning them when they were small." He had handed me the photo for me to look at. I saw three people, they all looked familiar. I pulled out the picture Will had given me before to find Y/n. I compared the more recent photo to the other. The little boy had the same features as Tubbo and the other kid resembled Y/n. I was still confused as to who the third older man was. I pointed at the older man.

"Who's that?" Wilbur didn't have to look over to know who I was pointing at. "Schlatt, that's Schlatt." I looked back down at the photo, then it finally clicked. "Oh" Will just nodded at my response. "Will you tell me what happened?" He shook his head at me. "I think they need to explain it, it is their story." He pointed towards the stairwell at Y/n standing there. I stood up and walked over to them towering over them. "If you are willing, will you explain it to me? I just want to understand everything. If you don't feel comfortable doing it, that is also fine." They didn't look up at me, I don't know why they would but just seeing their gaze just gave me comfort.

"I was bound to have to explain it to more people at some point." They walked over towards the orange bed and sat down. Wilbur stayed in the room this time, probably to help encourage Y/n. I sat next to Wilbur again while looking at Y/n. "I personally don't know how to start this conversation off, but I'll just go for it." I wanted to hear the explanation in Y/n's own words. They took in a deep breath and gave out that same breath.

"Schlatt is me and my brother's biological father."
