Is it necessary for all to suffer?

Sid was looking at Abhi who was looking at the glass pieces. He took one, throwing the rest in the dustbin. After sometime Abhi threw that piece and Sid smiled. Abhi went back to the others. 

Avu: Where is Sid? 

Abhi: How would I know? 

Avu: He came with you right? 

Abhi: He didn't come with me. 

Sid came there. 

Abhi: Sid, where were you? Avu is saying you came with me. 

Sid: I had also gone to the kitchen so she thought I came with you. 

Abhi understood what he meant and nodded. Suddenly he realised everything that had happened in the past few minutes. Everything he did was like on instinct, without thinking. 

Abhi: I'll be back. 

He went to his room. Outside Sid also stood up to go after sometime. 

Fais: Sid, are you both hiding something?  

Sid: No, we aren't hiding anything. I was just going to the garden. 

Fais nodded unsurely, feeling those two are hiding something. Sid went to the garden, it was the balcony converted to a garden. 

Sid's POV: 

I didn't go behind dada knowing he wants to be alone right now. But it's going higher than my control, now all have started doubting also. Dada isn't ready to listen to me, but it's not his fault. I heard the door opening but didn't turn around. I felt her holding my hand and looked at her. 

Avu: Sid, what is wrong? 

Sid: Right now, everything. And I'm not able to understand anything. 

She sat down on the grass, asking me to do the same. I sat down beside her. 

Avu: I know you won't say what has happened, but I know that you are stressing too much over it. First calm yourself and think properly. 

Sid: How? I was calm for long, but now it feels like everything is going out of hand. 

Avu: Then take someone's help. The person who you are most close to and feel can solve all your problems. 

That's dada only, how can I ask for his help when he himself is stuck in these problems? And then it is you, but I can't tell you anything.  

Sid: It won't work. 

I heard her sigh. 

Avu: Ok, look at me. 

I looked at her and raised an eyebrow. 

Avu: Close your eyes and for a moment forget everything. 

I closed my eyes, doing as she said. I didn't question anything as I trust her. 

Avu: Just clear your mind, forget all the problems for just few minutes. 

After few seconds of silence she continued speaking. 

Avu: Now think what the problem is, what is causing it and what can the solution be for it. 

The problem is caused by Rini, but she won't return now. And it... 

End of POV. 

Then Sid realised something which he hadn't thought of earlier. He immediately opened his eyes but Avu wasn't there, only he was there in the garden. He looked towards the gate and saw her going in. 

Sid: AVU. 

She turned around confused as he went to her. 

Avu: Yes? 

Sid: Where are you going suddenly? And what was that? 

Avu: I'm going back inside. And I just calmed your mind so that you get your solution. Now you just need to think about it, which you'll be doing alone, so I'm just giving you some space. And now when you return, I want you to be happy, having the solution. You have spent enough time going through it, now get over it. 

Sid: How do you manage this? 

Avu: Even I had a past, I have come over it. I'm not suffering anymore, I'm finally happy. But you are suffering, so try getting over it. Now past can't return, even if you want it to, even if you don't want it to. 

Sid nodded. Avu smiled and kissed his cheek and was about to go but Sid held her wrist and pulled her, hugging her from behind. He kept his chin on her shoulder, intertwining his fingers with hers, their hands on her stomach. Their eyes were closed as they just stood there silently, feeling the moment. They didn't get much time to spend together because of all the problems going on earlier, first time they were getting a moment to spend together in peace. After sometime she broke the silence. 

Avu: What are you doing? 

Sid: Nothing, I just want to spend some time with you. 

Avu: But all are there outside, I should go back there. 

Sid: Ok go. 

He left her and she went back to others. Sid went to their room and lied on the bed. 

Abhi: Are you planning to sleep at this time? 

Sid: No, just feeling lazy so lied down. What are you doing? 

Abhi: Chatting with someone. 

Sid: Hmm. Tell me once your chatting is done. 

Abhi: It's not important, you say what you want to. 

He said while turning his phone off. 

Sid: I just wanted to ask what happened at that time? 

Abhi: It's just the reaction I gave at that time, it was without any thinking. But when I looked at her, her eyes were filled with hope. 

Sid: And that hope disturbed you, you don't want her to have that hope. 

Abhi: Yeah. 

Sid: Till when? You are not ready now, but dada, what if someone else comes in her life later? 

Abhi: That would be even more greater. 

Sid: For her maybe, not you. For once think properly dada, its not a small crush, you both have deeply fallen in love. 

Abhi: Look, that's the thing. If I can't move on, how will she do so? And if she moves on then even I can do so. 

Sid: That's true, but will you ever be ready? 

Abhi: I... 

He had no answer for this. 

Sid: The answer is no. You'll never be ready, but Rini is gone, she is not returning now. 

Abhi: And she's not Rini, she's Vaishu. Sid, I understand what you are saying, even I know love is a beautiful feeling, we have both felt it. But trauma, it feels like it will always be there inside, it won't disappear how much ever we try. And because of that I lose all the strength, belief and will to fight against it. 

Sid: Then don't fight the trauma, embrace the love first because love heals all wounds.
