Chapter 36

"Yeah, he's actually saying that he's going to respect L'manburg as a country for the first time." We all looked at each other in surprise before all of us took our armor off and grabbed ender pearls. "Alright guys let's move out!" They pearled away as I stayed behind. "Thank you Ranboo." He smiled before I pearled to follow the boys to where everyone was going to meet. We found where they were all meeting and we split up to listen from everywhere.

"Dream?!" Fundy sounded surprised. I thought this meeting was planned. All of them sounded shocked to see Dream there. "Tommy fucked up." What? What did Tommy do? Why was Dream looking for him? I had so many questions that couldn't be answered so I just continued to listen. They all started arguing about Tommy and what he has supposedly done. All of them started following Dream. I followed them wanting to know what was happening and what Tommy had done. I followed them to where the community house is, or where it was supposed to be. Now it's gone! Covered in a wall of water. There was almost nothing left of it. Did Tommy actually do this or? I was paying attention to the community house until I heard Dream's voice again.

Tommy blew up the community house! We were this close to peace! THIS CLOSE!" Everyone was yelling that they had no idea that this had happened and that they had no part in it. Could Tommy have really done all of this? "Why would we affiliate to some dumb shit Tommy does? Why?" At this point Dream looked pissed. "BECAUSE TUBBO-!" Dream took a deep breath before continuing. "Cause, Tubbo, you still have his disk." There was a moment that everyone was silent before I heard my brother's voice once again. "Yeah, what about it?" Dream looked like he was trying not to yell.

"That means you're affiliated! No matter what! That is his most prized possession, and if I don't have the disk or he doesn't have the disk then guess what you are affiliated! You have the disk!" After that they still went back to yelling at each other going nowhere with any of it. What pisses me off more is those damn disks! Years and years have passed, 2 wars have passed and no one has let those damn things go and I am starting to get sick of it! I sawTommy and Techno jump down from the top of the water wall. I stayed where I was because I was supposed to be back up if anything went wrong.

"Tommy didn't do this okay?!" Techno had his sword out and was standing by Tommy. I had my bow and specially made arrows out just in case Dream or anyone else made a move. "Okay listen, listen. I know I'm not the most reliable person to the government but Tommy wouldn't lie to me! He said he didn't do it, he wouldn't lie to me!" I trust Techno but I think he put a little too much trust in Tommy just because they're blood. Dream and Techno started arguing now everyone else was silent because these could very well be the two most dangerous people on the server. Tubbo tried to hit Tommy with his trident but before he could I shot my arrow and hit just barely missed his arm. Everyone looked to find that me and my invisibility had just worn off. Tubbo turned back to Tommy and they started arguing now.

"We're going in Tommy!" Techno splashed a potion before he started attacking people. I pulled out several arrows and started shooting people with them. I let Tommy and Tubbo duel on their own as they kept arguing. Me and Techno went after other people in the process. I shot them down as he fought them one on one. Everyone stopped when Tommy said those very few words.

"THE DISKS WERE WORTH MORE THAN YOU EVER WHERE!" I let my bow drop as everyone froze. "Just give him the disk..." What. What the hell was he doing! I ran towards the community house and jumped in near where Techno was. Techno sounded surprised as well when I moved closer to him. "Tommy, are you sure you want to do this?!" I can hear Techno start to panic and I don't blame him, but why would Tommy do this?

"This isn't me. I look around and I'm not the person I wanna be." Techno moves closer to Tommy, but he can't seem to keep eye contact with Techno. "I'm so sorry..." He's not going to do what I think he's going to do. Is he...? "We can still get out of here Tommy, we can regroup! We can plan for another day!" Techno had grabbed Tommy's shoulders so he could try and look in his brother's eyes, but Tommy wouldn't look at him. "I'm sorry." Tommy shrugged his brother's hands off his shoulder and walked back towards Tubbo. No...

