The Fire Within (Five Hargreaves x reader)

(Five and Y/n see dot going into the tube room carrying a tube so Five blinks in and they hide behind a wall to listen) 

Dot: Gloria, the Handler knows that Five and Eight is up to something. Get this to Hazel and Cha-Cha immediately.

Gloria: Uh...

Dot: Immediately.

Gloria:  Okay. Yeah. Who are they?

(Before she could anything else Five blinked behind her and hit her over the head making her go unconscious) 

Y/n: Yeah maybe saying to get rid of her was a bit to bold. 

(Y/n grabs the tube before opening it and reading the assignment)

                  Protect Harold Jenkins

( Y/n hands it to five and he puts it in his pocket. They each go to an individual typewriter and type out 2 messages, One for Hazel and one for Cha-Cha) 

                 Hazel's:  Eliminate Cha-Cha for immediate extraction. 

                 Cha-Cha's : Eliminate Hazel for immediate extraction. 

(Both take their message and put it in a tube before sending to out to Hazel and Cha-Cha) 

Handler: You know that's not how we do things here. Where's Gloria?

Five: Don't know. Couldn't find her anywhere. 

(Gloria groans and both Five and Y/n start to look worried) 

Handler: You're a great disappointment to me. You can't change what's to come. I truly find it so odd that you can't shed this fantasy. You're a first-rate pragmatist. You belong here with us.

Y/n: We don't belong anywhere, thanks to you.

Five: You made us killers.

Handler: You were always killers. I just pointed you in a direction. And Blaze, I could have given you all the power you wanted. You are meant to be a strong leader. You're to good for that family. Come with us, It's were you belong, It's your Destiny.

Y/n: My destiny is my choice, and I belong with my family, with the people I love. 

Handler: You are meant to be alone. And you forever will be. Your power is to great.

Five: She's not alone, and she never will be. 

Y/n: You're right my power's strong, but my love for my family will always be stronger. 

Handler: That's because you haven't scratched the surface of your powers yet. But I can help you. I can show you who you are.

Y/n: I know who I am, and even if I didn't I'm sure as hell not going to ask you.

(The handler pulls a gun out as five grabs Y/n's hand and jumps behind the tubes and shots fired as the security alarm goes off. Y/n stays behind the tubes as Five starts jumping around to confuse her.) 

Handler: What's the rush Five? We are just getting started. Is this how you want the last line of your report to read? 

Five: When I'm done, I'm done, I guess.

Handler: You can't keep this up, Five. We both know that even you have a limit. I saved you both
from a lifetime of being alone together.You owe me.

Five: I do owe a debt. But it's not to you.

(Five grabs Y/n's hand as he blinks to the other side of the room and Y/n creates a fire ball before throwing it at the ball casing a big explosion right after they ran out. As Y/n rose her hand to shield herself from the glass and other materials fling from the explosion she looked up only to see a shield of ice had formed around her wrists. She looked at it in disbelief before it melted and disappeared being replace with a flame. Five grabs Y/n's hand again before dragging her to the briefcase room and grabbed on. They set it to a couple hours after they left and started to run out. They they were running, Y/n turned around a struck the briefcase room with lightning causing another explosion. That five used the briefcase to shield them from before it went off. Time begane to rewind as the two traveled through it and landed on top of the bar in the living room. Back in th academy.)
