~You're the One I'm Meant to be With~ A Technoblade x Reader

As I spot my house in the distance, I jog the rest of the way and sneak in through the 2nd floor window. I gather all my important stuff and walk around the house for one last time before I leave it for good. I walk into Tubbo's room and stand there looking around. Then I heard him...

"Y/n...?"

Y/n's POV

I slowly turn to see Tubbo standing behind me with clear bruises and bandages. I assume it was from the attack a couple weeks ago. Once I had fully turned around, I saw him holding his necklace. Honestly, I thought he would have gotten rid of it.

"What are you doing here?" His voice was quiet. "Came to retrieve all of my stuff." He stood there looking at the ground. "Then why are you in here?" I follow his actions and also look at the ground. "I wanted to see this place one last time before I left, for good." I didn't want to look at him, but I knew I couldn't avoid him forever. I looked up to see him, he looked like he was in pain. Not the physical type of pain either, only the pain I could inflict on him. I walk up to him, closing the space between us.

"Why didn't you tell me about him?" He didn't make eye contact with me. I took a deep breath, I didn't know what to say to him. "I- I didn't want you to hate him, but I guess I failed." He looked up at me with tears streaming down his face. "Mom left right after you were born and Dad left when you were three. I tried to keep you safe all these years and it all led up to this." I felt tears threatening to spill out of my eyes like they were for Tubbo.

"I promised myself I would keep you safe and to never leave you, but I guess I couldn't keep those promises." Tears started to roll down my face as Tubbo started to silently sob. I grab onto his shoulders and he looks at me face to face. "Now I may be gone from L'manburg, but that does not mean I am gonna be gone forever." He nods at me as he tries to keep his composure.

"Even though we might become enemies, we are still family and I will always love you." I pulled him into a hug, after I did that he let all his tears out and started sobbing into my chest. I held him close as he cried his heart out for what felt like hours. I finally pulled away from him and wiped away his remaining tears from his face.

"I will always be here for you, be safe." I let go of him and snuck out of his window to avoid the people of L'manburg. I walk back to me and Techno's newly built home. It took about 2 hours to get out there and it was dark so I had to avoid monsters as well. I walked up the steps and opened the door and found Techno pacing around the living room until he saw me.

"Are you okay, you've been gone for hours. Are you hurt?" He had his hands on my face inspecting it for anything. I giggle as I place my hand atop of his. "I'm fine Techno, just got hung up on something." I step away from Techno and lean against the door, trying not to make eye contact with him. "Did something happen?" I shake my head and stare at the ground. I hear footsteps grow closer, then I feel a pair of arms hold me. I looked up and realized Techno had pulled me close to him.

"You know you can tell me anything." I smile at him and hug him. "Yeah, I know." We stood there for several moments before either of us moved. "We should get to bed, it's getting late." I started walking off, but I felt a light grip on my wrist. I turned back to see that Techno had held onto my wrist. I gave him a confused look as he pulled me in again. He was holding me by my waist and had his head in the crook of my neck.

"You never gave me an answer, I know I said I could wait. But I'm also impatient." It took me a couple minutes to figure out what he was talking about. I realized what he was talking about and my face instantly heated up. "Uhm- Well-" He pulled me closer to him. "You know how I feel, and I know how you feel. What's stopping us from being together?" I wrap my arms around his neck and I place my head on his shoulder. "There's nothing stopping us, I'm just-" I take a deep breath and then continue. "I'm just scared." He lifted his head from his shoulder and lifted my head with his thumb and pointer finger.

"There is no need to be scared, I promise not to leave you nor hurt you." I just smile at him, not knowing what to say, except for... "Yes." He stared at me for a couple moments before he smiled and picked me up and twirled me around the room. He put me down and put his forehead on my own. I giggle at his action as I wrap my arms around his neck. I stare at him as he stares back, his eyes flicking between my eyes and my lips. I rolled my eyes as I kissed him, I felt him tense up but he soon melted into the kiss.

After a couple minutes we broke the kiss and both of us were smiling like idiots. We suddenly hear a knock at the door and we look at each other confused. Techno let me go and grabbed a sword that had been placed by the front door and held it under his cape, out of sight. Techno opened the door and froze, the only thing I could see was a green and white bucket hat with some tufts of golden blond hair coming from under the hat. I looked at the back of Techno's head and in a faint whisper he said...

"Dad?"
