I take three more gulps and soon my head starts feeling heavy and a little dizzy. I've never been drunk but one more gulp can't hurt. I take one more big gulp and by this time I can barely taste the alcohol.
"Woah slow down there, this has a really high percentage of alcohol" Austin says taking the bottle away from me. I feet really good right now.
"Oh my god, why didn't you tell me that" I reply smacking his arm.
"You're drunk" He says shaking his head. He knows if I was sober, I wouldn't dare touch him.
"Uh, no I don't think so" I say shaking my head.
"Shh, just lay down and enjoy it" He says placing the bottle beside the chair and closing his eyes. I quickly grab the bottle from the ground and take another big gulp causing me to cough.
"Caitlyn! No more, give it back to me" Austin says holding his hand out.
"One more?" I flutter my eyes.
"No Caitlyn" He shakes his head no. I pout handing the bottle back. "Now just lean back and relax." He leans his head back and looks at the sky.
"No no I want to talk! I barely ever get to talk, especially with you" I say clearly not thinking straight.
"Alright well what do you want to say?" He asks looking at me and raising his eyebrows.
"Uhmm" I giggle. My mind is racing right now. I don't even have anything to say. I look over at Austin with who is looking at me amused.
"Stop laughing at me! You always laugh at me" I say poking his arm.
"I'm not laughing at you" He replies with a little smile on his face.
"Uh yeah you are! I can see your lips!" I say looking down at his lips. I want to kiss him. I don't even like him but I. want. to kiss him.
"You can stop staring at them now" he says raising an eyebrow.
"I am not staring!" I roll my eyes. "Wait I'm sorry! I didn't mean to roll my eyes at you!" I say quickly.
"It's okay" He says quietly biting his bottom lip then looking away from me.
"Why do you sound so sad, don't sound sad everything is so good right now" I say standing up and doing a little twirl. Standing up made me realize how drunk I really am.
"I'm not" he says looking up at me and shaking his head.
"Good! Because this is time for us" I wag my finger between us. "To be happy" I smile skipping around like a little kid. I know I am really drunk because I know I would never do this while sober in a million years. My head is buzzing while I am skipping around making me not want to stop.
"Oh my gosh how drunk are you?" He asks furrowing his eyebrows. I walk up to his ear and whispered to him.
"Very, but shhh it's a secret" I whisper bringing my finger to my lip then letting out a giggle.
"Maybe you should just sit down." He replies taking my hand trying to get me to sit.
"No! I wanna walk around! I wanna go on an adventure!" I say getting out of his grip and walking away.
"This is adventure enough" He calls out.
"Nuh uh!" I say as I trip and fell. "Ow! that really hurt!" I rub my ankle.
"Are you okay?" Austin asks rushing over to me. "I told you to sit down didn't I?" He says examining my ankle to see if it was hurt.
"Sorry" I reply quietly. Everything was a blur right now. I didn't feel anything but happy.
