The Fire Within (Five Hargreaves x reader)

(Allison, Y/n, diego, and Five arrive at the address in Jenkin's file)

Allison: Be careful, okay? We don't know what Peabody's capable of.

Diego: Yeah, he didn't seem dangerous when I first saw him. Looked kinda scrawny.

Allison: Yeah, well, so are most serial killers and mass murderers.  I mean, look at them.

Y/n and Five: Thanks.

Diego: Good point. So what's this guy want with Vanya?

(As they walk up she notices Allison walking towards the back of the house)

Five: I don't know. How about we ask him after we kill him?

Diego: (stopping Y/n and Five) Whoa, whoa. Hey, look, I'm gonna burst through... (He notices that Allison is gone)You know what? It would be nice for people just to stick to... (Before he could Finish Five grabbed Y/n's hand and teleported inside and met up with Allison before watching Diego slam his way through the glass door breaking it and landing on the floor)

Allison: Subtle.

Five: (testing the door) You know, the door was unlocked. (both Allison and Y/n laugh)

Diego: Yeah, well, my way works just fine.

Y/n: That cut on your neck says otherwise. (She pointed to his neck that now had a shallow cut)

Diego: (not responding to her) Spread out. Yell if you, uh...you know, you're in trouble. 

Five: Ah, inspiring leadership.

Allison: One of the greats.

Y/n: He has issues. 

(They all split up Five and Diego take downstairs while Y/n and Allison take upstairs, As Y/n is searching through the bedroom when she hears Allison scream something from the attic) 

Allison: Guys, you need to see this. 

(Y/n rushes up the ladder to the attic where five blink and Diego is last to get there. Allison then point to figureans of the umbrella academy)

Allison: All our faces are burnt off.

Diego: Well, that's not creepy.

Y/n: This guy's got some serious issues.

All: Shit.

Allison: This was never about Vanya. This was about us.

(Lost in thought I stared at the old action figures of the academy before noticing something)

Y/n: How come there is only 6 action figures? Didn't they come in a set with all 7 of us? (they nod) So who is missing? 

Diego: (looking at all the figures) There's Luther, me, allison, klaus, Five, Ben, and dad. I think you're the one missing. But why would you be missing?

(Y/n looked around the room to spot a chest in the corner)

Y/n: Did you check in the chest yet?

Allison: (She shook her head)

(Y/n walked over to the chest before opening it slowly... only to find a shrien to her. It had her figure on a pedestal with a back round of all pictures of her from different magazines and news coverages. On it had been written "Number Eight" as a heading and little phrases on the side like "The balance" "The strength" "The middle" along with many other things but at the bottom was a phrase that stood out, "I will save you my zus")

Diego: What does zus mean?

Allison: I have nothing. Y/n?

Y/n: It sounds familiar. (She closes the trunk and stands up only to hear a thud behind her. She wips around to see Five noe on the ground)

Allison:  Five. Wh...

Diego: Wh... Blood.  Jesus, Five.

Y/n: Five,Why didn't you say anything?

Five: You have to keep going. So... close.

Allison: Five.

Y/n: Five! We have to get him back to the house.

(Diego helps Y/n get Five back in the car and they raced back home)
