CHARLIE AND Y/N WERE NOW SITTING ON THE COUCH. Casey had dropped them both off at her apartment, while she was going to go out and get food. It was currently 6:34 PM, according to the microwave in the abandon kitchen.
"So Y/n. Anything you wanna do?" Charlie questioned, wanting to make her feel welcome. Little did he know, Y/n always felt welcome at his house. It was practically her second home.
"Hmm, I think The Simpsons is on now. We could watch that," Y/n answered with a hopeful smile.
Charlie smiled back and nodded, turning on the TV to the correct channel.
After a little while of watching The Simpsons, they heard the door unlock. Casey silently walked into the kitchen to put the groceries away.
"Okay, kids, I have heatable dinners, mozzarella sticks, or I can make you guys mac and cheese," Casey told Y/n and Charlie. "Also come up from the sofa and get yourselves some drinks."
Y/n jumped up off the couch, pushing down Charlie in the process. She laughed him when he narrowed his eyes at her, and just walked into the kitchen.
"Thank you again for getting us food Casey," Y/n thanked. She reached into a cabinet and took a cup, that just happen to be stolen from the diner Casey worked at. She filled up the cup with water and sat at the dining room table.
Charlie was close behind, just finishing pouring his water. He walked over and took the seat next to her.
While Y/n was busy observing a cut on her finger, Charlie stared at her. He had never noticed how pretty she was before. I mean, maybe there were a few times. The way her lips would curve into her beautiful smile, or how she would look at anything like it's the thing she adored most in the world.
She looked up at him and smiled. He quickly looked down, but after feeling the presence of her still looking at him, he looked up again. He smiled cheekily at her and she quietly laughed, looking away.
Little did they know, Casey was busy in the kitchen smirking at the two kids.
After they ate, they decided to play some board games as a three. These games consisted of Inklings, Monopoly, and Battleship. Unsurprisingly, Y/n won all of the three games.
By the time they finished, it was already 8:30. Casey decided she was going to head to bed, since she had a early morning at the diner the next day.
"How do you feel 'bout watching The Princess Bride?" Charlie asked the girl. It was probably one of his favorite movies, having watched it with his mom so many times.
"Man, what's with you and cheesy romance movies?" Y/n rolled her eyes jokingly. "But yea sure, I've only seen it once."
They got back on the couch, and turned on the movie.
After a few blanket battles and pillow fights, they were absolutely gone. Casey walked to the kitchen for a glass of water to see the two eleven year olds passed out on the couch.
Y/n was laying sideways with her head on Charlie's lap, while he was laying with his head on her back. It was a quite confusing layout honestly.
Casey felt bad about waking them up, but decided it was best in the end. She felt like they would suddenly wake up with scoliosis from that position. She moved them over into Charlie's bedroom one by one, putting them both on his bed.
The sound of light rain pattering on the windowsills could be heard from inside the Conway's apartment, as the three peacefully drifted off to sleep once again.
