* Five, Y/n and the Handler get back to the commission*

The Handler: I must admit, in all the time that I've been here, I've never met anyone quite like you both.  Hazel and Cha-Cha, for example, are talented, certainly, but... they can't see the big picture.

Y/n: Plus we took them down pretty fast.

Handler: Fair enough. but Your spunk, your enterprising spirit, well, it reminds me a great deal of myself, if... I may be so vainglorious. If things work out for you here, you could potentially make
fine successors, Five and Eight. Plus with the emansion on your abilities and you high intelligence Y/n, you have the potential to be one of the most powerful people at the commision. Isn't that what you always wanted?

Y/n: we'd like to discuss the logistics of our family's safety at your earliest convenience.

Five: As well as this body replacement.

Handler: Such chutzpah. It's refreshing, I'll admit. Slow down, Five. All in good time. In fact, now that you've finally agreed to work with us, we've got all the time in the world. The Commission works in support of a delicate balance between the time line of events and mankind's free will.

(As the 3 of you are walking you pass by the briefcase room and Five goes in to grab one.)

The Handler: The briefcase is no longer part of your kit, Five. Free your mind. You're management now. One of us. (Walks to a room full of people sitting at desks that go farther than they can see) All the people on this floor are case managers, each one responsible for one major event at a time.

Five: So many of them.

Handler: Impressive, isn't it? Being part of something... so grand. Come along. (The 3 start walking down the hall again) Whenever someone chooses the wrong path and the time line is changed the Commission gets a report from field agents on the ground. These field reports are sorted and assigned to a case manager. They determine if anyone needs to be... removed from the equation to assure that their event happens as it should. Based on that determination, the case manager sends instructions via pneumatic tube to... temporal assassins like you both formerly were. Any queries so far? (She finishes as the 3 walk into a room with a smaller amount of desks than the last and an open one that had 2 chairs behind it)

Y/n: Yeah. Just one.  Who was the case manager handling us?

Handler: Ah. You mean the apocalypse. (The handler walks over to the empty desk with five and Y/n behind as she points to a girl sitting in the desk behind the open one) Five, Y/n, meet Dot.

Dot: Oh, hi.

Handler: Dot is responsible for all apocalypse matters. In fact, it was Dot here
who first flagged your appearance in 2019.

Dot: No hard feelings.

Y/n: Sure

Handler: Well, you certainly put us through the ringer. Outsmarting two of our so-called best temporal assassins. (puts her hand on Five's shoulder as Y/n glares at her) If that doesn't spell
leadership materia...I just don't know. (walks over and grabs a file off the desk.) I suspect... you like something that challenges your intellect. Which is why I've given you a particularly complex first case. It's too bad Joseph Späh decided against sabotaging the fuel tank.

Y/n: It would have been easier.

Handler: Exactly Eight. Or should I say Y/n? Or perhaps Blaze?

Y/n: (knows they were watching when Klaus called her Blazey) Blaze will work.

Handler: Glad to see you finally except your power Blaze... Well, I'll leave you to it. Anyhoo... if you have any questions... I'll be right behind you.

(She leaves and Y/n and Five sit down at their desk.)

Five: (whispers) How would she know what Klaus called you?

Y/n: (whispers) Probably was watching us.  (She says grabbing the file out of Five's hands and opening it.) Let's just stick to the plan, and get this over with.

(Y/n and Five have been working for about 30 minutes on their case)

Dot: Hiya, Guys. How's it going?

Five: We must have utter silence in order to complete this task.

Dot: Oh, okay. Hey, a few of us are having lunch, and I was wondering if you...(Five clears his throat while putting the assignment card into a capsule)...you're doing something. (Five stands up and grabs Y/n's hand as they start to walk to the capsule room)

Dot: Oh. Bye... Bye!

Y/n: She seemed friendly.

Five: What do you care?

Y/n: She seems to noisey. We should watch out for her.

(They walk to the capsule room and are about to send the capsule off to a field agent.)

Handler: I'm afraid that's not procedure. (she stops them and they turn to see her with an old lady next to her) Five,Blaze, meet Gloria. Gloria is perhaps the single most vital cog in our machine.(Gloria acts flattered) Gloria, this is Number Five, and Blaze, formally known as number eight, but has decided that Blaze fits her better, and I would have to agree. (Y/n gives them a fake smile)

Gloria: Look at you. Deadly little thing. So happy we decided to close
the contract on your life.

Handler: I'm afraid your reputation precedes you. And it looks like you're building on it
here. (She opens the container to see who you called for the elimination of)  Oh. Karl Weber. Now tell me, why unfortunate Karl?

Five: Karl Weber is the butcher at the shop where Captain Ernst A. Lehmann acquires his weekly roast.

Y/n: So, if Karl dies, his butcher shop is passed on to his son Otto, who... never washes his hands,
which is disgusting.

Handler: So he's the one who gives the captain his roast. (She starts to get excited)

Five: And that gives him food poisoning.

Handler: Which makes him late for work. Which delays the takeoff.

Y/n: And to make up for lost time, the Hindenburg flies through a weather front of high electrical charge and humidity.

Handler: And the static electricity inside the aircraft makes it a virtual tinderbox.

Y/n: Tiny engine sparks...

Five: And just like that, we have... (Both Y/n and Five make an explosion movement with their hands)

Gloria: Oh!

Handler: Very impressive. (The 3 of them walk back to the office and gloria stays in hers)

Handler: I'm sure you've all heard that Mr. Five and Ms. Blaze has proven to be as adept with a pen as they were with a sword. Let their efforts serve as inspiration to you all... Herb! How long have you been on the Lusitania?

Herb: Oh, ah... Well, let's see, I, uh... I...

Handler:  Sorry?

Herb: When I first started...

Handler: Sorry? I can't hear you.(more mumbling from herb) Still can't hear you.

(the lunch bell rings and everyone leaves)

Y/n: Saved by the bell... literally.

(Five grabs the file on the apocalypse)

Five: lets go.

(They go into the bathroom and five goes in the stall to look at the file while Y/n waits outside it)
