The Concept Game, Volume #2

[To The Rescue] || Yunho

"I know that's your father and all, but he's kind of scary."

"Trust me, I still get scared of him sometimes. Anyways, are we ready for the tour?" You all nodded and he led the way throughout the castle. First stopping by the kitchen to make requests for dinner, he showed the castle and you all marveled at its beauty. After the grand tour, dinner was finally ready and you all ate to your hearts content.

"Where are you everyone staying? It's getting late so I'll take you home." Yunho asked. You pulled up the address and he knew immediately how to get there.

"We can take my car."

"You drive?"

"Not often but I need to impress you all so I'll do it."

"Trust us, we're beyond impressed." You said, all of your friends agreeing.

After leaving the castle and Yunho driving back to the accommodation, he wished you all a good night and striked up one last conversation.

"How long are you all staying for?"

"We'll be here for the rest of the week." Your friend replied.

"Great, I'm usually walking around so hopefully I'll see you all again soon. Especially if ____ here needs saving." He said, giving you a wink.

"If I need saving, I'll call out for you." You said, blush creeping up your cheeks.

"And I'll try my best to get you as quickly as possible. I should let you all go and get your beauty sleep so goodnight everyone." You all wished him goodnight and for him to drive safely.

The next morning, you all had breakfast and you shared an idea with them.

"Hear me out: how about we extend our time here?" You asked your friends.

"Extend to how long though?" One of them asked you.

"Another week maybe?" You said, dragging out the last syllable.

"Let's be real, they want to stay longer so they can see that prince again."

"This isn't about him!" You exclaimed.

"Then why do you want to stay longer?" They asked, looking at you quizzically.

"I-I just think that it's a really beautiful place and I want to see more of it, that's all." Your friends narrowed their eyes at your response.

"Mhmm, only the place is beautiful." One of them said, rolling their eyes.

"____ did you forget that we have to go back to work?" Another asked, raising their eyebrow at you.

"Yeah they're right, if you want to see your beloved prince again you have to do it while we're still here."

"If that's even possible." You muttered under your breath.

"So this IS about him!" You pursed your lips together, realizing that you denying it would be fighting a losing battle.

"Okay, maybe it is. MAYBE, but y'all are right, we still have to go back home." You finished with a sigh.

"He did say we can probably see him at any given moment since he doesn't like to stay cooped up in the castle."

"That's true. We'll see him whenever he see him, I guess."

"How about now?" You all turned around to the voice and you nearly choked on your food when you saw Yunho. He quickly rushed over to pat your back.

"____, you have to be careful when eating." He said, voice laced with concern. Your friends couldn't help but laugh at the situation and you glared at them after getting yourself together.

"I'll be more careful next time." You said shyly, feeling a bit embarrassed. He asked what were the plans of the day and your group shared that since we didn't get to see a lot of the town yet, you were going to continue to walk around.

"Oh I can give you all a guide tour if you'd like, that way you don't get lost." He offered.

"If that's alright with you." Your friend said.

"Yeah we don't want you to get in trouble with your father." Another friend said, all of you shivering at the thought.

"Eh, don't worry about him. He's quite fond of you all actually." You all looked at one another, not truly believing him.

"Are we ready for the tour?" Yunho asked, stealing the last bite of food from your plate. You all nodded and he showed you around town. He explained the country's history and landmarks.

You managed to spend the entire week with Yunho, all of you were sad to leave on the last day.

"Yunho we don't want to leave but we have to go back to our crumby jobs." One of your friends said with a huff.

"So stay." He said.

"We wish but if we don't show up to work, we all might get fired." You explained.

"Especially me, I don't even know how they allowed me my vacation time." Another friend said.

"I understand but whenever you can, please come back. It'll get boring here without you all." Yunho responded.

"We'll most certainly come back. This place is so beautiful." You said.

You all gave him a hug goodbye, your hug with him lasting a bit longer than the others.

"Don't tell your friends but I think I'll miss you the most." He whispered in your ear.

"I'll keep it a secret." You whispered back to him.

"Before you go though, can I have your number? That way I can know that you all made it home safely." He asked, slightly nervous of how you would respond.

"Of course you can!" You then hand him your phone and he adds himself to your contact list, sending himself a quick text so he can have your number.

"Okay, don't forget to text me ____!"

"I won't, I promise." You all waved goodbye to him and left to go back home.  Once you landed, you texted him as promised and you let out a sigh as you went through your photos. You knew you'll definitely be back but you weren't sure when. At least you got lucky because he was one phone call or text message away.