"I'm with Tubbo." Tommy finally looked Techno in the eyes. I couldn't see Techno but I know that that hurt him. "Think hard about this decision Tommy, because once you've made a choice. You cannot go back." I walk beside Techno and hold his hand. "You can either be with us Tommy. Or against us." Tommy looks between the two of us and then at Tubbo taking a long time to think about his next words. "Technoblade, Y/n. I know what I've done and I hate me for it. I'm sorry." Techno lets go of my hand and brushes his hair back. I could tell he was holding back tears.

"Wow..." Techno pulled out his crossbow, but before he could do anything about it Dream spoke up. "Tubbo, thank you for giving me the disk! I just want to say that you're an idiot." Wait what? What's going on now? "You are an absolute idiot and you have no power and you are the worst president that has ever been president-elect because you're not at all!" Tubbo looked over at me, but I couldn't help him now. He's only done this for himself.

"You're not even president! Quality is more president than you! I AM MORE PRESIDENT OF L'MANBURG THAN YOU!" Me and Techno move next to Dream as he continues to talk. "You get pushed around by everybody on the server. Because you are an IDIOT!" Dream holds up the disk that Tubbo gave him. "You just gave me the ONE THING that I needed to destroy L'manburg! I don't care about L'manburg, I don't care about anything and I've said this before." I stare Tubbo and Tommy down, I know they didn't want this to happen, but their own stupid greed got in the way of that. Both of them looked extremely scared of the masked man. Dream then pointed at Ranboo.

"Ranboo is a traitor!" Dream threw a leather covered book that said 'DO NOT READ' on the ground. "That's his memory book. He's been meeting with Techno, Tommy, and Y/n in secret and told them everything!" Techno and I look at each other then look at Dream. "This never happened, he's done nothing of the sort!" Everyone was looking at Ranboo and he looked scared out of his mind. He couldn't remember, but why did Dream have his memory book in the first place? I moved through the crowd of people in front of the tall teenager to block him from the bunch of angry people.

"He may not have remembered what happened, but I know for a fact that he has done nothing of the sort. He is probably one of the most innocent people here!" I turn around to face the boy and look up at him. "You go now, I'll send a dove your way when you are safe." He nodded then he ran. Everyone started yelling again at each other. I was sick of it all.

"THAT IS ENOUGH! I AM SICK OF ALL THE FIGHTING AND ALL THE MIS-TRUST! I AM FINISHING WHAT WILBUR STARTED!" I raised the water behind me, Techno, and Dream lifting us up above everybody else. "IN ONE DAY WE ARE GOING TO BLOW L'MANBURG OUT OF EXISTENCE WITH WHATEVER IS NEEDED POSSIBLE! YOU CAN TRY AND STOP US OR YOU CAN RUN AWAY AND SAVE YOURSELVES!" Everyone stood there in silence before Techno spoke up.

"Y/n, put me back down." I gently put Techno down in front of Tommy and I let Dream go as well and he just ran. "Tommy, give me back the axe. You're not worthy. I was wrong." Tommy just stared up at him in shock, seemingly speechless. Tommy looked down at the axe in his hands. "No, no. You know what Technoblade? I am worthy and you aren't going to side with Dream and Y/n to take down L'manburg are you?" Techno only stared at Tommy before he glared down at his little brother.

"You know what Tommy, you have made a decision today that can't be undone and you know what. I respect you Tommy, you are free to make your own choices wrong as they are. That's what anarchy is about. It's about freedom. To do what you want." Techno turned around towards me and his back to Tommy. "But all I have to say Tommy, is that I hope you won't come to regret it." I lifted Techno backup and we left. No one moved to stop us, nor did they try. We walked through the nether back to our home in silence and without Tommy. Once we got back out the portal, Phil was waiting for us on the other side.

"Where's Tommy mate?" That's what broke Techno. Techno grabbed onto his father and cried into his shoulder. We walked with Techno back to the house slowly and by that time he had calmed down a bit. Once we arrived at the house, we saw Dream leaning against it. He pushed off the house and walked towards us. This was really happening.

L'manburg was going to fall...
